Ryan is the bomb! experienced and creative. I have been going to Ryan for a while and he never disappoin!

I wouldn't go anywhere else. Shannon, my sylist, is THE best! AND he's a super-interesting guy with a great sense of humor. I always have a great time having my hair cut and walk away looking infinitely better than when I arrived. read more

This salon can fit you in faster than any other salon I know! Young, one of the hair stylists, is also another highlight of my trip for a quick haircut of a friend. She is a very likable and knows what she's doing. I love her service, she recommended to me a perfect blowout serum for my hair-- especially a red one because for now, my hair is red. The brands they carry are animal friendly and I chose Goldwell Kerasilk for the brand that compliments red. The salon's exterior is obviously not attractive, because it's super hidden and honestly, if it wasn't for Yelp, then I would look the other cheek. But once exploring this salon, the mirrors are a chestnut brown and it's very clean!! If I ever run out of Goldwell hair care supplies, this is literally where I'll go to restock my shelf. Their shampoo selections are impressive, and I know i'm emphasizing that, but it's amazing for sure! read more

I came out to Denver to see my dad and needed a trim badly I haven't had my hair trimmed for a year because of the pandemic and Shannon did an amazing job. Next time I'm in Denver I will certainly come back thanks read more

Bonnie, did a great job with my hair! I showed her picture and she cut and styled it in the same way.

This is my first time at Perfect Cuts. They got me in the next day and did an by awesome job. I hadn't been in to have my hair done anywhere since before Covid so I really brought them a mess. I had Bonnie. She gave me a great cut, asked questions and made sure that I could still twist it up and get it off my neck. I was just really impressed with the whole place. Lots of people came in, some were walkins, and they all seem to leave happy. Great place, highly recommend it and Bonnie. read more

Found this salon via the Olaplex website & was able to make a Saturday appointment by calling just two days ahead. Staff is very friendly and professional. They know their stuff and are able to answer any hair questions. My appointment was with Young, who did a nice job with my Opaplex treatment. She took her time explaining the process and gave me the best scalp massage ever. Not kidding. Trying out a new salon is always anxiety inducing, but I would trust her with coloring or even cutting my hair. While the jury is still out on how well the Olaplex repaired my tired and thirsty strands, I will definitely be back to see Young. She comes across really experienced and knowledgeable. Even though they're not in a trendy hood or particularly bougie, they use Kerasilk products and Goldwell color, which are pretty top of the line. Their prices are very reasonable, although the price list should be taken with a grain of salt, as those are the starting prices. Depending on your particular hair, there could be an up-charge. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem. read more

Very nice neighborhood salon great for the entire family. Friendly & knowledgeable stylists! Goldwell color artists they are worth it! This small salon in a strip mall has plenty of parking with Easy access for wheelchairs and walkers. Super clean with flexible hours you can usually get in fast. Just give them a call. We've used both Shannon and Young they're very talented. read more

I got a keratin treatment done by Bonnie this past weekend and I am in love with the results. Bonnie took her time to ensure that I left with amazing results. My hair feels so much healthier, softer, and smoother. I can not thank her enough for the great deal of effort she put into making my hair look good. I will definitely be going back there in the future! The entire staff is super friendly and create a welcoming environment for all. read more

Just moved to Denver & was a bit anxious about trying out a new hair stylist. Checked out the Yelp reviews for Perfect Cuts. Kept seeing these great comments about Shannon & Young & decided to give em a try. I booked appointment with Shannon & quite simply, he ROCKS! Once I gave him the style I wanted he went to work & he was great about explaining how my ideas would work or if there is a better option. Especially with my wicked, wicked cowlick on the back of my head. Which, oddly enough, no other stylist has ever mentioned to me. Shannon is a chill dude with a soft touch on the sale of the hair care products. He also doubles as a travel agent with great ideas for this newcomer to the area to consider. And Young didn't style my hair, but she was my first contact in the door & an absolute sweetheart! Give em a shot. You won't be disappointed! read more

