Well I've owned the car (2015 Q5- around $17,000) 4 months and have now had to dump $3000 into it - extended warranty is kind of a joke so read the documents carefully. I will say that the salesman Kaleb is extremely nice and has very good communication skills but I let them know I didn't know the car world- didn't want an unreliable car because my daughter would be driving it and they reassured me that they would trust their own daughter in it-- very disappointed and my son needs a car now - will definitely be going elsewhere read more

We found the Utah Auto Pros team (and our salesman Austin) really helpful in the car shopping, checking-out, purchase (priced very fairly compared to NADA values) and post-purchase touch-up-a-few-remaining-details process. (And like as anyone who has shopped at used car dealers knows, you can meet some shifty, ethical doozies, so it made UAP one of the nicer ones.) The car buying experience can have many outcomes, many of which end with buyers remorse or an experience that makes the buyer feel as if they were taken advantage. For my experience with Utah Auto Pros, I will say the only feeling I had was one of excitement to provide a 5 star review - because the experience was an absolute joy. I am an out of state buyer and had reservations about not being able to physically see the car. My first contact with Cameron started to put that aside - we arranged a time where he would do a video FaceTime session which allowed me to see the car - not just the great parts but the flaws as well. It was a used car and he took the time to show me the scratches, wear marks, and and anything that a buyer should be aware of. One we agreed to the price, Cameron allowed me to have a BMW mechanic do a pre-purchase inspection. I picked Wofford's which had the best reviews in the area for Euro cars, and Cameron drove the car 12 miles to drop the car. After receiving the report back, which validated how the car had been described in the listing, Cameron picked the car back up and we finalized the transaction. Docs were sent overnight delivery for signing, and wire transfer was effortless. Final requirement was to hold the car for transport - which took a few days for to arrange. Cameron and I were texting during the process and he was ready with the car - even when the truck was scheduled to arrive between 2-5p and it showed up at 10am. Cameron texted photos of the car being loaded on the truck. Final delivery - 2 days earlier than expected - only proved the car was as described. Final paperwork and title were delivered within a few days following. If you are considering a car from Utah Auto Pros, worry about the make, model and price, not the integrity of the team - they are true pros. read more

Sold us a Jeep, hid the key in the ignition , The jeep had some issues that I was willing to take care of but not the key when we got home we discovered the key was bent super bad and they did not provide another key for the Jeep. I asked about getting it fixed and they said they were off work that day but when they get back they would look for the other keys and provide a place for us to go under. Well they never did any of that, they basically blew me off called me childish and complained about me blowing up their phone with text messages when he said he was off work that morning he was the one that texted me 10 pm and bragged about moving into a new house. All I wanted was a new key provided now I have to go to the dealer and spend money right away. They hid the key condition by leaving it in the ignition. I though my wife was handed a second key set that was on his desk too, but nope. So I try to resolve nicely and they say I am the problem now. read more

I have read some of the good reviews for this dealership. I am glad that there are folks that have had good experiences with them. The car that we bought from them has been the worst car that we have ever owned, and it is not even close. First, they hid the fact that the key they gave us did not lock and unlock the car. They went and got it, pulled it around, then came out and met us, so that we would not try the lock and unlock function. I will take some ownership of that, because I did not try it, but they are in a sketchy part of town, no way they are not locking their cars. That was the best thing that happened to us. The aftermarket insurance they sold us is, according to the dealer that has had to fix multiple problems with car "the absolute worst car insurance they have ever seen." We have owned the car for about 2 years, we have had it at our house for about 3 months. We have an additional 7K into the car since we have had it. We literally have not had it long enough to sell it. Nor would I feel good about selling that car to anyone. There were multiple other things wrong with it, including some running lights that we missed, a few after market parts that were disguised that fell off and so forth. I have held off writing this review, because this is not really who I want to be, but this last incident broke the proverbial camel's back. I would not buy a car from this dealership. Unfortunately, my son was sold a Mini Cooper from this dealership. It lasted 3 days before smoke began to pour out through the air vents. In their defense, they had it towed up to their mechanic and had their mechanic replace a heater core part that was the culprit. However, just a few weeks later, we learn that the car needs a new clutch(about $2500) and has had either a turbo recirculation valve break or possibly the turbo fail($2800 more to replace). You buy a vehicle for $9k (after all the additional fees), and before you can drive it for a month, you have over $5,500 in repairs on top of the repairs they covered. All they say is that it ran well before we drove it off the lot. Beware of the huge gamble you take when buying a used car. Maybe they knew, maybe they didn't. Seems odd a clutch would go out after a few weeks of driving. To make matters worse- when I called Auto Pros of Utah to ask what could be done, they suggested we trade it in to "Maybe a big dealer that wouldn't take the time to look over the current issues. Just a thought." That's the exact quote that I said sounded dishonest. I'll let you, the consumer decide! read more

My son purchased his first car here on May 9th. We normally wouldn't drive all the way up to Bountiful from Utah County for a car, but liked the car and the interaction with the staff was good, so we went and looked. The car appeared in good condition, test drive fine, however I felt the clutch felt slippy, when I asked about it, I was told it was in great condition had been looked at by their mechanic and had no issues. For that reason they wouldn't come down in price. Three days after the purchase, the heater core went out. They did tow it from our mechanic and fix that. They had it for five days. When we got it back, the check engine light came on within a day and the clutch began making a wierd sound. We told our son to not really drive it till we could have it checked, and he had a surgery the first week of June and couldn't drive it. We took it too the mechanics on the 11th (soonest they had opening) and were told the clutch needed to be replaced ($2,800) and the turbo ($2,500). Collectively in repairs this is as much as we purchased the car for. When we called the dealership manager Cameron to inform him, he said basically "that sucks" and then text my husband "...thinking about this I wonder if it would be best to just go trade that car in somewhere for something different. Maybe a big dealer that wouldn't take the time to look over the current issues...". This really let us know the quality and honesty of the dealership. Very disappointing. My son made his first car payment 5 days after on a car he can't drive and won't be able to for sometime, and their solution was "Go screw over someone else like we did you." read more
