There is simply no better place around to get tires. Been coming here for years. The prices are reasonable, the service is outstanding and the time frame is usually prompt especially with an appointment (and when it's not, that's because they are understandably Jammed up). We all know this... But the true measure of a business is how they treat you when something goes wrong and it's their fault (which is very rare to happen here but it did in my case). They stepped up, took ownership and went the extra mile to make it right immediately without question. That's good old fashioned customer service, which is so hard to find these days. The customer service has declined very significantly in this location, had an appointment for 11:45am and got there on time. I was greeted by Hugo. E He told me to sit down and wait for someone to assist me. I was sitting for more than 20 minutes and no one acknowledged me at all so I got up and told Manny at the front desk that I've been waiting for a long time and no one had come and help me even after the fact I had an appointment. So he started helping me right away. Very unprofessional service. Had to wait an hour extra just to get my tires rotated and balanced. They even put the wrong PSI in my tires. I will be contacting corporate to make sure they get hold accountable because these type of mistakes can lead to an accident. If you value your time and expect good customer service, this place is not for you. I'm really disappointed with my experience at America's Tire. About 10 months ago, I purchased Goodyear Eagle Touring tires here. I've put roughly 15,000 miles on them, and when I brought the car in, I was told they're already near the wear bars. That's extremely premature for a tire that was recommended to me. When I asked about it, I was told these are OEM tires and essentially have no meaningful warranty, and that it's not unusual for them to last as little as 10,000-15,000 miles. That raises a bigger issue: if that's the case, why were these recommended in the first place without clearly explaining the expected lifespan? As a customer, I rely on the shop to recommend products that balance performance, safety, and durability, not something that needs replacement in under a year of normal driving. Being told "that's just how OEM tires are" after the fact feels like a sales-first approach rather than customer-first. I've always considered America's Tire my go-to, but this experience has changed that. Going forward, I'll be taking my business elsewhere because it feels like a shift toward sales over customer care at America's Tire. read more

I had always like America's tire and had went through two sets of tires with them. My usual store was the one in Costa Mesa but that changed since I moved out OC. I found this location to be less busy than the W Covina location as it's always easy to find parking right in front! I got my new tires about a year ago with them but this time I just need a rotation and the balancing after a 5k + road trip ! They quote me a time but it was fine much faster than expected, the best? Unlike other location, they drive your car and park it right in front of the door like VIP!!! I was told come back for service after another 6000 miles and they also check the tire pressure and everything was OK, the staffs had always been so friendly If you are not good at checking tire pressure occasionally like me, it's better let the professionals handle it ! read more

