    This review is about the service department fraud and the service manager who tried to pull a fast one ! I was told that the car needed a wiring harness due to rodent damage. When I went up there the service manager could not find any damage to the Wiring Harness and changed the terminology to a wire overlay. (Not a ford approved repair) The car was already taken apart, and they added a jumper wire from the fuse box to the center of the dashboard that I took a picture of and not $1985.00 worth of labor.. filed a fraud claim with consumer affairs in Trenton.. left message for dealership owner Kevin first to discuss what is going on with his dealership and he never called me back shame on them ! Then he they pushed to sell brakes, fuel system service and coolant flush .. charged 4300.00 for repairs..

    Oily mess after sloppy Oil Change

    I'm reliving a bad experience by having to follow-up with a bad review, here's what happened. Only because of a recommendation that I decided to give the Service Dept at Performance Ford a chance to service my new 2019 F150. Visit 1 - Originally (1st visit July 2020) it went in with a list of items (I wrote up) that required attention including it's first oil change, most of the items on the list were addressed and repaired however a recurring issue regarding "Pre-Collision Assist AEB" was not resolved, the truck remained in their possession for 2 weeks. Visit 2 - In Sept 2020, I returned to them for another Oil Change after a long road trip. The following day I noticed Oil Puddles on my driveway, I drove up on ramps and found the bottom of my F150 soaked with oil, for the record I took pictures. I immediately called the Service Adviser and explained what I found, he asked me to come in right away, this would be my 3rd visit. Visit 3 - The Svc Dept took me in right away and in less than 15 minutes I was told the cleaning was complete. I left and drove straight home and had to see for myself. As suspected, they did a "quickie wipe down" and left it at that, so again I again took pictures and this time answered a "Rating Questionnaire" from FordMotorCo explaining my experience and rating the Service Dept with 1-Star. The following day, I received an apology email from A.P. (Service Mgr) asking me to call him directly. We discussed at length and he agreed to replace the soiled fiber-board and thoroughly clean the oily mess noting that he'd contact me once the part arrived. After not hearing anything for 2 weeks I followed up with an eMail and was scheduled for the visit, this would be my 4th visit. Visit 4 - I arrived early morning and would wait for the work to be completed, about 30 minutes later I was called to the Service Advisers window that my truck was ready (the Svc Mgr ignored me that day). Prior to leaving I reviewed their work writeup and noticed that only replacement of the fiber-board was included, there was nothing regarding the cleanup, so I had to ask. The Service Adviser turned to the Tech who did the job and was told it's complete, he then turned to me and said "if he says it's done then it's done". Once again I returned home to see for myself. With the trucks front wheels up on ramps I went to take a look. Yes, they did a much better wipe-down and they replaced the fiber-board, however only the rear one. The front fiber-board remained with it's oil soaked stains, I gently bent the board to find that the bottom of the motor remained an oil stained greasy, grimy, mess. I followed up with another review to FoMoCo yesterday and have not received their reply yet, hopefully they will contact me and offer a resolution. SHAME on the PERFORMANCE FORD Service Department, and their Management, ... I'm done with you! -dp-

    Factory uncut rotor just needed to be cut like promised. They told me they couldn't cut it..Thanks Peter for the lie!

However, I recently received a bill from Hyundai Finance because Towne only paid a portion of what they promised. I am now being held responsible for payments that the dealership explicitly agreed to cover. I never would have signed for a new vehicle if I knew I'd be double-paying on two leases. For nearly three months, I have been given every excuse in the book: "the finance guy is on vacation," "the check is in the mail," or "I need to talk to the GM." This is beyond a simple mistake; it's a failure to honor a contract. If you are considering Towne Hyundai, be extremely careful. Get every promise in writing and double-check your account with Hyundai Finance immediately. Based on my experience with their lack of transparency and follow-through, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. Go elsewhere.

    2 1/2 Months Later - Still No Plates or Registration…read more I purchased a vehicle from Sawyer Lyons Buick GMC of Randolph on December 13, 2025. It has been two and a half months, and I still do not have permanent plates, registration, title, or a valid inspection sticker. My temporary plates and registration expired over a month and a half ago, making the vehicle illegal to drive. The dealership has never once proactively contacted me. I've had to call weekly and show up in person for updates. When I asked for a loaner so I could legally drive, the sales manager told me, "Why should I give you a loaner car?" I even requested to return the vehicle and get my down payment and payments refunded. They said they'd take the car back but wouldn't return all of my money. I'm making payments on a vehicle I cannot legally operate. Buyers beware.

In March of 2023 I brought my 2019 Ford Escape into Route 23 Automall for an engine failure. This repair took 2-3 weeks and I was not given a loaner. Less than a year later, in March of 2024, I brought the same car in for a transmission failure (great design, right Ford?). Again, I was not given a loaner, and my car has been in the shop for over 4 weeks now. I was told that a new transmission was put in, but engine lights came on when they did that they could not figure out. For the past 2 weeks, I have been given the runaround and cannot get any answers from Alexis in Quicklane. If a certified Ford auto shop cannot figure out how to fix their own cars, that is a huge problem. Needless to say, if and when I do get my car back from them, I will not be returning, and I will certainly not recommend Route 23 Automall Quicklane to anybody. In anybody is wondering, there is a Class Action Lawsuit against Ford for their transmission issues. Gerkarrah Jones v. Ford, Case No. 2:24-cv-10721-MAG-CI Ford and Route 23 Automall need to do better.

I found my 2024 Ranger Raptor at this dealership. I sent an email late Sunday evening inquiry. I received a very prompt response from Brian the following Monday morning. We exchanged emails and texts throughout the day and had a deal. I filled out a PDF financing application, selected a few dealer installed options, which took a coupe days to receive and install by their service team, and picked up my new 2024 Ranger Raptor on Thursday morning. On Thursday, I had the privilege to meet with Brian in person. He is a knowledgeable, courteous professional! I then signed all the paperwork with the Finance Manager and was done in about 15 minutes. Brian took the time to help me get the Ford App on my phone and walked me through connecting Apple Air Play and all basic features on the vehicle. This was the absolute best modern car buying experience for serious buyers who value their time. I highly recommend with Brian Barna and the Route 23 Ford Auto Mall in Butler, NJ.
