The whole experience was excellent. Their prices were competitive, but what really made them stand out was Kathleen's excellent suggestions for modernizing the look of my house. Things I wouldn't even have thought about. The crew was professional and fast, even getting done earlier than expected, which was super helpful since I had a deadline. They did a few extras for me too, which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended. read more

Best experience. Owner, Kathleen Myers, was very involved and assisted me throughout the entire project from color choice to final walk around. The on-site-lead was there all day to answer all my questions. The team was able to complete the entire house and separate large garage in a very reasonable timeframe. 100% satisfied. Lastly, the team painted my pergola, a bench, a pool gate and 2 miscellaneous small items. Best experience and overall end result. Happy happy happy. :-) read more

Don't use anyone else! Kolor Pros was such a great experience! Excellent communication with the entire team. Highly professional and the work performed was beyond expectation. Very reasonably priced and quality results. I had so many questions and concerns and they patiently walked me through the entire process. Kathleen, James and crew made the home renovation stress free which is unheard of. I will recommend them to all my family and friends. Kolor Pros was a gem of a find for sure! read more

We hired KolorPros to perform some repairs to the exterior of our home and then paint it. They proved themselves to be completely incompetent to perform either task. I'll give detail below, but a quick synopsis - Repairs were performed in an extremely substandard manner, the crew clearly didn't know how to do them correctly and the paint is just slopped on and looks quite terrible. Repair - repairs were to be the replacement of siding on the chimney bump out replacement of some areas of soffit with water damage and repair of water damage to the lower garage door jambs. The first argument was around the materials used on the siding replacement. The estimate clearly listed Hardie materials, yet they began installing an inferior OSB product with pine corner boards. Given that this siding needed to be replaced because it is consistently wet, this material would have lasted a matter of months. In addition, the installation was poor with a 4 foot wide piece of material centered on a 4' 6" wide chimney, then attempting to cover the corners with corner board. The supervisor, James, wanted to argue the point and we ultimately talked to Kathleen who relented and agreed to install the Hardie board. The rot at the bottom of the garage door jambs was a mixed bag of sketchy attempts at repair. Two of the jambs, they cut a few inches off the bottom, jammed in a piece of 2X3, smeared caulk all over the seam and painted it while the caulk was still wet. So, we now have pine 2X3 in contact with the ground with the grain running the opposite direction of the rest oft he jamb and a paint peeling off of wet caulk. The other two, they jus smeared caulk over the rot and painted the wet caulk. When we pointed this out, the site agreed to fill them with wood filler. What he did was fill one half of one side with polyester filler, didn't bother to sand it, then painted over it. The other half was still wet caulk...painted over. The soffit to be replaces was small corner about 18" X 16". Rather than replace the entire thing, they cut out a 6"X6" corner and simply glued in a patch with more caulk. With the grain running the opposite direction. Then they reinstalled the gutter using only half the screws. I guess the rest of the screws which I had placed carefully in the gutter for reinstallation are out in my yard somewhere. Pretty much the entire paint job can be summed up with one word: SLOPPY. There is paint all over the brick around every door and window. Combining their sloppy caulking with their sloppy painting, it looks like a three year old painted the house with finger paint. In many areas such as the shutters, I have found the paint to be thin when you get on a ladder and get close to it. You can see the old color through the brush strokes. It's just bad and I expect it to not last. There was an attempt to correct a few of these issues, but after these few, I realized that this crew flat out had no idea how to do any of this right. They thought it was all fine. They've obviously never been trained and have never been held to any quality standards. It was best for them to leave before they did more damage. It should also be noted that neither James nor Kathleen ever showed themselves at the jobsite. read more

Avoid these people! Nothing professional about this company. They can't even cut a straight line!!! Look at the pics. We recently had them paint our house. it was an absolute nightmare. First of all they drink on the job. Drinking beers at our house while they're supposed to be working. And then secondly they do terrible work. I made them redo our whole house because they went through and painted all the walls without plugging any of the holes. They did this on the outside of the house also. They were paid to plug the holes and then paint. They painted the outside of the house first. They sprayed it. But they didn't tell us to move our cars until after they have painted half of the house. So there is overspray all over our vehicles. Then when they painted the inside of the house. They remove the doors outside and sprayed them but they set up the spray booth about 10 feet away from the house. So the house got overspray of white on it. So they had to repaint the front door after they had painted everything. Because they don't work professionally. It was not professional to set up the booth that close to the house. It was not professional to not tell us to move our cars before they started painting. It's not professional to come to work and drink alcohol on the job. Now that's all just the painters. That doesn't even talk about how horrible the woman who Smells like cigarettes is she came for a final walk-through. And I pointed out all the things that hadn't been done or needed to be redone. And she fuck with me. Actually got into a fight with me over the work that she's being paid to get done. So after this was all done my mother left a review about the experience and that woman who smells like cigarettes emailed my mother shortly after and threatened her. Said that if she didn't start bad mouthing her company that she would get her lawyer involved. But freedom of speech is a right everyone has here in America so good luck with the lawyer lady. I'll be reviewing her company on every site I can now. Be careful with this company. My suggestion is to find anyone else. read more

