Before I go off on my tangent, l'll give you all some back story. - I am I am a single mother to four remarkable children. I do my best to survive, working 40 hours plus in order to provide for my children and myself. I was recently divorced "2023" before that I had never purchased a car on my own, my husband had always help with negotiating appropriate prices. That being said in 2024 I was involved in a pile up that totaled my car, luckily I had almost paid it off so I received a significant amount from my insurance company. Procrastinating for about two weeks due to not wanting to deal with this particular responsibility, I finally came across performance Ford in bountiful. Long story longer I ended up purchasing a 2020 Range Rover, at the time it had just a little over 47,000 miles, and was a luxury model with all the bells and whistles. The vehicle was listed at $43,687.00 I also put a $3,500.00 deposit down. They added in all their little in-house insurance programs that raised my prices significantly as well as gap insurance, "which I think is always a smart, when purchasing a used vehicle" all doneI ended up financing a total of $56,469.10, for anyone who doesn't feel like doing math right now that's an additional cost of $12,782.01. I was completely naïve in thinking that performance Ford was looking out for me and assisting me in a great financial vehicle deal. Payments were insanely high like $820.00 a month high, obviously I was drowning financially because of this "great deal" thinking I had no other options I contacted performance Ford about getting out of this vehicle I was having such a difficult time keeping up with the and gas and insurance. Performance Ford assured me they could help and two come on down, they'll take care of me. So that's what I did naïvely, trusting in humanity, and performance Ford to help me out. Not even help just be genuinely good to another person. January 11, 2025 I head down to performance Ford the salesman I worked with suggests I get a 2019 Tesla because my insurance would be so much cheaper, I wouldn't need to spend money on gas and they could also add my negative equity from the Range Rover into my current loan, while lowering my monthly payments. " I'm thinking to myself, man I'm so unbelievably grateful that I am and and that they were able to save me during my little financial crisis, I had must had misjudged them" I signed their contract, smiling ear to ear within myself, while also praising myself for accomplished this huge stress and financial burden. Driving home I couldn't wait to get home not only to show off the vehicle to my children but also to charge it and get familiar with such a foreign vehicle. surprise when I arrived home and went to plug In the car there was no charging cable in the car. I wasn't too worried about it I figured they had been charging it at the dealership and forgot to put it back in the trunk, and thought I'll just go to the supercharging station tonight and charge the car so that I'll be able to take my kids to school and then drive to the dealership to get the cable. I called performance Ford the next morning, letting them know my intentions to meet with them to go over missing items for the vehicle. They said absolutely be here at such and such time. When I arrived no one would assist me, I left after waiting in their parking lot for over 1hr 1/2. When home I called performance Ford to let them know I would need them to provide me with a charging cable. Performance Ford staff were not only incredibly rude, but they were acting as if I was putting them out. they informed me they would contact the previous owner and then follow up with me, three days passed I still hadn't heard from them so I called again. This time I had requested to speak with the manager while on hold, I mentally got into quote n quote "my suppressed inner Karen" mode" the manager, proceeded to tell me that they could not locate the cable and that they would not be purchasing me one. I then was extremely frustrated as I'm sure you could imagine and acted in my not best self. The manager did reluctantly agree to order me a new cord which intern I waited another 2 days for at this point I've had the vehicle for over a week using the supercharging station multiple times a day. Inquiring fees over $190.00 in charging my, I also found out my insurance would actually be an additional $120.00 for my policy because of the vehicle being aTesla, at this point I was feeling pretty defeated but then I had remembered that when I traded my Range Rover performance Ford owed $860.00 for the previous gap insurance I purchased. Today March 5, 2025, I have called performance Ford, I've texted my salesman and reached out to the finance manager all I that I've received our roundabout messages that are very placating and putting off. This ordeal has destroyed my faith in humanity! It's not that complicated, just be good people and do good things!

**PREDATORY MAINTENANCE** I scheduled an appointment online for an oil change for $48 and received a 12% coupon (see screenshots). When I arrived for my appointment, Dustin Danner asked if I also wanted a tire rotation and alignment, stating I need both every 6 months. I declined the alignment. Two hours later, they state my car is ready and I can check out. Dustin tells me, "We couldn't get your tires off, but I got you an even better deal, it'll be $69"! He then shows me a receipt charging me for an oil change, tire rotation (which they didn't do), and multi-point inspection (listed on their site for my car $59). I tell him that is outrageous and far more than what they told me online. He argues with me and stating my 2006 Mustang conventional oil "EASILY costs $100 because there's lots of oil in such a big engine". I've never paid more than $50 at Ray's down the street. Dustin then just pushes the receipt at me, saying "How about I just give it to you?" and charges me nothing for the appointment. I receive my keys and return to my car, where the oil sticker on my windshield has not been changed. When I get home, I check my oil and my oil cap is still dirty and my oil is not even full. Which leads me to believe not only did they try to rip me off, they didn't even complete the services he tried to charge me for. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

There wasn't anything wrong that stood out. A gouge on one of the tires but it wasn't bad and the tire is fine. The rest of the car is great. Mr. Hazen is the manager and handled the trade in with my son's car smoothly. So, I had written this review before the end of the sales and it's set up this way. I recommend waiting until all sales are final and here's why. We get to the last guy Mr. Laird and found out there's a tracker put into the car and you get charged just under $1500 for that. No choice. I didn't like that at all. We let it go since it was already in the car. Not right though.

