Not sure where to begin, I suggest looking at Yelp (like I should've done) for real reviews with the clear pattern of behavior that I just experienced. Had an introductory call with Nancy 2-ish weeks ago where I was actually impressed by how thorough her line of questioning was. We discussed the size of my home in detail, rooms/bathrooms, state of the house (last professionally cleaned), etc. and agreed on price (which was higher than our usual rate with other cleaners) and services to be offered. There was no mention of time/labor hours or anything whatsoever (not unusual to me given our usual service just comes and leaves when they finish, very regretfully they were unavailable at this time). They came and were on the verge of leaving after 2 hours (usual service takes 3-4). I immediately noticed things that clearly had not been done and pointed it out, the gentleman here was very apologetic, said it was unacceptable and made the lady come back for 3 mins to fix that - good sign I thought. Before they left again, I asked whether the living and dining rooms had been fully mopped and vacuumed and was assured that they were. They were not, I took pictures and called Nancy. She agreed that it was unacceptable and the bare minimum expectations had not been met. Asked her if they could come back to finish but was told they had moved to their next client and would not be able to return as I had used up my 2-hour allotment (which I was unaware I had or I would've never hired bc I know it takes more than that to finish properly). Was offered a slight discount on the next cleaning - told them I don't want a discount, I just want what was agreed upon to be done this time. Was told to kick rocks essentially, then she hung up in my face to take another phone call. Beware, I promise you'll be better served finding an alternative service. read more

I have never hired a cleaning service before, so I was not sure what to expect. Though her communication skills weren't great when I was texting her (didn't confirm the appointment, price, etc, left me on read more than once), her quoted price of $180 for 900 square feet seemed reasonable, and I spent 2 hours putting things away moving furniture, and generally getting ready so their job of cleaning would be easier. I withdrew $200 in cash with mind to tip. She arrived 2 hours late. When she arrived, she started talking about how it looked like the apartment had "never been cleaned," which is insane. It wasn't spotless, but it's about in the middle in terms of cleanliness of apartments of friends, relatives, and colleagues that I've been to. After that insult, she starts going on and on about all the things she will need to do. She says it'll take 4 hours of labor (2 hours x 2 people) and that she can only do that several days later. After finally getting a word in, I say that my priority is to get the floors in the kitchen and living room clean, and that everything else is secondary. We agree to $200 for that, which she says will take an hour. When they leave, there are still huge spots which haven't been cleaned AT ALL on the floor, debris which a quick and simple sweep would have taken care of, and the spots I pointed out as being particularly important have been barely cleaned. The floors, which weren't sticky beforehand, are now sticky EVERYWHERE. I cannot recommend keeping away from this woman and her services enough. I should have withheld payment for such shoddy service, but I was simply tired at that point. read more

Terrible cleaning service was promised at 3:30 they came at 4:30 when arrived they were very rude and once i saw the way he was dusting and she was cleaning the bathroom i was disgusted but what triggered me is when the man stepped on my bed sheets with his shoes to clean my fam i kicked them out my house. I have used Nancy and Pedro for house cleaning services for the past five years and over two homes. They are flexible, reliable, trustworthy and consistently do a great job cleaning our home. Nancy has always been very patient with accommodating last minute cleaning requests too. I have recommended them to several friends who also use them as regular house cleaners. It's also nice to pay a small business versus using a bigger cleaning service company that doesn't pay their employees as well or treat them as well. read more

Poor quality service and lack of trustworthiness. Do not trust their initial quote, they will change when they get to the house. I communicated with Nancy via text and she quoted a price after I explained which areas need cleaning. I even texted the summary to her and asked her to confirm, and she did. A gentleman showed up at my house and increased their initial quote by another $50, which I finally agreed to pay. He said that Nancy's estimate was wrong. There is definitely a lack of communication between the staff. After they left, I noticed that there is still dust all over the kitchen countertops and bathroom tubs. I am not satisfied with the service as I did not received what I was promised, and do not recommend them at all. read more

I communicated with Nancy via text and she quoted a price after I explained which areas need cleaning. We only needed our kitchen, laundry room, and two and half bathrooms cleaned. The house is an overall clean house hense why we don't need the bedrooms cleaned. This month we're just too busy to deep clean and was hoping to hire someone to help. Nancy gave me one quote via text but when she saw how excited I was about the price, she called to retract her price to increase it by tripple what she quoted via text. Nothing changed in our agreement but the price. She didn't see the house and we didn't add rooms. She just called to increase her price claiming they usually charge $500 for an initial cleaning! We have been using Perfect Maids for about 3 years. They are wonderful! We tried a few cleaning services before settling in them. They do wonderful work and their price is reasonable. They don't even mind working around my Great Pyrenees who has a tendency to be very noisy. Pedro and Nancy are also so friendly and helpful. With relatively short notice, they made room in their schedule to do a deep cleaning so that we could have our house sparkling before it went on the market. If they service the area we move to, I'll have them come to that house as well. read more

So good!! My apartment has never been this clean, not even when I moved in. They communicated clearly when they would arrive and were available on the day I requested. Even though it is not easy to park near my apartment they did not complain about getting to us. Their attention to detail is great. I noticed so many small touches like they even cleaned up the dirt around my plants. Past other maid services have always broken something in my home or done a poor job cleaning. Nancy and her "Perfectmaid Cleaning Service" are scammers. I provided detailed information on the size of my house via text and phone conversation. Nancy gave me an "exact price." When she arrived, she claimed it was bigger than she expected. When shown the text with her, she backtracked but still tried to charge triple. This company gives low quotes to get through the door then dramatically increases them. The next cleaning company I hired gave me an estimate, called it an estimate up front, and stuck with their price. read more