This was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time with a salon. My boyfriend has been seeing Shannon since he moved to Colorado three years ago, and suggested I do the same. I called at 9am and was booked the same day with Shannon for a cut and color. My hair was long, thick and badly colored which is basically a hairstylist nightmare. Yet, Shannon managed to help me walk out feeling refreshed as well as beautiful. Thank you Shannon for boosting my confidence within a few hours. I will certainly be back! read more

Young has been cutting my husband's hair for many years and he thinks she's the best. So I decided to try her salon "Perfect Cuts". It is a spotless, stylishly decorated salon. I was really pleased with my haircut. Young did a great job! She offers an array of services at competitive prices. I'll be back! read more

My last haircut was over 8 months ago. Having put a pause on haircare since the pandemic started, I began my search on Yelp for a new hair stylist. I moved to the area last year, but hadn't found someone I liked yet. Checked out the reviews for this place then made a call. The receptionist was very friendly, looked to fit me in on certain days, and explained the COVID screening procedures. I was thrilled they wore masks, did temperature checks and had hand sanitizer everywhere. I had my haircut with Shannon. He was extremely capable and professional. He explained the water temperatures I should be using to wash and condition my hair, how to keep the CO air from affecting my scalp, and what layers I should have if I prefer a super low maintenance haircut. I liked the laid back atmosphere, it was friendly and not stuck-up. I also liked that they were up front about the cost (for my length of hair, past the shoulders the haircut was $40). Having called other locations where they charge $70-$80 (I can't really justify that kind of money during the pandemic especially because my hair isn't complicated to cut) I feel like Perfect Cuts gave me great value for my money. It was a great experience and I'll be back again! read more

Young is fabulous! What else to say? Heh, well, if you have not been here, you will not know! My husband and I have gone to her for over 12 years now. We met her at a previous salon before she opened her very own place: Perfect Cuts. I enjoy her other staff as they are personable and friendly. I cannot speak to their talent as out of loyalty, we do not see anyone but Young. Amidst this climate of pandemic and other unrest in our country, Young made it through to re-open a few weeks ago. Sadly, mainly to my husband's chagrin, she cannot trim beards or other facial hair - yet. However, we have both had our hair cut (and mine colored) since she re-opened. My hubby loves her attention to detail and great eye for being balanced and even throughout trimming his short hair. My color and cut came out just as I wanted. Yet, this is not the greatest part of our visits. Her salon's cleanliness and attention to customer and stylist care was impeccable! There were two air filters, temperature taking prior to care, a signature acknowledging your temperature and that you are healthy to be seen plus a freshly sanitized pen to use. The gowns were single use, tools sanitized between use, chair sanitized between use, towels only for that patron, and everyone had masks and gloves on. Gloves were changed often between surface touching. Upon check-out, she sanitized the pen and card before handing it to you. Young continues to rock it out. She is amazing! Stay safe and healthy, Young, Shannon, Bonnie, and Ryan! (If I missed someone, sorry, but be safe, too!) read more

I've been a regular customer to Perfect Cuts since 2015, and come to get my haircut here every 2-3 weeks. I continue to come here for 3 reasons: (1) great value for the price, (2) they take appointments, (3) and consistently great haircuts. This for me differentiates Perfect Cuts from their competitors that often have unpredictable wait times, unpredictable results, can be pretentious or fail to retain their talent. When I lost my previous regular barber, I was really nervous about the process of finding a new reliable barber. But then I found Shannon and I've been personally coming to see Shannon for my haircuts all these years. When I sit in Shannon's chair, I feel confident that I'll leave with an awesome haircut that meets or exceeds my expectations. And when I want to shake things up with a new style, Shannon is really easy to communicate with to achieve the look I want. I also appreciate his candidness when the style I want might not suit me, but then I also appreciate his recommendations and guidance on alternatives that might work. My recommendations for a great haircut: schedule an appointment and have open communication with your barber/stylist. read more

Best place to get your haircut. I have been getting my hair done with Young for years. She is always welcoming and her staff is friendly. All the hairstylist are experienced and talented in their craft. I like Young because her hair is similar to mine so she knows how to style it best. I have long dark brown straight hair. I usually get a cut and a deep condition. I have brought my family here and they all love this place too. If you want to feel and look great, treat yourself to Perfect Cuts. read more

