NAPA and KOI are the only places "car Guys" use and with good reason. NAPA in Fairfield is…read moreparticularly helpful. The Guy who owns it (I can not for the life of me remember his name this minute) could have made an extra $40 on a part I was willing to buy but most likely was not the cause of my problem. He was right in his assessment (my acc. powerpoints in my truck wouldnt work. I needed to replace a relay and not the entire fuse block.) He wound up spending about 20 minutes working with me to make sure the part I needed was the one I purchased. My truck had 3 variations of the one block because a prior recall had a recall which left two options for the relay. I was very grateful for his help. I could have saved $4 buying it online, but I would have been buying the wrong part shipping it back, getting another wrong part then shipping it which would have cost me double the NAPA price. The Stores are no bells no whistles just things you use in repair and go about your merry way, which I like. The Zone and Advance place are cluttered with gimicky items and parts by heavily marketed Companys and not quality minded ones. Prices are not the lowest but Service and speed make the $4-10 saved moot. NAPAs house brand oil is good, but if you're like me and have over 75k and opt. for high mileage oil, get the gallon jugs from Wally World and filters from NAPA. If you've ever seen the side by side cutouts of filters, you'll never buy a non-NAPA filter again. Pros- Service. Speed of service. Knowledgeable Staff willingness to get you the right part the first time. Stores are plain Jane and not cluttered. They're promo.'s dont have expenditure min. to reach savings advertisement. They've got delivery. They'll take waste oil and do brake rotor turnings. Cons- Store hours are like banks. Evening projects usually require picking up parts right after work as opposed to going home and hanging out for awhile before parts trip because they close so early.

The guy I worked with was very polite and helpful. My only issue was that there was no concern for public health during the current coronavirus pandemic. None of the employees were wearing masks. There was no signage regarding protocols. No sanitizer was available. So, would most likely be a great place to shop, just not during a pandemic!

I went to this AutoZone twice in two days. I'd been here before that. I guess AutoZone and places…read morelike that are places people have to go to from time to time and don't think much of it. I'm generally pretty unhappy with picking up car things. This time I knew exactly what random bit I needed. I think I surprised the fellow who helped me. Frankly, I was rather impressed with myself, too. But, really, the people who work here are just ridiculously nice. Everyone asked if I needed help, if I was taken care of. And it wasn't just me. They were like that with everyone. They worked as such a cohesive team, it was amazing. I will not name names or places, but later in the week I ended up at a car place similar to this with a friend and was struck by how different the lack of service and dynamic was. These people were just on their game and willing to help in any way possible. I highly recommend this location. I didn't feel like a burden and it was genuinely pleasant. I won't feel as unhappy about going to the car store now that I know this place exists.

Had a quick question for a staff member. Walked to the front of the store and waiting at the register for a couple minutes before I was acknowledged. Three stars for less than prompt customer service without there being a line. I did get the part I needed.
