As usual Tucker (our 5 year old Cavishaun) was left for 8 days and as usual was well cared for. He had a couple of cuddle times and a bath was given on the we retrieved him. It was a pleasure picking him and reviewing his report card outlining his stay. We take him to Puppy Day Care every Wednesday and he loves it. I was referred here by a friend who has a pretty assertive yet playful dog. So I took the chance and made a reservation. I have never ever received a call about any issues on any of his stays there. I have a 125lb boxer/American bulldog mix and he loves it there. The staff also writes amazing report cards, so I know everything about his stay there. They ensure to go over your dogs needs and any special accommodations when you make a reservation. They have plenty of yard space and even provides a tour of their facility. I will continue to take my baby there as he is treated well. One con: if they could update their website to reflect current pick up and drop off hours. I have no idea what I did in my life to have met these people, but they continue to be an absolute Godsend. I had to leave my baby Gabby for eight days, and to my utter shame, I got my days mixed up and thought today was their 3-6 day. No, it was their 1:00 closing day! I left the South Carolina resort before my check-out just so I could get there early for once, but noooooo, I screwed it up again! They called me at 1:15 to check in--not angry, as I deserved--but sweet, gentle, and accommodating! These people treat me like I'm family, not a recalcitrant customer! I arrived at 5:30, a ridiculous half an hour before closing (breaking 95 speed limits all the way), interrupted a young lady taking care of some gorgeous, clearly spoiled dogs, and she apologized to ME (the shamelessly late chick) for not noticing me standing there. Unbelievable! Then, she grabbed my Gabby and brought her out. Can I tell you that she was CHATTY ALL THE WAY HOME THE WAY SHE'S NEVER WITH ME?! May I add that she was fluffy (she's a Persian) and lit up like she'd been loved on all week?! I didn't look at the receipt because it doesn't matter what they charged me. If you're having a moment's doubt, forget it. If you love your baby, REALLY love your baby, BRING THEM HERE. PERIOD. read more

We've been lucky enough to have been able to board and train two dogs at Perfect Pet Resort over the past 17 years. We have counted on them consistently since 2005. The care and attention to our dogs has always been exceptional. They are also very nice to the parents! We cannot say enough good things about the staff and we know that our little one is safe there. He has slight anxiety issues, and from time to time and he's a bit bossy :) The staff reassures us with their kind attention and we feel they know our little Havanese well. Tyler and Lucy in particular have taken the time more than once to follow up with us on how our pup is doing. They are incredibly thoughtful and thorough about his care. Although this kennel looks and feels way above the run-of-the-mill kennel, you will pay the price. ON WEEKENDS THEY HAVE A TWO-NIGHT MINIMUM. I only needed to board my dog on Saturday night for $70.00 but on Sundays they don't open until 3:00 so you incur another day's fee. I only needed Saturday night but had to pay 140.00 which is equal to a two-night stay. In addition, unless you pay for extra services, your dog will be in a cage most of the time with only a couple of 45-minute playtimes. Also, if your dog hasn't been there before, you'll pay $35.00 extra dollars to have her evaluated. I will find a kennel that doesn't have a two-night minimum, is happy to meet my pooch for free, and allows her to socialize for more than a couple of hours a day. read more

We LOVE Perfect Pet! This was our first time leaving our Layla girl and we were very nervous. She had never spent any time away from family since we adopted her. But perfect pet made us feel so super comfortable and at ease. They even treated me with kindness when I would call in the vending to check on her. Amazing facility and very courteous staff. The grooming they provided was top-notch and our puppy had a wonderful time!

Let me start off by saying we have a Rottweiler. Mostly every establishment turns us away or makes us feel like we have a killer dog and they need to keep him separated from other boarding guest for "safety reasons". Not this place. His first stay here was a three day stay and I called twice to check on him and they assured me that he was fine and making new friends. I thought it was all talk until we went to pick him up. He was so happy and running around like a puppy again. They also gave him a good bath. We love this resort and it will be his vacation when he can't go with us on ours. To the resort, just in case they check in on what customers think, thank you for making our time away from Chuck easier and for making his stay there a little vacation from us lol. read more

We recently moved here and I was asking around for a place to take my Boston Terrier Oreo. No one could give me an answer. Luckily I was on FB and read about PerfectPetResort. I made an appointment to take a tour and speak with the people who worked there. They were Great. Their love of animals show. I've used this facility for many years, to care for my dog, Jack, and my two cat, Mika and Jolie while I am away on trips. Each time I retrieve them, they appear to be very relaxed as if they had taken a vacation. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. It's obvious that the staff loves animals. Our dog has boarded here twice now. We did not worry about her while we were away. Felt totally comfortable with the facility and the staff from the beginning. We liked that they required an orientation day before accepting her the 1st time in order to observe her temperament around the other dogs. They require that of all dogs, and we felt reassured by that in that no aggressive dogs would be part of her playtime. The facility has been very clean every time- we purposely stopped in to tour the facility the first time without an appointment. The staff have always been super friendly and all obviously love animals. The boarding fee is all inclusive of 3 playtimes per day in the yard with the other dogs, a spacious enclosure with a raised cot and a soft sheepskin, and all food. There are optional extras that you can add on, such as a bath, a nature walk, etc. Would highly recommend this business. read more

Very please with my experience. The customer service was amazing and our fur baby seem to really enjoy. The facility is clean. April showed us around and seemed very knowledgeable. There was another lady (can't remember her name), but she entertained our pup while doing the walk through. What blew me away was them remembering my in laws dog name and breed and how they love him. We started taking my dog here for day care when we first adopted him to give him some social play and exercise time and he has always loved it. They know him and treat him like family. After about 18 months when he went blind, they encouraged us to keep bringing him, and he still has a chance to walk and play and make new friends. My perfect boy, Henley is a rambunctious Goldendoodle who needs lots of love and affection absolutely loves this place. He knows where he is as soon as we pull into the driveway and immediately starts whining to get out of the car. He got to the entrance door before I did and started using his paw to try and knock on the door. He couldn't wait until a staff member came to get him to go back with his furry friends. My boy gets car sick so I never feed him before dropping him off. The staff are more than willing to feed him breakfast. I love this place and all of the staff. *PLEASE READ THIS IS IMPORTANT ***We recently went on a trip to California and left our beloved dog with perfect pet resort. We paid premium price so that our dog can be well taken care of. We trusted these people with our dog but when we came back from our trip I pick him up and noticed something wrong with his face. I called the nearest vet and took him in for emergency. His face was drooping on one side. We never received a call from perfect pet Resort to see if this was normal of him. I took a few pictures before we left for the trip and he's face wasn't like this. We called perfect pet Resort and told them what was going on and they told us they didn't know anything about it. We have to pay vet expenses and more for a neurologist. Perfect pet is far from perfect for you dog hopefully my lawyer will get the answer to see what happens to my dog when he was in your hands read more

We, mainly Brutus, love it. It is conveniently located just off the highway. The staff is plentiful, professional, caring and kind. They give him alot of playtime and the dogs are always in a playful manner.
