There is simply no better place around to get tires. Been coming here for years. The prices are reasonable, the service is outstanding and the time frame is usually prompt especially with an appointment (and when it's not, that's because they are understandably Jammed up). We all know this... But the true measure of a business is how they treat you when something goes wrong and it's their fault (which is very rare to happen here but it did in my case). They stepped up, took ownership and went the extra mile to make it right immediately without question. That's good old fashioned customer service, which is so hard to find these days. Shout out to Anthony and the whole crew, you guys and gals all rock! Keep it up! read more

While I usually love going to America's Tires [AT](typically at the Pasadena branch), we had a terrible experience at the Glendora branch. My wife visited the store because we had bad vibration at high speed with our Tesla Model Y. I specifically told her to let the mechanics know that I suspect that vibrations were caused by loose foam within our EV tires. The mechanics (multiple staff members) completely dismissed my wife and said that loose foam was unlikely to be the cause for vibration. They proceeded to try everything else (alignment and balancing). Anything but what my wife told them was my main suspicion. While I am glad AT provides free alignment and balancing, they simply ignored our concern and treated my wife's suggestion as unreasonable. It was frustrating that they wouldn't make any attempt to remove the tires from the wheel to check for loose foam. As it happens, the vibration continued after getting our tires realigned and rebalanced by AT. When we visited another local tire shops for further inspection, they found that 2 of 4 tires had loose foams, just as I had suspected. When the mechanics detached the tires from the wheels, it was very clear 2 tires' foam were completely detached. Not sure if its laziness, ignorance about EV tires, or subconscious sexism, the staff at Glendora AT should listen to their customers more and be more attentive and thorough in their inspection, especially when a customer provides a very specific and clear instruction to a potential issue. read more

Alex 'helped'. What good is an appointment when you have to wait in line just to get assistance. Appt at 5:30. I walk in at 5:38. Two people in front of me. I get seen at 5:44. I've been coming here for a while, for the most part it's been solid. The online ordering is convenient. Recently, I've noticed they have been losing my tire caps. They lose about one per visit, very annoying. read more

I had always like America's tire and had went through two sets of tires with them. My usual store was the one in Costa Mesa but that changed since I moved out OC. I found this location to be less busy than the W Covina location as it's always easy to find parking right in front! I got my new tires about a year ago with them but this time I just need a rotation and the balancing after a 5k + road trip ! They quote me a time but it was fine much faster than expected, the best? Unlike other location, they drive your car and park it right in front of the door like VIP!!! I was told come back for service after another 6000 miles and they also check the tire pressure and everything was OK, the staffs had always been so friendly If you are not good at checking tire pressure occasionally like me, it's better let the professionals handle it ! read more

Just wanted to come on and say thank u so much to Anthony and the rest of the crew ! I absolutely had a car show I needed to be at and needed good budget wheels asap after I' spent 4k on custom wheels that won't be here for another month ! I ended up getting the dr 69s and i couldn't be happier with em ! I also paired them with a Goodyear eagle f1 tire and they look great! They even pointed out a very small basically unnoticeable scratch that most places would have brushed off Thank u again ! Definitely come here with any cars needs ! read more

They are great when it comes to installing tires. But clearly lack knowledge when it comes to putting air in the tire. No one reads the tire anymore for manufacturer recommendation. And your tires end up under inflated. They end up under inflating your tire and this ruins your gas miles and your tires. Make sure they are filling your tire correctly. read more

Poor service!!! Poor diagnostics!! The sales person told me I had a bad sensor and I "paid". They said it was going to be 2 hours wait. I'm @ a tire place nearby and the sensor + installation is half price!!! ***ON TOP OF THE POOR SERVICE AND WRONG PROBLEM THERE'S a nail in the middle of the tire. It wasn't a sensor!!!! I've been gong there for a long time. Bought my Corvette tires and Lexus tires!!! I called back to speak with Alex and the employee at the tire shop was listening to the entire conversation when Alex told me there was NO screw/nail? When we can see the screw in the tire. And, he mentioned that the tire had the correct pressure when it was showing 29 psi. That's why the light was on!!! You're WRONG!!! You just need to bend over and check the tire!!! read more

Been going here for years. These guys do a great job! Highly recommend it. Service is great! The staff is friendly.

