I have had my nails done here for three years The owner is the best I get almond nails and they last three weeks and do not break The women are not as good at the nails as the gentlemen but they are excellent at pedicures ! They have been doing my acrylics for months and I ended up getting a nail fungus. The reason this happens is because they are LAZY and don't apply the acrylic correctly and allow air bubbles. this happens when you rush the process and are careless. Lack luster pedicure experience. Save your bux and opt out of deluxe!! Great place if you're looking for a fast pedi sans massage. Waiting to see if the gel stays on...nice people, but clearly they prefer quantity over quality. Overall the place was clean but just not the pedicure place for me. I don't believe I will be coming back to this salon. I've been 3 times now for a fill on my nails. The shop appears to be clean, so that's not that problem. The problem I'm having is with the gentleman that was doing my nails. I always go to the same person, so this gentleman has done my fill 3 times now. Every time he has burned me with the dremel and he has cut me on several fingers with the file or the buffer. My fingers are so swollen. I'm am not happy. Before my disability and my forced retirement I was a fully licensed cosmetologist. I was very good and had a very full clientele. I've done nails before and there is no reason anyone should be leaving a salon in that condition. Still, he charged me full price. I paid it and told him thank you because that's the polite thing to do but, I probably won't be going back! You've been warned!!! read more

Worst nail salon I have ever went to. I asked for gel nails and the lady tried to keep up selling me to get a pedicure. I asked the price and I didn't like her up-sale answer. She told me a few minutes later I will give you a lower price. I also declined her price. She asked me again.... I finally said NO!! I DO NOT want a pedicure. So she then persists on other waxing/paraffin hand service. I had no idea what she was telling me. After I left I found she did not have the outside edges of my nails completely finished with gel. I came here a few days ago without an appointment and I felt cared for. They were on top of their sanitation and ensured safety for both myself and their employees. This is a place right next to Fred Meyer so it's fun to people watch as you're getting your nails done. The pedicure chairs are super comfy & the staff is nice enough. I use to come here all the time my fav place to go to in town - I use to see Cindy and Lee they were both wonderful - they are both gone now and so has the quality of this salon - The owner use to be really friendly, not any more? I got my pedi done by Rose and because of her I will NEVER step foot in the salon again I neve felt do harassed by her I came in for a pedi only and she kept trying to sell me other things, I kept telling her no and she got really pushy and rude. Don't come here for waxing. Nancy was great and tried very hard but they apparently do not use a good wax and it was ineffective at removing the hair on my legs. Also, the waxing room is very dimly lit and she was unable to see my light colored hair that was not removed at all. It's not her fault, she spent over an hour and tried hard. The problem is the quality of the wax used and the dimly lit room used for waxing. read more

Odd, because when I walk in there are at least 2 employees sitting with no customer in front of them, staring at their phones. This is a pretty decent salon for the prices. I can always count on a clean environment and good looking nails. Sometimes I feel as though I'm being rushed if the shop is busy (there are only a few available technicians most of the time) and seeing everyone you know walk past the window towards Freddie's isn't always the most relaxing thing. That's a price I'm willing to pay for killer nails without having to leave town. All in all, I'd say this is the best nail salon in Scappoose. read more

The pricing was pretty standard, and they did a nice job on my shellac manicure as well as my pedicure. The massage chairs were comfortable, and they did a great job making my 6 year old comfortable for her first mani/pedi. The salon was clean and the employees were friendly. read more

