Bad idea coming here as a walk in on a Saturday midday the day before mother's day. I highly recommend making an appointment. We got here a few minutes before 1:30pm for a regular manicure & pedicure for my mom and a regular pedicure for myself. My mom wasn't seen until 1:50pm and I wasn't seated until 2:15pm.... It understandable, since they were super busy and we had no appointments. We actually didn't mind since we weren't in a rush. I think the owner Stephanie I believe her name is should let walk in customers know what to expect for time..but it wasn't a big deal. They have many options for color gel, regular colors and I saw someone getting a cute design so that's great (probably an extra charge of course). They have another location right on the building next door, lots of parking in front and on the side. This nail salon is located on a busy main street so that can be a pain. Tammy did my regular pedicure and did a great pedicure job, however not sure how she would be with painting nails (since I didn't get any color because I wanted to give my nails a break from color), but overall it was great and I'm sure she would've done a good job. My mom had a gentleman (didn't get his name, had red-ish hair) he did a decent job doing my mom's manicure and pedicure, she was very pleased with the color but I noticed a line when he placed the same color as a second coat it didn't start where the nail ends so it's pretty obvious .. to me that's not great.. there shouldn't be lines when getting a regular color on your nails. I personally rather places who take their time making sure it doesn't look like a sloppy quick color coat, everything should start and end in the same way. I originally came here about 3 months ago to buy a gift certificate for someone for a regular manicure and pedicure which is why I wanted to come back to check it out for myself. I'm not sure if they raised their prices, because I was charged $30 for a regular pedicure and $45 for a regular manicure & pedicure. Last time those weren't the prices, I specifically made sure I got a certificate that would cover a regular manicure and pedicure and it wasn't $45. They don't have prices visible when you are in the establishment unless you ask or get their price menus that are tucked away by the nail drying station. I feel like that's a bit sneaky. Overall a decent place, I probably would come back again for a full regular manicure and pedicure but would make sure I make an appointment ahead of time and ask for prices. read more

I keep going back to Perfection nails because I like Stephanie. But every time I go there to get a simple fill in, the price changes. Today it was 42 dollars just for a fill. 48 by the time I tipped. I'm getting the same thing as always, down to the polish. So it makes no sense and I'm starting to feel taken advantage of. So this same service that has at times been 20, 35, 32, today was 42. I'm mad. It's all over the place for the EXACT SAME THING. if I go in dressed nice they charge more. Why does the mail tech have to ask the owner how much if it's set prices. They seem to adjust the price at wimb. I need to find a more trustworthy place. I do not recommend this place unless you want to get ripped off. read more

I am staying in Bradenton temporarily and needed to find a good salon. At the recommendation of another poster I decided to book with Ivy and she did not disappoint. My first visit was a holiday style full set and then my second visit was a fill. Both times she was patient and communicative; making sure I got exactly what I wanted. I was so undecided on my nail color for my fill that she pulled at least 7 swatches based off of an idea that i described. In the end, she mixed two colors for me to make my vision a reality. Normally you are rushed by your nail tech to hurry up and choose but it was important to her that I left completely satisfied. If you are ever in the area, please visit Ivy. Absolutely horrible. I will never go back to this place. I'll start off by saying it's not my normal place I go but unfortunately my place was booked and I had 2 other people that wanted to go and get manicures and pedicures. They said this place was good and they have gone there before. The pedicure was fine, nothing special and nothing to crazy about it. That is the only reason they are getting a one star, and also because it's the lowest I can give. All I wanted was a matte black gel (what I always get, nothing crazy very simple). The man didn't know what I was saying and almost gave me the wrong color, the man next to him had to stop him and correct him. He got done with the black color and was doing the matte top coat and I was taking to my friends and didn't realize he missed half of the top coat on one of my nails. So when I checked them I told him, he put more top coat on and then whipped my nails with a white cloth... they weren't dry yet so they ended up having small threads on them... I showed him and instead of taking them off he just painted over them.... My nails aren't smooth at all, you can clearly still see the threads from the towel under the top coat. So I told him again.... and he just did another top coat and put my hand back under the drying light. At this point I just wanted to leave and didn't wanna argue anymore. So I paid, left and immediately called my regular nail place for an appointment the next day for them to fix. It was 62$ for a mani and pedi... my normal place is 20 for a gel mani... read more