Do not come here. They are so slow. And do not update you on your vehicle. Got here at 10 am for a wheel alignment. Was told there was 4 vehicles in front of me. Tell me how it takes 4 hours + every time I asked for ETA they could never tell me. I have my 2 kids with me have not had breakfast. I was told to go in it would be quick. Horrible way they run this . After 4 hours they tell me they suggest dropping off vehicle. Why wasn't I told that on the phone when I called if I could go in?? read more

Came in today because I had a big nail in my tire and Alex the manager was very helpful. He was extremely informative and he was so quick to offer us many options. The facility itself is convenient and located off the 210 freeway off of grand Avenue easily confused with another nearby tire shop. So make sure you get the right one next to sprouts. All the staff was kind and very helpful read more

I've never had a bad experience here and customer service has been amazing. I had an appointment at 12:15pm but had to wait for a bit since they were handling customers in store and over the phone as well. They were quick to acknowledge/apologize for the wait and honestly I didn't mind bc I can tell they were very busy. I was super appreciative of Manuel A for helping me out quickly when he could. I always appreciate how quick and fast the service is here. read more

The customer service has declined very significantly in this location, had an appointment for 11:45am and got there on time. I was greeted by Hugo. E He told me to sit down and wait for someone to assist me. I was sitting for more than 20 minutes and no one acknowledged me at all so I got up and told Manny at the front desk that I've been waiting for a long time and no one had come and help me even after the fact I had an appointment. So he started helping me right away. Very unprofessional service. Had to wait an hour extra just to get my tires rotated and balanced. They even put the wrong PSI in my tires. I will be contacting corporate to make sure they get hold accountable because these type of mistakes can lead to an accident. If you value your time and expect good customer service, this place is not for you. Take your business elsewhere where they actually respect your time and money I've been a customer for years and always picked America's Tire because of the service they used to provide which used to be really good. Not anymore. Very disappointed with the staff and customer service. read more

I'm gonna be honest..... I've never waited 20 mins in line just to be told at the counter I had to wait another hour to get my tire patched up.... It was little frustrating. I went across the street to tire zone and got it patched up for free in less than 5 minutes... The wait was so insane on a Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm... Idk if I would come back left a salty feeling Maybe bc they are a franchise it's busy but I guess I rather support smaller businesses instead. Plus I bet this place charges for a tire patch... I'm not sure Not trying to put down the employees but I didn't enjoy my time here at all read more

I'm really disappointed with my experience at America's Tire. About 10 months ago, I purchased Goodyear Eagle Touring tires here. I've put roughly 15,000 miles on them, and when I brought the car in, I was told they're already near the wear bars. That's extremely premature for a tire that was recommended to me. When I asked about it, I was told these are OEM tires and essentially have no meaningful warranty, and that it's not unusual for them to last as little as 10,000-15,000 miles. That raises a bigger issue: if that's the case, why were these recommended in the first place without clearly explaining the expected lifespan? As a customer, I rely on the shop to recommend products that balance performance, safety, and durability, not something that needs replacement in under a year of normal driving. Being told "that's just how OEM tires are" after the fact feels like a sales-first approach rather than customer-first. I've always considered America's Tire my go-to, but this experience has changed that. Going forward, I'll be taking my business elsewhere because it feels like a shift toward sales over customer care at America's Tire. read more

Management: What's the point of an appointment if you still have to wait in line with everyone else that doesn't have an appointment? I had an 11:45 appointment, I arrived at 11:30. I was helped at 11:55. Other than that, they do good work. read more