They were professional and did clean work. The issue is the quality of the paint they used. It was not fit for the purpose. The paint on my cabinets stain very easily, and don't clean up well. The paint also lifted off areas within a few weeks of being cured. read more

Integrity and Communication are the two key words that set Kolor Pros Painting apart from all the competition! Kathleen constantly communicated with me regarding my house painting project. Her and her crew showed up on time and did an outstanding job. About 9 months after they did my house (after the big freeze) I noticed a small area that was missed (covered by bushes). It's completely understandable as to how it was missed. I mean it took me 9 months to notice it. I sent her an email with a picture of the area. Without hesitation she arranged to have someone come out and get it painted. WOW! Not many people would do without hesitation. She far exceeded my expectations with the work that was done. I would recommend these folks to everyone I know as a matter of fact I will. Without any further explanation, I'll let the pictures speak for themself. read more

Kathleen and Kolor Pros did an amazing job on the exterior of my house. They painted the siding an brick, wrapped the small posts on my front porch in cedar and added amazing new rails! Her crew was very quick, efficient, and clean. I appreciated that she would always let me know what she would do on things where I couldn't make up my mind and was great at guiding me through the process. She was also very patient with my incredibly slow, non-responsive HOA. I'm very happy and highly recommend Kolor Pros. read more

Had several bids to paint the exterior of our home. Kathleen provided the most thorough bid in of them all. 21 pages noting all work requested and how it would be done. Honestly she was not the lowest bid, nor did I expect she would be. But, I definitely knew the job I could expect. We explained we we're getting a new roof installed, and would be at least a month out. She was the only bidder who actually followed up. The job was excellent. They arrived on time. This was a full exterior home paint. The crew was organized, neat, and diligent. They completed the job on time, actually a little earlier. There prep time was efficient, and the cleanup at completion was superb. When she came by to check on the job I had her bid some ceiling damage for repair and repaint two rooms and our office. Which she did. Once the exterior paint was completed and inspected. And it was superior. We gave her the interior job. Deciding not to obtain additional bids. Now that job has been completed with the same results. Same review, with the same results. With these jobs we highly recommend Kathleen and Kolor Pro read more

If you are searching for a painting company, LOOK NO FURTHER!! Kathleen and her team at Kolor Pros are the real deal!! I needed to update my curb appeal for upcoming sale by having shutters and front door stained and the three garage doors painted. My interior had chips and stains on our textured walls and two entire rooms which were destroyed from my incorrect use of cleaning solutions. Even after using multiple coats of primer paint, stains always bled through, I was prepared to take a loss. I came across Kolor Pros Painting and had the pleasure of meeting Kathleen who came out to evaluate my mess. She is so great, advised on color, even telling me certain areas did not need repainting...who does that??? She could have talked me into painting my entire house, yes, I'm that gullible, instead Kathleen was honest and professional every step of the way!! Luis and his team came out and did such an amazing job, inside and out!! They were neat, polite, and did not rush through their work, I can't say enough about their quality of work. My walls look brand new, we seriously cannot notice that any spakling was done. They matched the texture of the walls flawlessly! The outside looks fresh and clean, what an amazing difference! Seriously, put your trust into Kolor Pros Painting, you will not be dissapointed!!!! read more

Kathleen is the kind of business owner who is down to earth and does what she says she will do. From the estimate to scheduling to getting the work done, it was all excellent. She knows how to deploy the right people for the job and she sent a top-notch person named James. He was polite, respectful of me and my home, and did a terrific job! I have a 2 car garage that was only drywalled and mudded by the builder, so I wanted it painted. From sanding to priming to painting, James did it all by himself. He carefully wrapped my water heater, water softener, door opener, etc., - so anything not being painted was properly protected. I had ZERO MESS to clean up when he was done, not even 1 drop of anything on the floor. And, he whistled he worked - such a pleasant sound as to me that means a person is happy with what they are doing. He treated my home as though it was his own - and that is very important to me. By the time James left, the only evidence at all that he had been here was my shiny, stunning garage. It was a 1 day job, but Kathleen arrived in the morning to introduce me to James, and then called me after he was done. Kolor Pros will be getting more of my business, no doubt. read more

