They use illegal tactics and run a HIGH risk of causing an infection in their clients. This "nail salon" is tacky and low class. I went here a couple times, the pedicure straight up sucked, I was scared of gettin athletes foot or something because it look unsanitary, the gel polish they used must be old or bad quality because it never lasted as long as when my usual nail lady did it (she moved so I had to look for a new place) .. the main reason I stopped going completely is because they filed my nails so low I walked out of the establishment in pain, my nail bed was burning. Please don't waste your time or money here... I decided to get a full set today and it turned out horribly. My nails were overly wide at the end and very very thick. The color was so uneven too. I ended up going to Jennys Nails by fresh market in south Ogden after my appointment with perfect nails and they are amazing. It took them only 25 minutes or so to fix my nails and repaint them. Love LOVE LOVE this place! Searched all around Yelp for a local nail salon while here on the holidays. I decided to go with "perfect nails" despite the lower star rating... And I'm glad I did! My nails turned out just that. Absolutely PERFECT! I'm shocked at some of the lower rates reviews. These ladies are friendly , work hard, and are artists. You can tell right away by the regulars lined up at the door. Of course there may be a wait on a sunny day before a holiday , but these girls made it a pleasure to wait. Trihn is a master at listening to what it is you want exactly and giving you that and more! (Which is rare.... I usually ask nail technicians to give me a certain shape , design and they flat out leave me feeling as if my requests were either dumb or not listened to) I love my nails SO much and will definitely make PERFECT nails my go to nail salon when I'm in town. My friend and I went in to get a manicure and pedicure for her wedding. Although we called ahead that we were running a little late, they seemed great and excited about still getting us in. The deluxe pedicure advertises a massage, but its really just rubbing on the scrubs and lotions. Not worth the extra $15. The pedicure turned out good. My full set manicure was going great until I didn't like the techs design. My tech, Trinh had used a sticker flower instead of painting on the flower. I understand she liked the sticker as a softer image to make the design delicate for the wedding. What I didn't understand why she used black nail polish as the accent color. When I asked for a painted flower instead of the sticker she became so flustered with me that she refused to paint a flower until I had a picture of what I wanted. By this point I couldn't even speak I was so embarrassed and upset for how I had been treated. My friend tried talking to Trinh, who she had worked with many times. Which seemed to only anger Trinh more. Finally Trinh told me told me "You need a break from me, go sit over there." And she called another client over. I have NEVER been so disrespected. read more

Saturday morning I called in for a fill. I asked if there were any openings to go in before I had to go to work. The person on the phone said yes they have had cancellations to go on in. I explained I had my children that I needed to drop off so I wouldn't make it right away, but in about an hour. She said "great got u down for 11:30" I was 7 minutes late when I got there. I was asked to sit down for 10 minutes to pick a color. As soon as the nail tech was done she went ahead & sat me down. I showed the tech a picture of what I wanted which was just a glitter ombre (no additional colors or designs) when I was showing the tech my pic Trinh the "Manager" looked over without even seeing the picture & said "U need to do something simple".. Um my response was "If I am going to pay & tip for service on my nails I would like to pick how I want them done". Trinh continued. "Angeline we had to squeeze u in so u need to pick a much more simple design". I wish that info was given to me over the phone or I would have went & paid $50 an hour for someone else to do my nails the way that I want. The tech I was showing my pic to said "it's fine I can do this in short time" & Trinh continued "You need pick something simple or u can come back later" she repeated to me about 3 times.. Irritated at this point & the tech was already taking off my gel. I let the tech continue without starting an argument. Keep in mind I am a returning customer & Trinh is usually who does my nails. So Trinh's client sits down next to me & asked how she was doing she replied "Just a stressful day because people don't show up on time for their appointments" I laughed because I knew she was talking about me & I was LIVID she had the nerve to talk about me right in front of me. For someone who has gone here more than a few times, always tips & has recommended a handful of friends to come here I have never ever felt this disrespected in a nail salon. It sucks cause I actually like the way my nails come out every time. But this time I couldn't wait to get out of there, she killed the vibe & made it awkward to me & the nail tech doing my nails that we barley spoke one word to each other I didn't even get her name. They overbook themselves & then take it out on paying customers. When I get my nails done it is something I look forward to & enjoy. It's "ME TIME" but I will never come back to this place ever again. For someone who has 15 years of customer service experience I am disgusted. If I could rate a 0 star I would. It was one of the WORST experiences I've ever had, and I've been doing my nails for years! They girl wearing short shorts and the only white gal in there, (I'm not racist) I was told 25-30$ at most but ended up paying 50$ for nails that started coming off a week later. The sides were hanging down touching my finger, the tips were uneven, And she was lazy and her kids were wondering around raising hell and being very obnoxious. One star is cause I can't give it 0 stars. I have never been treated so badly in my life. I came in for a basic fill. Before coming in I was quoted that a basic fill would be around $20. Which sounds reasonable right? I was charged $40 and begs the question; what the hell do you get for $20? A judgmental stare? On top of being over charged I have never and I mean NEVER been treated with such disrespect. My nail tech used too thick of gel layers and burned everyone of my nail beds. When I complained ( since I have never experienced this at any other salon) she said and I quote "I have sympathy for you but I also don't, I have sympathy cause I've experience that pain before, and I don't because you're paying me to do this." The services of massage and exfoliation with the pedicure is at a price that can't be beat for the quality. I came in to get nails for the first time. It was fun at first until my nail techs friends came in for an appointment and then I was not important anymore. She did my nails so fast that they are crooked, there are sharp edges, and some nails are longer than others. I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to be how acrylic nails are. I would have much rather have had Trin or the other Asian lady because they took their time on their clients nails. In town and needed a manicure. This was fairly close by. I had my own polish. The owner interrogated me about the type of polish I had. The woman giving the manicure didn't have a clue how to use a nail file, although she was quite pleasant. The owner was so unpleasant.