EVERYONE at this location is top notch. They are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was even more impressed this visit, that they now employee a female technician! She did everything! Every aspect of removing, replacing, balancing and installing the tires. She did it all. I did not see her name, but I watched her work on my vehicle and when she had a problem, another associate helped seamlessly. Teamwork I spoke with the manager, I spoke with another client, I enjoyed my time. The other client was having his Porsche tires replaced and we both praised the employees on their knowledge of working on that car specifically. Great job, great service, great people. Thank you all! The price quoted didn't change and I was able to pay for it ask online. I wasn't up-sold on anything but was informed that they had other services for the next time. Not just a tire shop, America's Tire should write a book on great customer service! It almost feels like a bygone era but it's super refreshing and I want that level of service everywhere I go! Friendly faces greeting you, prompt service, well trained people, employees dressed in branded gear looking sharp, in person and online and app options that all work seamlessly, carefully thought through customer experience, great deals, amazing service, honest and trustworthy operations... I can go on! I've had new tires on our old VW and our Tesla. Recently one of the new Tesla tires hit road construction debris and leaked so bad that fix a flat didn't work. I had it towed in and when we arrived in the town truck the AT employee was already standing outside with a clipboard ready to take care of me. The app tees him off on our arrival time - brilliant. They said it would be a little over an hour as it was last minute they saw me - so I walked to Coffee Bean and Tea leaf next door but got a text less and 40 minutes later! Done! And, best yet it was zero cost for the new tire! Only had to re-up the warranty for $50. When I first brought it in, they had an a-frame sign as shown in the pic welcoming me in. On another recent visit I brought in some old tires from our project car, a 74 FJ40. They removed the tires for us and now I'm going to have them mount new ones as we just finished restoring the rims. Highest marks to America's Tire, their corporate leadership, their local management and every staff member. A 5 on Yelp doesn't do them justice. I'd double it to a 10! Wish there was a special category here just for that! Among the best customer service companies I've ever encountered. Side note, I previously ran a marketing agency that won awards for loyalty and retention marketing - doing corporate level strategy for customer service - so I don't say any of this lightly. Thanks America's Tire! I hope other companies take notice of you and your methods. Our country needs a revival in customer service and you certainly lead the way. read more

Very pleased with their service. Alex the manager was very helpful. He helped me with a warranty situation. And got me in and out FAST. We have a lot of good tire stores in Glendora and Covina. I recently took my care into the dealership for service. While I pulled up into the dealership lot, a nail punctured my rear driver side tire. The dealership did not offer patching services, but did recommend this Americas Tire: I drove my vehicle slowly over there - as the tire was still leaking. The dealership filled it up max for me to make the trip there. I got to the America's Tire and parked, as I got out of my car, an employee had come out and greeted me as soon as I stepped out of my car. I explained that there was a puncture in my tire and he said they can take a look at it for me. He took some info from the vehicle and had me wait. He gave me an ETA of 90 mins, they seemed somewhat busy at the time. My car was pulled into the work area after some time and the dealership had marked the tire so they would be able to find the puncture easily (see photo). The employees seemed to be having fun working there - the music was pumping, there was dancing, singing and laughing. They seemed to be having a good day! Puncture was plugged in minutes and the wheel was balanced and mounted back on. Best part about this. - they do this all for free! YES, FREE!!!!!!!!!! No charge - you can give them a tip if you'd like. Next time I'm in the market for tires, I will be shopping at Americas Tire! read more

I pulled in for the complimentary air service as my low tire light came on. This happens once in awhile. Why did your employee declare my two front tires were sooo bald she couldn't check them or fill them with air? Is this a new scare tactic to push your sales up? I have no problem with a recommendation that I need new tires...but dont appreciate the scare tactics. Costco had no problem checking or filling my tires. read more

I had my tires replaced and at the time of purchase, I asked for an alignment as well. It turns out that I needed to have some repairs done before they could do the alignment. I thought I could get that taken care of quickly, but it's taken longer than I thought. I called America's Tire and asked if they would take off the charge for the alignment that they didn't do. They refused to do so over the phone. Now I've got to take time off again to go get them to take off a charge for work they didn't do. I can't stand when companies make you take time out of your day to fulfill the hoops that you have to jump through get a refund. I have no complaints about the tires or the work that they did though, so I gave them two stars. read more