Working with Kathleen @ Kolor Pros turned a potentially difficult project into an easy one. This was the second time I have had Kolorpros paint my home, the first time the exterior and this find the interior. The house has high ceilings, especially in the living room, but also higher than usual in much of the house. I used a selection of colors from the same color way, as well as a couple not in the colorway, altogether 7 colors. The job was handled exactly the same way, the painting crew showing up right on time the first day as before. I don't print names because I do not know whether people want to be identified by name online any longer, but suffice it to say that everyone did great work and were nice. I also had the outside of my kitchen cabinets painted, the cabinets solid maple painted a pale ivory, and they have what looks like a factory finish on them. They also painted the center island a wonderful dark chocolate brown and it looks great with the ivory cabinets surrounding it. There is no paint on my wood floors or my carpets and the detail to the edges between floor, and molding against wall, is perfect. The ceilings were painted this time, too, as I wanted to have all of them white, which is saying something given that the LR ceiling is about 26 feet high or so. The edges are sharply defined and all looks crisp and well-defined. During the time I first painted in 2019 and this time I had the house interior done, I took 6 bids. Both times Kolorpros' bid was my first choice for price, but after working with them once before, also for the quality work and the fact that they came both times every day until it was done, finishing early both times. I just wish they were remodelers because I would absolutely hand over the reins to them for everything instead of managing this remodel myself. How nice life would be if every experience was like this one, not to mention getting to work with a great group of people. High marks! read more

We got several bids to paint the exterior of our house, which hadn't been painted in 22 years. Kathleen's was the most detailed and complete, and from talking with her, I had a good idea of exactly what would happen, when, and how. And it did! The job went so smoothly! Prep was excellent, painting was meticulous, and communication was good throughout. Our forewoman, Juana, did a great job, as did her crew. They were efficient and careful in their work. Kathleen gave me good guidance on a number of things, including paint sheen, which I appreciated. The house looks terrific and, honestly, it's the smoothest and best experience I've had with getting work done in a long time. read more

Kathleen runs a very no-nonsense operation. I was impressed but her professionalism from the quote through the end of the project. She quoted competitively and requoted me quickly when I budgeted out what I could afford to do. She was there to introduce to me her foreman and walk through the project (mine was a multiple room interior job.) Leo and the crew were super friendly, helpful with some extra work I requested, handled my home with care and best of all, did an absolutely beautiful job with a very big transformation from deeply saturated primary colors in the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom to the much lighter colors I chose. I was also so impressed with how well they were able to refresh my kitchen cabinets. I had a deadline for the project that Kathleen was confident about committing to, and her crew finished more than a day early. She called me every day through the process to keep me apprised of their status. No surprises! I will call them first the next time I have a project. read more

KolorPros submitted 1 of 4 bids, their bid being competitive with 2 of them, the other remaining bid being in an unrealistic region. The bid was detailed and comprehensive, from the breakdown of the work to be done, to many photos, to company policies saying what is, and what is not, included in the price. The owner was on time each of the times we met, gave me a firm date to begin, and was gracious about a few changes I made to the bid during the process. She was also willing to work a dual set of bids with a neighbor who indicated an interest in painting jointly, then reverting to the original bid and time frame when this collaboration did not work out. The work began on the original date and the job of painting the exterior was completed in 3 days, vinyl-clad windows excluded, but metal soffits above windows included. I had originally planned on painting The windows, but research on painting vinyl made me decide not to at this time. The painters who did the work were friendly, highly skilled, and very neat, a real asset in a compact neighborhood. I highly recommend KolorPros on every dimension, especially noting management of the whole project, competitive pricing, skill of the painters, and commitment to prompt completion. We now have a handsome, revitalized home with clean stonework, smooth, evenly painted stucco, a front door and balcony which look new, and a garage door which no longer looks like it needs replacement. read more

Would Be A Zero If Possible - I was happy with the exterior paint until it dried. By that time I had already paid her. The paint needed a second coat in some places and touch-up in others. After a LOUD argument between my husband and Eduardo, Kathleen's contract painter, they agreed to do some touch-up which took him about and hour and did not include the soffits which is what needed a second coat worse than the small touch-ups. He also left the gallon of paint here that he used for the touch-ups and he had used INTERIOR paint! We will have to have someone come out and repaint the soffits. This is not the complete story, but the major reason why we would not recommend Kolor Pros, Kathleen Myers or Eduardo! read more

I strongly recommend Kolor Pros. Kathleen and her crew did a great job from start to finish. During Kathleen's visit to estimate the job (whole house interior paint) she explained my options and the steps and time involved for each, and gave thoughtful recommendations. She let me change my mind a couple times -- i waffled but ended up adding in kitchen cabinet and stair rail painting, which added another couple days to the process, but they turned out great. Her team showed up early, worked late, prepped and taped or covered everything, filled in 20+ years of wall damage, reinstalled all the lamps and fixtures they removed for the paint job, and made it all look better than new. And after the carpet installers dinged up newly painted walls and baseboards, Kolor Pros team came back and fixed that up (but i'll be billing that to the carpet company). And Kathleen checked in with a progress report every evening to make sure I was up to date. read more

Kudos to Kathleen (owner) and her crew! We recently contracted with Kolor Pros to paint our house and window trim, metal porch railings, soffits, and garage door. It was difficult to contract with a company to paint our house, as we've always done the work ourselves, and value precision painting. Not only did Kolor Pros have the best quoted price, but the results are fabulous. Kathleen recommended changing the color of the porch railings from white to black, which we love.
