They talk…read moreinto getting their package where you get free rotation and free tire repairs or replacements and roadside assistance and all this other stuff, but they dont know what the heck they are doing. I have never had any tire place mess up on the balancing of tires. They messed up in the initial visit and I had to get them rebalance 3 months later and I only drive 12 miles a day to and from work. I took it back and had an "appointment" at 830 am it took them 4 hours for me to call them and ask the status. The "manager" said it would be another 30min to an hour until it was ready since they were test driving my car. They also use your vehicles for shuttle services. Because I knew this I asked them not to do that and the manager got mad and sternly said they are not using my vehicle for shuttle service and all of a sudden a couple of minutes later my car was done! I picked up my car and it was worst than when I dropped it off. I went back, picked up the tech and had him ride with me. Then the manager tried to say it was my breaks when 2 weeks prior I had just taken it to the actual GENESIS dealer and they had told me my breaks were fine for several months. Then he said it was the roter. He said I had to leave it again because he was working on another car. I became very upset and told them they had to take care of it NOW because I had an appointment and they did not fix the issue and made it worst. They realized the new tires that were given to me 3 months prior had a bump and that was causing the issue. The manager was supposed to call me on Monday and I had to call them on Wednesday to get a status. They said the tires were just order and delivered Tuesday but didnt think to give me a call even after being opened for 3 hours. Luis gave me a phone number to submit my complaint which is another things the "manager" didnt care to give me when I told him I will be filing a complaint. I am not happy with these services and I have reported them to the BAR.

Went to Andy's because he was the highest rated tire shop near me. He was busy with 3 cars when I came, but he still took a moment to greet me and when his hands were free, he came over to find out what I needed. He offered me the tires he had in stock that fit my car. He wasn't able to source used OEM wheels for my car, but he told me if I needed the exact tires for me car, I could get my wheels and tires and bring them there, and he would install them. He even shared where I can get them for a good deal. So a few days later, I returned with new wheels and new tires. Of course Andy was busy with two cars, but he got to me fairly quickly. Long story short, Andy masterfully installed my new wheels and tires and even prepared my old wheels and the barely salvageable 2 tires for me to take home (I might try to sell some and maybe keep some as backups). I stopped by to have air put in my tires--nothing more. While checking them, the employee noticed a nail and told me he could patch it for $45 plus a tip. That immediately seemed excessive, as tire repairs are typically much less expensive. I politely declined and said I'd discuss it with my husband before making a decision. As I was leaving, he stopped me and told me I needed to give him a tip because he had put air in my tires. I was completely caught off guard. In all the years I've been coming here, I've never been charged for air, let alone asked for a tip afterward. I could understand paying for an actual repair or service, but putting air in tires is something many shops do as a courtesy. To avoid an argument, I gave him $5, but then he told me it wasn't enough and that he deserved more because of the labor involved. While I usually love going to America's Tires [AT](typically at the Pasadena branch), we had a…read moreterrible experience at the Glendora branch. My wife visited the store because we had bad vibration at high speed with our Tesla Model Y. I specifically told her to let the mechanics know that I suspect that vibrations were caused by loose foam within our EV tires. The mechanics (multiple staff members) completely dismissed my wife and said that loose foam was unlikely to be the cause for vibration. They proceeded to try everything else (alignment and balancing). Anything but what my wife told them was my main suspicion. While I am glad AT provides free alignment and balancing, they simply ignored our concern and treated my wife's suggestion as unreasonable. It was frustrating that they wouldn't make any attempt to remove the tires from the wheel to check for loose foam. As it happens, the vibration continued after getting our tires realigned and rebalanced by AT. When we visited another local tire shops for further inspection, they found that 2 of 4 tires had loose foams, just as I had suspected. When the mechanics detached the tires from the wheels, it was very clear 2 tires' foam were completely detached. Not sure if its laziness, ignorance about EV tires, or subconscious sexism, the staff at Glendora AT should listen to their customers more and be more attentive and thorough in their inspection, especially when a customer provides a very specific and clear instruction to a potential issue.