Horrid customer service! I would give 0 stars if I could. We came in no one greeted us, we waited while employees talked amongst themselves. We walked out after a few minutes. We had gone back out to look at something on my car since we were tired of waiting with no one seeming to be interested in helping us. Just as we were about to go back in for one more attempt an employee (Jonas) finally came out and asked if we needed help. He proceeded to explain an extremely demeaning way about how I needed to get all four tires even though the two in the front had plenty of tread left because in his opinion, they were not safe, even though they were. If you're a woman definitely do not come here doesn't matter how much knowledge you have. They will try to tell you that you don't know anything. I tried to tell him that I knew exactly what I wanted and I just wanted to replace the back two tires because the tread in the front was fine. It was an entire argument outside, and then we went inside. He proceeded to show me on the board, even though he had already shown me on his tablet outside the level of the tire was so therefore, I was going to need to replace all of them. Then when we went to the register to go over pricing, he said you seem annoyed. It's like duh of course I'm annoyed. You literally have from the moment we walked in here. Had zero customer service skills and continuously told me that I can't just purchase the tires. I wanna purchase and move on with my day, buying tire should never read this much of a headache. Needless to say I left I did not purchase anything, which is sad because I have always used America's tires before in the past. Almost every single one of my cars has tires from there, but I will definitely never go to this location ever again. read more

Went to this shop late this morning Told them my issue with a front tire . Spare which I wanted to change wheels . The original tire having a foreign object in the outer tread. They said 90 minutes! They told me my car would be ready in about 2 1/2 hours at 2 PM. I came back at 1:45 and it had not been touched and was in the same parking spot I left it in. These fat cholo looking dudes took my whole day and gave me bad information along with shitty smug service. Don't go to this branch, paid $550+ for two tires. read more

Be aware . Your tire warranty doesn't matter here. I got air in my tires here. Was told I was in the yellow zone and needed new tires. How could that be? Tires barely had 20k miles and barely 3 yrs old. Had something in one of my tires. Wouldn't fix it because they said my tread was at 4/32 and wasn't safe. Seriously! So then I'm being told I need all new tires. Asked about prorated and was told no because tires weren't rotated and balanced there. Why should it matter where tires get rotated at. So now my Goodyear tires that I paid for extra on and had rotated will not be covered. This is BS had 20k that wasn't even close to tire life. I'm sure they will charge full price for tires and still get something back from Goodyear. When you read the warranty from Goodyear and America tire it doesn't add up. I bought extra coverage and it makes no difference. America tire trying to make more money. A guy next to me complaining about a bad tire too and they told him to buy new too and he had a warranty and he said not covered . If you want to be taken advantage of come here. I will be going elsewhere and have complained to Goodyear about their tire. read more

My family has bought tires from America's Tire for over 30 years. It's always been a great experience until now. We knew the tires would not be in and so we went to the store on a Saturday to simply order the tires and make an appointment to have them installed when they arrive. It took over two hours to simply purchase tires and make an appointment. They also sold us on an alignment, which seemed reasonable. When we returned to have the tires installed -- with an appointment-- it took another 2 hours to get them installed. Then another 30 minutes for the alignment. This is inexcusable. They do not have a system that serves the customer. Apparently they've gotten to the point that they don't care about anything but sales. This is the last time we use AT. I'll be advocating against them from now on. read more

Usually great... But not this time. I spent $3500 on new rims and tires, lug nuts, alignment, warranty, etc. I set up an appointment once everything came in. I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early and was told it would be ready in an hour. Two hours later, they pulled it out And I thought I was finished and ready to go. I walked outside and the tech told me it still needed to have the alignment done. So I said OK and went back into wait. He said I was next in line. When the car in front of me left the alignment rack, I waited for my truck to be pulled in, and 10 minutes later I went to the dust to ask why it wasn't. They went to check and said the guy that does alignments went to lunch and it would be at least 45 minutes. Not cool. If I knew it was gonna be a three hour job, I definitely would've gone home rather than waiting in the store. I hope this is an isolated incident and not a trend of declining customer service. More to add: I returned today to get the alignment done at 3 o'clock. It got on the rack by 3:30 and I'm still sitting here at 6:30. Alignment usually takes an hour to an hour and a half for four wheels. They close at six, yet here I wait. What happened?! America's tire used to be so good! OK, this is the last addition, I promise. The manager, Alex, was very interested in making sure everything is right. It's the best they can do to eliminate the little shimmy the steering wheel has on the freeway.