Update: Tanner the sales manager (decent guy) stepped up and tried to make this right after being…read moreon the phone all day. They agreed to refund the full amount of the GAP insurance and Warranty we didn't want. He's agreed to provide a rental car and take the car into the shop and make repairs. Once this is done, money refunded, and the car has been fixed satisfactorily, I will update the overall rating. Warning (Do not buy a car at this dealership unless you want be harassed, scammed, and leave with a Branded title vehicle that doesn't meet any standards. Here are a couple of things to be aware of: 1) They will try to sell you a vehicle monitoring system that is $50 GPS tracking unit that is connected to your OBDII system. They wanted $1799 for it, and they say it can't be removed. It has two tabs to remove the unit in about 10 seconds; this was a complete lie. Don't Pay it! 2) They tried to add on a carbon credit fee of $200 which is code for a $40 emissions test. A 2025 car doesn't require an emissions test. This is another lie. 3) Branded cars have no manufactures warranty left, you have zero warranty on their cars. They will offer you a warranty and in my son's case they said it was $2,200 off but the contract was $4500 for a warranty, he thought it was $2200 total????? 4) The next morning after driving the car home he noticed the trunk was leaking, the taillights were full of moisture, and the trunk is out of alignment. We had an autobody tech look at it and he said there were numerous panels out of alignment and the car should not have left the shop. We went into the dealership Monday morning and asked to return the car and get our down payment back. They said it's his fault and he should have checked the vehicle (it was dark at night when he saw the car). This may be the worst car dealership in Utah and is by the least honest I've come across ever. You're better off going to Carmax or another dealer who stands behind their cars and doesn't lie to you the entire sales process. Run as fast as you can from here!

I made it clear I needed a reliable vehicle due to how much I drive, and at no point was I informed the vehicle's history was unknown or that it had prior damage. Shortly after purchase, the A/C stopped working during a road trip. When I took it to a Toyota dealership, I was informed the vehicle had previously been in a front-end accident--something that was never disclosed. I was also told the A/C system requires significant repairs, including replacement of major components. When I contacted the sales agent, Alan, I was told I "didn't ask for the Carfax" and was offered to split the repair cost. That response was unacceptable, especially given how the vehicle was represented. While one member of the service team was professional and helpful, the overall experience has been extremely disappointing. Based on what I've learned, I would not have purchased this vehicle had I been given accurate information. I strongly recommend doing your own inspection and research before buying from this dealership.

The state hadn't received any paperwork! Called EV auto and got a runaround, that they go through a "3rd party vendor" for titles and they didn't have it. I didn't buy the car from a 3rd party-- I bought it from you. EV express mailed me an extension tag, and when the title finally came in the salesman walked it into the DMV. So 3 stars for the recovery. However I'm certain that if I hadn't checked and kept following up, I would have been driving on an expired tag for who knows how long.

Both of the previous places we almost bought at lied to us, tried to rip us off, the whole lot. Finding my wife a good "mom car" had been an absolute nightmare. Then, we came to Hedberg Solomon. We were very wary when we got here, because of our experiences elsewhere. They were pretty busy when we showed up, but we told them what cars we were interested in, and they handed us the keys and let us go take a look on our own! When we were ready for a test drive, they just took a quick copy of my wife's driver's license and we went on our way! When we got back from our test drive, we got super friendly and courteous assistance applying for financing. He even went the extra mile and asked a credit union to match another's great rate! Everything went through swiftly and easily. I didn't get the guy's name that was helping us somehow.. but he was the nicest guy, possibly one of the owners? We were in and out in less than an hour. And it could have been even quicker. We probably took around a 20 minute test drive. I would return here in a heartbeat. Don't listen to the other review, if it was so bad to leave a 1 star review, don't you think he'd be a little more specific as to why HIS experience was so horrible? Next time I need a car, I will be checking here first.

Scam AF. Stay away. Bought a car from them. Seemed too…read moreseamless and too good to be true. Things looked good enough on a test drive. Defrost didn't work, AC only pushed out the center vents, check engine light came on the following morning after I took it home. Sunroof wasn't working (I knew that part) but then I found out the sun roof was leaking. they made me jump through a million hoops To try to get it to pass an emissions test, which that should have been handled by them before it was sold. replaced the catalytic converter multiple times with their mechanic jay's tire pros (They where nice but I believe jays is involved In fudging paperwork For soloman) They also had me on about 4 consecutive temporary PAPER plates (rear window had so much tint I had to deal with a paper plate on the outside of my car) then they said we can't get spend anymore money on a temporary plate and had me driving around with an expired plate out of my control. MVED should have these guys shut down.
