Raul and his team did a mediocre paint job. There was definitely a lack of attention to detail and sloppiness. They left a lot of paint splatter on the floor throughout the entire house (we think we'll be finding spots for years). Every door handle has paint on it, the shower glass has paint on it, etc. There are areas where they only did one coat and it is clear that the old paint color is coming through. They somehow punched a hole in the wall when putting an electrical outlet cover back on the wall. The walls themselves look okay, but the rest of the job (trim, doors, generally keeping the floors and the rest of the house free from paint and not damaged) was done hastily and poorly. But that's not even the real reason for my poor review. Their attitude was terrible. He and his team put our blinds back up the wrong way, and they were very clearly annoyed and rude when we asked them to fix them. They then went on to break the blind and not tell us that they did so - we noticed after they left. We were told that he and the team would be on the job until Tuesday, but very clearly they got another job they wanted to start on that Tuesday, so they rushed to try and finish everything on Monday. In general, not a pleasant personality to work with or have in your home. Painting is expensive! Perfect Touch's quote might come in lower than that of others, but had we known what this experience would be like we might have paid the extra money to go with someone more pleasant to work with. read more

This is the second time we have used Raul to paint our home. He did a great job the first time when he painted the exterior of our house. When we decided to paint the interior of our home as well as the kitchen cabinets we knew to call him. He is very professional and most important is his attention to detail. I moved into a newly built home that had a badly done glaze job on the cabinetry. I decided I would have the cabinets painted white. Raúl and his team did a great job giving me the cabinets that I wanted. Perfect Touch Painting has affordable, meticulously done service. Raúl explained the cabinet painting process to me well, worked around our movers and furniture delivery, and took care to make sure the paint on my cabinets dried in a safe area. He also did extra caulking on my cabinets because he noticed that they had been poorly caulked by the original cabinet maker. While he was here, we asked him to paint the baseboards and door jams. He charged a very reasonable price for the original work so I was amazed at the minimal add-on price he charged for the baseboards and door jams. Getting back to the original exterior paint job... Raul noticed some damaged wood that needed replacing. He did some minor carpentry work which blended in with our home originally built in 1965. I've used Perfect Touch painting for two houses in the last month and highly recommend them. Raul came to my Pflugerville home of 16 years and gave me a free estimate for painting the entire house. He and his crew came on time every day, painted everything as requested, and did a great job within the time frame and budget he promised. In fact, there was a detail he missed in his quote, and he offered to paint the extra area for free since he forgot it in his quote (I paid him because I think it was the right thing to do, but I appreciated his concession). At first, I thought Perfect Touch was the answer to my immediate needs. Raul was able to schedule me quickly prior to moving into my new home. I appreciated the quick response and quick estimate. However, upon completion of the job I realized there was some problems with his work. First, Raul and his guys did not keep up with all of the pieces of the switchplates, blinds, etc upon removal prior to prepping for the job. I did not realize this until the job was completed. Screws were missing from my stainless steel switchplates. The light fixtures were left dangling from the ceiling upon wrapping up the job. Items that were removed from the wall were removed without unscrewing the screw from the sheet rock anchor...leaving a 100 lb single mother to "figure it out." Grrrrrr... All of this pales in comparison to the fact that Raul did not put the center bracket back on the heavy wood blinds at 6 windows in my home. How did I discover this?! My 18 month old son had the 30 pound blinds fall on his head. After consoling my panicked child I noticed the HUGE gash in my wood floor from the blinds falling from the window. I immediately contacted Raul and was upset. He agreed to come the following day and place the center brackets on the blinds. When Raul was placing the center bracket on the largest and heaviest of my blinds the "mechanical" part of the blinds broke. Raul assumed no responsibility whatsoever even though the blinds were in perfect working order prior to his arrival. Shame on you, Raul! My blinds now crookedly sit on my window unwilling to go up or down. As a business owner myself, I would have done anything to preserve a customer. Accidents happen, but it seemed that at every turn Raul was not at fault. As I typed the last sentence my blind cover fell off of the blinds. I guess my point is well proven...Shame on you! read more

We bought a house with VERY high ceilings. It is @3600 sq feet. We were recommended by a friend to Raul and his team. We painted the flat paint (an ugly earth tone color) with a satin gray on the walls and a white on the ceilings. Raul informed us right from the get go about his plan, about how many gallons of paint he would need without going over (because you can't return extra paint!) and how long it would take. The team was professional, clean and PUNCTUAL! They also removed the vents in the ceilings and switch plates, and put them back. I would happily have them back to do anything that we needed. We are getting ready to put our house on the market and wanted to paint the exterior before doing so. Raul was extremely professional and so helpful. When I told him we were planning on selling the house, he recommended specific paint/colors and repairs to make it appealing to a buyer without us having to spend a lot of money. I couldn't believe how reasonable his price was when I received the estimate! When he told me he would have to do some power washing on a part of the exterior before it would be painted, he offered to also power wash our stone patio at no extra cost since he would already be using the power washer. The finished work looks absolutely amazing, I wish we had him paint long ago so I could enjoy how great the house looks longer. We plan on using him again to paint the interior and my mom was so impressed with his work, she wants him to come and paint her house as well! We hired Raul to paint our entire house pre-move-in: ceilings, walls, baseboards. He was meticulous--the house looks wonderful and fresh, every nail hole caulked and covered, ceiling damage repaired and drywall/textured, and the paint beautifully done. I vacillated a lot on color--not only did Raul help me select (and gave excellent advice), but he was flexible enough to switch without complaint when I changed a couple of walls or made some mistakes in my selections. And he was able to add in the entire garage--and still keep to schedule--when we decided at the last minute that we would like it painted too. He and his team removed every switch plate and vent cover--and cleaned them, as well as the ceiling fans and light fixtures.
