More like 3.5 stars. I'm never a fan of kosher restaurants but my job ordered from here and I can't turn down a free meal. I had the roasted vegetables and it came with Israeli salad, smoked eggplant, and hummus with pita. The vegetables and smoked eggplant were very good, as was the hummus and pita, but the Israeli salad was awful, completely tasteless. Generous portions though!

I was looking for something kosher for my client and stumbled on this spot. I called in and the man at first seemed upset about something but as we spoke he got more pleasant. I told him what I was looking for and he said he would have everything set for me at my budget for the next day. When I arrived I parked on the street. I walked in and told one man I was picking up. The man that took my order came to ring me up at the price he told me and thanked me. I left and dropped off the meal and ate mine after. I got the falafel platter and it was tasty and filling. Not a bad experience at all.

I came here expecting some schwarma in a pita. However in the middle of an empty afternoon, Perfect Pita could not serve up their signature dish. I was told to come back in an hour!! Far from perfect!

It was delicious! The pulled chicken was flavorful, and the pickled onions and cucumbers added a perfect crunch and zest that complemented the brown rice and kale beautifully. I chose to order directly from the staff instead of using the kiosks since it was my first visit, and I'm glad I did! They were incredibly friendly and helpful, even wiping down the outdoor tables for me. The prices are pretty standard for a fast-casual spot.

Their tag line of "Eat Juicy Chicken" compelled us in. Unfortunately, our first time was a bit of a flop. First, the positives. Placing your order is a cinch, either with one of many kiosks or with the folks at the counter. We opted for the latter since it was our first visit and we were paying with cash. Service at the counter was warm and friendly. While waiting for our meal, we also took notice of the wide array of pumps by the drink dispenser. They're all free sauces you can get to dress up your meal. But that was precisely where things kind of went meh. My husband's boneless breast meal was heavily sauced and rendered the whole thing a little too salty. My chicken Caesar salad was just fine, but I craved more texture (some croutons would've killed). I keep comparing our ho-hum experience to others who've raved about their meals here, and I think our mistake was two-fold: 1) We didn't order a chicken sandwich. I should've known better - when most of the signature items on a menu gravitate toward one type of item, it's a restaurant's way of hinting at their strengths. Opting to order a salad and a grilled chicken at a fried chicken place was a bad start. Learn from my mistakes. 2) We paired a saucy chicken with saucy sides. All three items in my husband's order - the meat, the Brussel sprouts, and the potatoes - were generously drizzled with a sauce. It's no wonder our taste buds breathed a sigh of relief whenever we had a bite of undressed crinkle cut fries; we were assaulting our mouths with salt and flavor. If you're a saucy person, have at it ; otherwise, I'd recommend creating a more balanced plate and ordering a few things without sauce so you can appreciate the cooking. Because in my heart of hearts, I believe items are well-prepared here; they're just doused in too much covering to be appreciated.

THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - As of March 2026, it's probably one of the worst McDonald's (aesthetically) we have been to in recent memory. ---- The exterior and interior are old and are not redesigned like newer locations. Some might like the vintage look though? ---- The dining area smelled of urine when we came by on a Friday evening. ---- The self-serve beverage machines are of the old variety too and are not the modern Coca-Cola Freestyle machines that are available at most fast food restaurants now. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Came by on a Friday evening and it was pretty busy, mostly takeout though. There were a few people/families dining in, but most left quickly after finishing their food.

Everything from the exterior, interior, layout, whatever, seems like it's stuck in the 1990s. I know that McDonald's are all independent franchises, and clearly the owner of location has done just the bare minimum to keep this place compliant with their franchise agreement. Service is bad, the interior is old and dirty. They don't even have the kiosks to order from. Go to any other McDonald's other than this.

Who knew? I emailed him and Jae Wong responded explaining that they still sell their dipping oil but it is sold as "spicy sauce" on the menus. Fast forward he has 3 locations in NJ and 1 was downtown Hawthorne, just 1.5 miles from me!! I just feasted on his recipes including the dipping oil!! Cant rave enough!! Beef was tangy spicy (but not too spicy) and crispy and it came out hot and fast. Appreciate the fact that the beef was not chewy or tough They also add these crispy onions on top of their bowls which is a nice touch. My boyfriend got the Cajun pork cutlet bowl over lo mein. You get to choose your base for the bowls which is nice. The lo mein noodles are thicker than the typical lo mein noodles you see at Chinese takeout, these look more like pho. Either way, I tried a bite and they were great and the flavors were there. My boyfriend also loves their soup and the homemade chips are awesome. In terms of ambiance this is more of a daytime spot. Not too many seats. It's very bright inside maybe because there's a lot of plants in there on the wall. It's still nice, just not that dim nighttime ambiance and there aren't a ton of seats . You place your order at the register or they also have a convenient self order kiosk. We will be definitely be back to try everything else on the menu.

Solid brunch spot with happy vibes…read more Some friends and I came for brunch, and one of our gluten-free friends suggested this spot because it's such a vegan/vegetarian/GF-friendly spot. The menu is deep and it's easy to get lost in the pages of choices. At a friend's recommendation, I tried the short rib hash. It's a bed of crispy tater tots, blanketed with tender short ribs, two eggs (prepared however you'd like), and a drizzle of three different sauces: hollandaise, sriracha aioli, and a cheese sauce. This was rich and decadent and the first few bites were fantastic. As you can imagine, the underlying tater tots got a little soggy towards the end and all the sauces felt a tad rich to truly finish the whole thing. Service was all right, though it was interesting how order deliveries were divvied up. We had a main server who took care of most of our needs, but several others who dropped by to deliver drinks and still another to bus tables. In the mix, some of our drink orders got mixed up and only the people in our party who explicitly asked for waters got them. Inside, the space is brightly lit and attractive. There's a good amount of seating, but on a Sunday lunch hour there was a small wait so it might be worth calling ahead if you're expecting to arrive during a heavy mealtime or coming with a large party. Bite is located in a larger complex with plenty of parking, but since there are so many other eateries and cafes, things can get a little tight around weekend lunch or dinner hours.