Why did your employee declare my two front tires were sooo bald she couldn't check them or fill them with air? Is this a new scare tactic to push your sales up? I went across the street to tire zone and got it patched up for free in less than 5 minutes... The wait was so insane on a Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm... Horrid customer service! I would give 0 stars if I could. We came in no one greeted us, we waited while employees talked amongst themselves. We walked out after a few minutes. We had gone back out to look at something on my car since we were tired of waiting with no one seeming to be interested in helping us. Just as we were about to go back in for one more attempt an employee (Jonas) finally came out and asked if we needed help. He proceeded to explain an extremely demeaning way about how I needed to get all four tires even though the two in the front had plenty of tread left because in his opinion, they were not safe, even though they were. If you're a woman definitely do not come here doesn't matter how much knowledge you have. They will try to tell you that you don't know anything. I tried to tell him that I knew exactly what I wanted and I just wanted to replace the back two tires because the tread in the front was fine. It was an entire argument outside, and then we went inside. He proceeded to show me on the board, even though he had already shown me on his tablet outside the level of the tire was so therefore, I was going to need to replace all of them. Then when we went to the register to go over pricing, he said you seem annoyed. It's like duh of course I'm annoyed. You literally have from the moment we walked in here. Had zero customer service skills and continuously told me that I can't just purchase the tires. I wanna purchase and move on with my day, buying tire should never read this much of a headache. Needless to say I left I did not purchase anything, which is sad because I have always used America's tires before in the past. They told me my car would be ready in about 2 1/2 hours at 2 PM. I came back at 1:45 and it had not been touched and was in the same parking spot I left it in. EVERYONE at this location is top notch. They are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was even more impressed this visit, that they now employee a female technician! She did everything! Every aspect of removing, replacing, balancing and installing the tires. She did it all. I did not see her name, but I watched her work on my vehicle and when she had a problem, another associate helped seamlessly. Teamwork I spoke with the manager, I spoke with another client, I enjoyed my time. The other client was having his Porsche tires replaced and we both praised the employees on their knowledge of working on that car specifically. Great job, great service, great people. Thank you all! Malfunction light went on moment i got my car from same wheel well they replaced . Beware if you love your car. Manager avoided my calls and denied my claims . Not just a tire shop, America's Tire should write a book on great customer service! It almost feels like a bygone era but it's super refreshing and I want that level of service everywhere I go! Friendly faces greeting you, prompt service, well trained people, employees dressed in branded gear looking sharp, in person and online and app options that all work seamlessly, carefully thought through customer experience, great deals, amazing service, honest and trustworthy operations... I can go on! I've had new tires on our old VW and our Tesla. Recently one of the new Tesla tires hit road construction debris and leaked so bad that fix a flat didn't work. I had it towed in and when we arrived in the town truck the AT employee was already standing outside with a clipboard ready to take care of me. The app tees him off on our arrival time - brilliant. They said it would be a little over an hour as it was last minute they saw me - so I walked to Coffee Bean and Tea leaf next door but got a text less and 40 minutes later! Done! And, best yet it was zero cost for the new tire! Only had to re-up the warranty for $50. When I first brought it in, they had an a-frame sign as shown in the pic welcoming me in. On another recent visit I brought in some old tires from our project car, a 74 FJ40. They removed the tires for us and now I'm going to have them mount new ones as we just finished restoring the rims. Highest marks to America's Tire, their corporate leadership, their local management and every staff member. A 5 on Yelp doesn't do them justice. I'd double it to a 10! Wish there was a special category here just for that! Among the best customer service companies I've ever encountered. Side note, I previously ran a marketing agency that won awards for loyalty and retention marketing - doing corporate level strategy for customer service - so I don't say any of this lightly. Went to this shop late this morning Told them my issue with a front tire . Spare which I wanted to change wheels . The original tire having a foreign object in the outer tread. They said 90 minutes! Nope less than 45. Best customer service. I've been to this shop multiple times , with all my autos and their tire needs. Always have I been given frank and honest service. I had my tires replaced and at the time of purchase, I asked for an alignment as well. It turns out that I needed to have some repairs done before they could do the alignment. I thought I could get that taken care of quickly, but it's taken longer than I thought. I called America's Tire and asked if they would take off the charge for the alignment that they didn't do. They refused to do so over the phone. Now I've got to take time off again to go get them to take off a charge for work they didn't do. I can't stand when companies make you take time out of your day to fulfill the hoops that you have to jump through get a refund. I recently took my care into the dealership for service. While I pulled up into the dealership lot, a nail punctured my rear driver side tire. The dealership did not offer patching services, but did recommend this Americas Tire: I drove my vehicle slowly over there - as the tire was still leaking. The dealership filled it up max for me to make the trip there. I got to the America's Tire and parked, as I got out of my car, an employee had come out and greeted me as soon as I stepped out of my car. I explained that there was a puncture in my tire and he said they can take a look at it for me. He took some info from the vehicle and had me wait. He gave me an ETA of 90 mins, they seemed somewhat busy at the time. My car was pulled into the work area after some time and the dealership had marked the tire so they would be able to find the puncture easily (see photo). The employees seemed to be having fun working there - the music was pumping, there was dancing, singing and laughing. They seemed to be having a good day! Puncture was plugged in minutes and the wheel was balanced and mounted back on. Best part about this. - they do this all for free! YES, FREE!!!!!!!!!! No charge - you can give them a tip if you'd like. Next time I'm in the market for tires, I will be shopping at Americas Tire! read more

My family has bought tires from America's Tire for over 30 years. It's always been a great experience until now. We knew the tires would not be in and so we went to the store on a Saturday to simply order the tires and make an appointment to have them installed when they arrive. It took over two hours to simply purchase tires and make an appointment. They also sold us on an alignment, which seemed reasonable. When we returned to have the tires installed -- with an appointment-- it took another 2 hours to get them installed. Then another 30 minutes for the alignment. This is inexcusable. They do not have a system that serves the customer. Apparently they've gotten to the point that they don't care about anything but sales. This is the last time we use AT. I recently purchased my second set of tires through the Glendora store of Americas Tire. Both times, I had an appointment and was in and out within the time promised. My second set was purchased about ten days ago and because I had another appointment, I didn't have time to have them do an alignment check. (I've owned this vehicle since new for 3 years and haven't had the alignment checked in that time). I went in early this morning and was the first in line for the alignment rack. After a short while, I told by the tech. that the readings showed I didn't need an alignment and that they would refund my card in full. (you pay at time of write up) . He went over the reading printout and I saw that all wheels were "in the green". I did notice that although the front tires were in the green on the "toe", one tire was within specs, but the other was about .01degree of being out of spec in the opposite direction (the next pothole would have knocked it out). I then asked the tech. to perform the alignment in order to bring the front toe readings closer together since I had just come off a road trip to the central coast and I could feel the difference at higher speeds on the 101 fwy. The tech. did a great job in doing this and I was able to feel the difference on the way home. I don't write many yelp reviews, but I felt that this one was in order based on previous prompt service as well as the tech. and service writer being honest and telling me that based on the readings I didn't need an alignment and willingness to refund my money. read more

