I've walked into this salon 3 times in as many weeks. Each time I walked in I got the impression I was in the wrong place. As though I had walked into the women's restroom by mistake. I've had good experiences in the past, but after my third attempt at getting a cut here being met with indifference I gave up. I'm clearly the wrong sex for this place and I suggest they drop the pretense of serving men by posting a sign in the window stating as much. read more

This salon is HORRIBLE. I just needed my roots dyed blonde. She dripped dye all over my hair and it was so splotchy. She left like a third of an inch of grow out still. It was soooooo much darker than the rest of my hair. I called and asked them to redo it and they toned it but it didn't do much and I had to pay to get it done again somewhere else with more qualified and professional stylists. read more

I've been going to Salon Deluge for about 3-4 years now, and it takes a lot for me to actually want to write a review about a place because I never found yelp personally helpful, however I think in this case it might be. Salon Deluge has done well with my hair for years now and I cant stop going, its hard to find a Salon that can actually get my hair the silver color I love. Not to mention the stylists they have there are versed in modern male hairstyles, so I always end up leaving with a cut I like. I'm not to sure about the previous comment, about being a male and walking into the wrong salon. Personally I have never felt like I had walked into the wrong place, as anytime I enter I'm usually greeted by someone. I seriously have to recommend this place to others, especially if they are looking for a place that can fit modern hairstyles. read more

I went into this salon to get my roots touched up (I have very black hair and get it dyed blonde). I have to do this every month or so because of strict work regulations and the girl who worked on it did a great job! No splotches of random color or anything that I tend to get at other salons and usually have to get fixed or fix myself. I consider my hair to be somewhat difficult to work with, but she did it perfectly. I highly recommend Sooyun (not sure about spelling) if you're looking for someone who does color really well. read more

I had an appt with Shayla for a double process bleach to have my dark roots (I have black hair) lightened to match the rest of my blonde hair.. after 4 hrs I was left with unsightly yellow and orange hair!!!! Not only that but she charged me extra for toning it when that's included in the "double" process but since it was my first time at a salon she took advantage of the fact that I didn't know... I would have complained but the salon was closed by the time she was done and I had to pick up my daughter so I didn't have time to go through all of that.. I paid $215 for my roots to get lightened, toned and for a little trim!!! l was so embarrassed so I tied my hair up before I went home. My family told me it looked so bad and that the back of my hair had random black patches because she didn't apply the bleach evenly. She knew I was getting my hair done "proffessionally" for my 21st bday and now I have to dye my hair dark to cover up this hideous hair so I don't go out on my birthday with ugly yellow, orange and black hair! NEVER EVER GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE!!!!!! read more

The people were nice, but THIS PLACE SUCKS. I wanted to give this place a chance since it was new and in the area...but I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. I paid over $120 for my hair to basically LOOK WORSE than before. On top of that, I have been growing my hair out, and the lady cut WAY TOO MUCH OFF, in the back, so now I have to wait even longer for it to grow out. I'm so mad/ sad/ disappointed. I brought in pictures of how I wanted my hair -which was not hard to do ( I had it before) - and the lady went on saying how she would do dark panels under my hair and that I would like it. I asked if it would be like the picture and she said yes... CLEARLY it doesn't even look close!!! On top of that, the root touch up that I wanted ended up looking disgustingly brassy + I couldn't even get the highlights touched up that I needed because it was overpriced and I did not trust them. I'm going back to 50th Avenue Salon to see my old stylist who just happens to specialize in COLOR CORRECTION. It just sucks because I wanted to be able to go to this salon since its close to where I live, but since it was such a disappointment, now I have to go back to my old stylist and spend $85 to get my hair where I want it to be (at least she will get it RIGHT) . I have been going to Roseo for two years, and when she left her prior salon I had to follow her to Salon DeLuge. She listens to what I want, gives suggestions and we always come up with something that I like. She does a GREAT job with curly hair, and as a curly girl, I have had my share of bad cuts over the years. Roseo knows how to cut and color. The other girls at the salon are great as well, and they know how to treat their clients. If you are looking for a stylist give them a call. read more

I got my hair cut and colored by Hannah. She did an amazing job with the cut, and my hair is super thick and difficult to cut. The color wasn't exactly what I wanted, so Hannah fixed it for me for free. This salon stands by there services and will gladly fix anything you aren't totally happy with. The owner and another stylist both jumped in to help with correcting the color, which I think is important I mention because it shows that they support each other to make sure all clients are happy. read more