I would give a zero-star review if possible. This establishment charged me $38 for my 8 year olds pedicure and $25 for her manicure . They charged $75 for a full set with three flowers as a design. Worst customer service ever not professional and had mosquitoes inside one employee even killed a mosquito on my leg. We came from out of town and made a reservation for 2 at 2. When we came in it was jam packed full and seemed like they had not honored our reservation but got us in and we waited 15 mins in the chairs before someone started. My mom had gel on her fingernails and I was finished with my pedicure before her so she asked them to start soaking her fingernails and they said yes one minute and 10 minutes had gone by and my mom asked again and they were getting annoyed that she was asking but by this time I was halfway through my manicure and was probably done w a gel manicure in 10 minutes so they rushed me through. Finally she was done and they were soaking her but they didn't soak her long enough so had to jam the gel polish off her nails instead of it just pushing off nicely if they had soaked her like she asked. I wanted to get an eyebrow wax and my guy said yes just a minute honey and 10 went by and no one had followed up so I just said screw it I didn't want them touching my Face anyway hahaha They did a nice job on my pedicure but manicure was rushed and didn't clean up my Raghu cuticles at all plus the guy had his head phones in and didn't say a word to me or look at me. This is by far the best place in town. I'm so glad I found this place. I've been to other nail salons in the area and they weren't as good. I get the classic pedicure and they do an amazing job, they massage your legs and feet, plus use hot stones and then wrap your legs with hot towels. It's very soothing, it's like a spa treatment for your feet. I can't imagine what the other pedicures consist of if the classic is this wonderful! Let me just start off by saying if I could give this place 0 stars I would but I have to put at least 1 star. I came in with a friend that has went here a couple times and said that they were good so I gave them a chance because I my usual place was booked. The first time I came here with my friend I got a full set with gel nail polish about a month ago and within 4 days I had 4 nails fall off so, I called them and asked if they could fix it and they did with no charge which I appreciated and the nail tech that fixed them the first time said the glue was no good and they fixed the issue. Now to the present my friend wanted to get her nails done again and I was iffy about it because I had problems with my nails staying on before but then I said lets give them another chance because everyone has their off days. 9/26/19 around 12:30ish I went in with the same friend to get a full set with gel nail polish. I sat down and a lady named Stephani who actually fixed my nails when the nails fell off the last time I was there. I told her I wanted to get a coffin shaped nail and she cut them with scissors to shape the nails which I thought was weird because the usual place I go to uses a nail file to shape my nails into a coffin. After she was done shaping the tips I looked at them and wanted to cry because the coffin shape was all jagged and I told her to stop because they looked terrible I then asked her to make a narrow squared with the acrylic on the original tip were she messed up the coffin shape. After the acrylic was on and she shaped it into the narrow square and I actually started to feel better about my nails because she actually made then better. So she moved onto filing and sanding the acrylic down and I wasn't really paying that much attention to them when she was doing that so she went to painting shortly after. Once she was done she brought me up to the front to pay and I started to look at them. I told her my nails aren't the same shape nor the same length and on top of that my gel nail polish looked terribly painted. Her response to what I said was $40 for the nails. I told her they look terrible I don't want to pay that much for them. Her response was I'll take of $5 for you. I then replied what does $5 do to fix my nails, then she said how about $10 off you nails. I then proceeded to tell her my nails look awful I don't want to pay that much nor anything. She then said the only way you can walk out here not paying is if I take them off so I said please take them off because I'm not even happy with them , and then she says no I don't want to do that. I ended up paying $25 for nails I hate and she told me because I wasn't happy with my nails they could no longer service me anymore which I told her that was completely fine as I showed her my nails. I will also be calling my bank to dispute this charge. DON'T COME TO THIS NAIL SALON UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED!! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! Loved how clean this place was! All their tools are new and sterilized. I called ahead to see how busy they were and was told to come in an hour later. Once I got there I was seated immediately. I had a pedicure from Denise which was amazing. Tons of colors to choose from. Definitely going back! Just a heads up, parking in the back is limited and there's only one way in/out. After going to the (in my opinion) overrated place down the street with "spa" I it's name. I decided to finally leave and find a new place. I am so pleased I did. Of course it was a bit crowded as prom is this weekend and some other jr high dance. But so what. There wasn't a bitchy tone in the air that I always absorbed down the street. Everyone was busy but still pleasant. I felt zero negativity and I am extremely empathetic to my environment. My technician, Canthia (forgive me if I'm wrong) gave me a great pedicure. Extremely detailed nail and cuticle work, made sure my heels were nice and smooth and massaged away all of my stress. I could barely stay awake. I look forward to doing the deluxe next time when I have more time. Jonathan, the owner was a sweetie and did my fill. Very personable and also did an excellent job. Like another reviewer said, if you go when it's busy you will wait but my mani/pedi service was fast (I like that!... I'm wasn't looking for a day spa event) & worth the wait! They offer mani's, pedi's, fake nails (which I cannot comment on; its not my thing), gel manicures & waxing. They have all the latest OPI polishes, OPI gel, gelish & shellac. They are open on Sundays even though their website says they're closed. Next week, I'll try to book an appointment and try an OPI gel manicure. read more