She picked a shade i wouldn't normally wear, usually i'm conservative with my colors, and at the reunion i had many compliments. I have been to this salon before for basic mani/pedi and it was ok. Just ok - nothing spectacular, but because it's convenient it worked. Today I had a pedicure - fine, nothing wrong but not memorable. I have had the "dip powder" manis at other salons and really like them - they last a long time and don't damage my nails. I asked for that and was given a limited number of colors to choose from, which in hindsight, probably should've warned me that it's not something they do a lot. I explained that I like them thin and for the shape to be round and that I just wanted them shaped - not cut. He quickly cut the shortest nail before I could say anything. I repeated that I didn't want them shorter. It went from bad to worse from there. Idk if he doesn't know how to do the dip or he was just rushed because he was trying to work on three of us at the same time. My nails are uneven, the top coat was put on over dust so they're bumpy. That coat didn't dry and was smudged allover. Instead of slowing down, filing that layer off and starting over, he wiped that off with a paper towel and immediately put two more coats on. Absolutely horrible! And had the gall to charge me full price. I understand mistakes happen, it was busy, but admit your mistake, slow down and start over. The convenience is not worth it - I will not be going back. read more

I'm sorry but this place has the worst customer service of all time. I've been here three times now. The first time, I was sliced open with a nail file, and couldn't finish my manicure because I was bleeding so bad. Also, I was literally being man handled by the guy, it felt like my fingers would break off. The second time I was desperate for a set of acrylics and they actually turned out good. BUT I asked for a simple set, $25 set of acrylics, but I instead, without asking me, I was given solar nails and had to pay $40. Again, I didn't ask for that and didn't want to spend that much. The third time I arrived I was 5 or less minutes late for my appointment. I was told I was too late and could make an appointment for another day if I'd like.. I don't even get a call or anything I was just simple told I was too late. This place has a nice interior, and it's kind of clean.. But not worth your time. read more

The service was ok and the shellac Medicare was nothing special. The polish was pretty chunky and had a few bubbles on each nail. I had to fix the filling right after I left. I can't tell if they were having a bad day or if they just don't care. Overall, not really worth the 25 dollars I spent and I will not be back. read more

Being squeezed in for a last minute pedicure was greatly appreciated, but severely disappointing! This is the second terrible experience I've had here & will not be back again. I would have rather waited another day to go to the Salon across the way. I asked that my nails be kept the length and shape that they were, just to file them, nope! They are now shaped in a manner that generally causes an ingrown toenail as my nails grow back. Worst French tip ever, nothing is more uneven. Not only that, but I was not offered any add ons & the total time between sitting & being moved to the dryer was maybe 20mins, very rushed. Typically I appreciate the massage and scrubbing of my feet more so than the polish, yet that felt very much like I was a burden. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking to pamper themselves! I also watched them turn away a gal at 5pm for a fill but then took in a couple wanting nails & a pedi done just minutes later. Terrible customer service IMO. Because it's soooo convenient to pop in w/out an appointment, I've had shellacs done here for a couple years off and on. Almost every time I go here I kick myself and ask, why do I keep going back!?! They are just ok...barely. I admit, sometimes the convenience is worth the "just ok". I've bled before on the toes from time to time...not a major ordeal, but one toe hurt for almost a week this time. And ALL my toes from the balls of my feet BURNED and itched for days. I HATE getting pedi's anywhere cuz I'm too afraid the bowls are not sanitized. Oh, and if you go there, they don't scrape your heels anymore. Unless you buy the $3 kit with a pumice. I already have so many files and such at home I said no. The look of my regular pedi was fine--how bad can they mess up on toes. I mean, how often do you get 10 inches from someones' toes. ;o) Right? What I was really frustrated with was my mani. I was filing the catches (on my hair, clothes, etc.) the next 3 days. Two nails did peel after 4 days. It was smooth and shiny on top (no bubbles) but....you know how they leave a space between the polish line and your cuticle when you pay for a shellac? I even asked her to fill in the ridge on the second coat. She didn't. My nails looked embarrassing. I'm sorry but it looked like a young kid did it, almost a week old. She trimmed a little cuticle (didn't even soak the 1st hand just started snipping away), and never pushed back the cuticle so she could get the polish on the whole nail. Oh and what's with the "massage"? I understand there are pressure points, but all she did is rub on my knuckles and bones!! ouch. Yes. Really! I wanted to turn my hand over and say, this is where the muscles are. I couldn't do that with my toes however. ha! I just told her that it hurt. This gal said she came from the St Helen's location.
