It's so clear they talk shit about customers, gesturing directly at me hysterically laughing and pointing, always rude to customers who are plus sized. When you're trying to relax and enjoy pampering it's extremely difficult when you can tell they are speaking negatively about you. Crazy part is I tip very well and am courteous and polite despite the mistreatment to myself. Will not be returning. I left genuinely feeling bad about myself when I went in to pamper myself and improve my mental health. Very sad about this. read more

It's hit or miss here depending on which person you get. I've had good experiences here and also unfortunately on two occasions, very bad experiences. The bad experiences were with a young person who clearly did not want to be there and didn't mind if she was causing pain to the customer. During my pedicure, I was treated very roughly throughout and even cut by the little trimming tool. No apologies or attempt to be more gentle. Other ladies in there were kind and careful. I've been here a number of times but more recently have gone elsewhere because of the unpredictability. read more

I wouldn't go back if you paid me. It's a nice enough looking shop but the station I was serviced at by Jenny was dirty, dusty and I'm only hoping that it as well as her tools were sanitized. They don't give or sell new clients a kit with fresh file & buffer, and at the sink to wash your hands there is only 1 brush (which is not in sanitizer) My full set of short acrylic were lumpy, bumpy, and all different lengths. Most fingers only got 1 bead of acrylic, the sides of my natural nails weren't covered on any of my fingers, all of the apex were flat, and all of the nails had that dreaded upward slope. My technician never spoke to me, but she did keep a running dialogue with the gal next to her & behind her. This is just my experience- yours may vary. read more

I really wanted to like this place but I have some warnings I need to put out there so others know: it's sadly not worth your time or money. No ventilation at all, I felt lightheaded from the fumes after 45 min. You will be forced to purchase a $3 "nail kit" because those tools aren't included in their services apparently. I wasn't offered a drink even though they list yummy options like champagne or mimosas. I wasn't even asked, not even offered water. The new nail file cut my toe, and without apology, my nail tech sprayed it down with alcohol. Youch. Tools were left on the floor, dropped, passed around from one guest to the other, and combined with the smell and the state of the floor I did not get the sense that they care for cleanliness in line with my standards. Especially since I was bleeding at one point. All of the tools (some of which covered in my dead skin, were washed off in the water my feet were soaking in.) Their massage chairs were old and the remotes were busted with wires and buttons exposed from wear and tear. I did not find my experience at all relaxing, and the results and quality of the work is only so-so. read more

I've been going to Colorful Nails for a while now, they have always been friendly and done a good job. I wanted to treat my mom to a mani and pedi because she has been going through a lot of medical treatments for the past few months and needed some time away to relax. We were early to the appointment and greeted kindly by one of the nail techs. She had asked us to pick out a color and they would be right with us. Once we sat down for our pedis my mom started coughing (we are masked up and vaccinated) and the lady who was doing my mother's pedi started to get rough with her. My mother told the nail tech to please be gentle, but unfortunately she didn't listen and continue to be rough. My mother told the nail tech that she has cancer to help ease her mind in hopes she would ease up a bit. But as my mom coughed the nail techs treatment towards her got worse. This was so embarrassing and mortifying. We didn't want to be rude and cause a sene so we let them finish the pedicure. Pictures to follow. Also, I've noticed on many occasions when I have had my nails done most of the nail techs including the owner have there masks half off their face while drinking Starbucks when doing nails. That alone is disgusting and disappointing. I will never get my nails done here, nor will I ever recommend this establishment to anyone. read more

Overall satisfied with the experience here. Glad we called ahead of time, for a 12:45pm appointment for a pedicure for 2 adults and 1 child. We saw quite a few walk-ins that got turned down because of the amount of appointments they already had. There were 2 employees ready to do our pedicures so the gal started on my sister and the guy started one me. The pedicure I had was delightful. The man took his time pushing my cuticles back, removing any dead skin and massaging my leg and calf. This was probably one of the best pedicures I'd had in terms of the massage and care taken. The man was a little sloppy with the paint job, but the gal came over to finish it for him. My poor moms pedicure was a little short. In the time it took the guy to do my entire pedicure the girl had finished my sister and did my mom and got her pedicure done before mine was even done. My mom said her felt good, but was a little short. The woman seemed annoy that the guy was taking so long on me, but I felt like the amount of time he took on my is the expected length for a pedicure. We didn't already have our own supplies, so we paid $3/box which contained a file, buffer, scrubber, tow separators, etc. This is a great value considering I've been to places before where you pay $5 just for a file and a buffer inside a ziploc baggy. read more

I thought mayyyybe they'd be better than how it used to be (terrible service, Polish that turns brown after a few days, dirty lobby etc) but from what little I could see; NO IMPROVEMENT whatsoever with new ownership. Always love my pedicures! Had a gel manicure also and it is peeling after 1 week. I thought they were supposed to last 3 weeks.

I don't know what It is about nail salons in Oregon but they must not be cleaning their instruments. This is the second time in my life where I get a toe infection the day after a pedicure while visiting. Never again. I'll be doing my own nails from now on. read more

This salon provides poor service. They say walk ins accepted however every time my friends and i have tried we are turned away and told to schedule because they are "short staffed". I recommend 1. Staffing your salon 2.Teach the front desk manager person to have customer service skills, she is abrasive and rude. She says "what do you want?" I tell her and she says no, come back later. I have been getting gel manis here for the last 18 months or so, and have consistently received the best looking manicures that last 3+ weeks (my nails grow out before the polish starts chipping). I realize the gel polish doesn't always last as long for some but it does for me! Annie is very good at what she does! read more

The salon is clean, the overall atmosphere is quite relaxing. Phe took his time on my pedicure and I felt like I got my monies worth. So happy with their nail services. I've gone twice now and had two different technicians and both did a beautiful job. I replaced my first set after two weeks but I'm currently on my third week with my second. My nails grow fast so I'll keep it at every two weeks going forward. I am only leaving a 3 star view for this place. The place is nice and pretty clean, they were able to do our pedicures even though they rushed it and it was only about a 15 min pedicure, I do appreciate that, no massage though. The reason our pedicures were only 15 min is I had made a reservation for a specific time for 3 people, one being myself, one being my granny, and one being my 8yr daughter, we left home in plenty of time but ended getting stuck in traffic between St Helens and Scapoose, we tried calling several times but it went straight to voicemail every time, when we showed up they said you have appointment, I said yes it was at this time and we have been trying to call you the whole time, they said their phone never rang. They said they could do it but no massage and no something else, I appreciated that. I also told them no polish on my daughters toe nails and the tech completely ignored me and continued to put polish on her nails. I went here for a shellac manicure and spa pedicure. The ladies there were all very nice and it was a friendly atmosphere. They fit me in on a Saturday morning when I called at about 0930 for an appointment at 1100. They were fast and my mani/pedi looks amazing. I'll definitely be back.