Usually great... But not this time. I spent $3500 on new rims and tires, lug nuts, alignment, warranty, etc. I set up an appointment once everything came in. I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early and was told it would be ready in an hour. Two hours later, they pulled it out And I thought I was finished and ready to go. I walked outside and the tech told me it still needed to have the alignment done. So I said OK and went back into wait. He said I was next in line. When the car in front of me left the alignment rack, I waited for my truck to be pulled in, and 10 minutes later I went to the dust to ask why it wasn't. They went to check and said the guy that does alignments went to lunch and it would be at least 45 minutes. Not cool. If I knew it was gonna be a three hour job, I definitely would've gone home rather than waiting in the store. I hope this is an isolated incident and not a trend of declining customer service. More to add: I returned today to get the alignment done at 3 o'clock. It got on the rack by 3:30 and I'm still sitting here at 6:30. Alignment usually takes an hour to an hour and a half for four wheels. They close at six, yet here I wait. What happened?! America's tire used to be so good! OK, this is the last addition, I promise. The manager, Alex, was very interested in making sure everything is right. It's the best they can do to eliminate the little shimmy the steering wheel has on the freeway. I may end up having to take it to a specialty tire and wheel shop that focuses on trucks. I'm a bit disappointed that the wheels and tires I got have been so difficult, but I will say Alex and his team did everything they could to try and make it right. read more

Been a customer in this location for a while, never have any problems. Their crew are are pretty much on point. Always good if you have an appointment which you can do online. Usually really busy on weekends so if you have time in weekdays it's better to prevent waiting times, good location you can wait or walk around the area to grab food or coffee. Service is excellent based on my experience from tire Rotation rebalancing. Customer service is excellent they inform you if they are running behind and friendly too. They are honest and let you know what the real deal with your tires if you need to get a new one or you can extend a little for the next tire rotation and balancing. Hi everyone. I know this is a long review but please read this before going here. It'll save you money, time, and the future headache. Okay, let me start this review with the fact that my whole family and I have been purchasing tires from here for many years. I can over look the rising prices and the extra charges... but damaging my car and the way it was handled is just wrong and none of my family members or I will be coming back. (We've bought over 10 full sets of tires plus multiple spares and extras). I brought my car in to get 2 new tires and a rotation last Thursday. I called and made an appointment the day before. The man on the phone told me a completely different price quote than when I showed up to my appointment the following day. It was well over $100 more than the previous quote I was given for the same exact tires.. I made no changes.. okay thats annoying but let's continue. I would never have known that they completely stripped my lug nut and post if I didn't plan on changing my break fluid when I brought it home... So off go my wheels to drain the fluid and my rear driver wheel wont come off due to the lug nut and post being completely stripped. Not to mention the wheel cover was placed AFTER the lugs were put on... luckily it didn't crack or fall off on the drive home. (The wheel cover goes on first so the lugs keep it in place) So after finishing up with the break fluid my dad and I take the car back and complain. The worker that ringed me up earlier in the day was rolling his eyes at us. But I ignore him and talk to someone else. I receive a voucher to take my car to a different shop 20 minutes away (Break Masters in Pomona) and they'll fix it for free. Okay so what I heard there was "waste a day of your life getting a repair done on something we know we broke on your car and DIDN'T TELL YOU, because we thought you weren't going to check." Keep in mind this is the 3rd car they have done this to in my family... I should have gotten that tire for free seeing how much time this is taking. I'm a very busy person that barely had time to take my car in to get the tires in the first place. The amount of time/gas/money it is taking me to get this repaired is beyond messed up. So here we go, I had to drop my car off at this shop that doesn't take appointments and of course it's going to be "at least 2 hours." So here I am having to PAY for an uber home and back there again. More time and money wasted yet again. I never received a sorry or an offer for a refund or discount or anything for my troubles. Bonus Story: I'd like to add that years ago I went to the North Hollywood location once when I had a rim leak due to shotty installation from this Glendora location. The man working the desk refused to check for a rim leak and insisted it wasn't possible by just looking at the tire.. Curious if it was because I'm a woman, I then had my father bring it in and ask them to check, just like I did. Of course they didn't argue with a man and checked. No surprise to anyone there was a rim leak. Needless to say DO NOT COME HERE if you care about your car and your time. read more

I came here to try to get my tire patched. I heard they do it free so I figured why not. Came in and told me they wouldn't be able to do it for another 4 hours because I didn't have an appointment, which was fine. I left and came back. Then when I came back and they looked at my tire they told me the tire could not be patched and I would have to buy a new one. I chose not to, but they took my spare off and put the same tire that needed a patch back on? The tire that was leaking air, made no sense at all. Not only did they do that but they also scratched the entirety of the lip of my wheel. I went somewhere else and paid to have my wheel patched.