I am super picky about my hair, but I really wanted a change. Shannon was absolutely phenomenal! He came highly recommended by a friend, so I scheduled the appointment and was not disappointed! The cut comes with a shampoo, and since it was my first time he gave me a deep conditioning treatment. He also gives the best head massages! He made sure my hair was exactly how I wanted it, and I couldn't be happier. The salon was very clean, and had a comfortable and professional environment. I am never going anywhere else! read more

Was looking for a place open Sundays, near my house & this was it. I have medium length hair that is thick so it was getting really heavy. I called in & made an appointment with Bonie, I went in & explained to her what I wanted, showed her a picture for reference and she did a really good job! She kept the length & added lots of layers, my hair looks full & best thing is, it feels super light! Will definitely go back to Bonie. read more

Young is the best! Her prices are very reasonable and I always get a good cut and color! I can't believe some of the reviews on here. I have sent several people to her and they are wowed by her too! Everywhere I go people come up to me and ask me who does my hair. While I often keep it trimmed myself - Young is the best at getting my hair professionally done. I have to believe some of the reviews about her are absolutely incorrect or over-dramatized. I highly recommend Young and it looks like Shannon is great too, although I have never gone to him. read more

I have been a customer for nearly one year ! Bonnie is the best she does such an amazing job !great prices and great cuts - a must for south Denver read more

Do NOT go here. They can do either good or very bad. They will mess up your hair and then yell at YOU as if you had done the wrong, then tell you that they won't fix it 'for free'. They also misquote and overcharge -- BEWARE. Once I was quoted $40 and paid over $80. Another time a girl messed up my hair and she quoted me $40 TO FIX HER OWN MISTAKE and then charged $120!! Then she ruined it AGAIN and would not fix it...then she yelled at me (literally). That was Yasmin. Sometimes the staff is great, but all they care about is the bottom line - not your hair or the customer! You can show an EXACT PHOTO of what you want and they do something totally different! I spent $250 and lots of tears there before I had to go somewhere else to have it done. Do NOT get your hair done there! It's my fault for letting them touch my head again but like I said, they can be great or terrible. Don't take your chance. Spend your money where people know what they are doing and will stand by their work. read more

After reading the reviews, I went here and requested young. I would give her 5 stars for the cut and 0 stars for the color. I cut 10 inches off and went with a super short style. She did great with the cut. The color is another story. She kept saying how great a color it was. When I got outside and saw it in the natural light, it was orange not blonde. When I tried to talk to her about it, she refused to give me a refund and told me she would charge me to fix it. I would have gone back every month for a trim if she had just refunded my color. Instead I had to go elsewhere. No way was I going to go back to have her screw up the color again. Use caution when going here. read more

Myself, all of my family and many friends use Young and it doesn't get any better. We followed Young from Supercuts when she left there to open the Perfect Cuts store and have never regretted it! read more

Came here based on recommendations, and was pleased with my cut. Try to get Young to do your hair.

My daughter went in for a trim and was charged $40.00! Yes she has longer hair, but it was just a trim. When she tried to find out why it was so much, she was told because she has long hair and when she asked to talk to the manager, she was hung up on. My daughter is on a budget and $40 for a trim is a big hit. This salon needs to be upfront with their fees and needs to learn basic manners. I was not there but my daughter is furious and frustrated with the whole situation. I have no idea if these stylists are any good but I do know they have no experience in dealing with the public. Ask questions before you have anything done and avoid being taken!!!! read more

I love Young! I always ask for her specifically. I have short, thick hair, and every salon I've gone to, no matter how much I told them 'I'm trying to grow it out', would hack away, like they were doing me a favor. And a poor hacking job at that. I have short hair, and no one does it so nicely like she does (especially because my hair has a tendency to make a "wave"). I've been stopped and complimented about my hair quite a few times. read more

Shannon is AWESOME!!!! He has been my "hair person" for 4 years, and the condition of my hair has improved dramatically. He is open to ideas, will give his ideas. But will always do you have requested. read more

The first time Young cut my hair it was a little short but okay. The second and LAST time I asked her to take off ONE inch (it had been 4 months since my last haircut) around chin length. Instead she took off at least 2 1/2 inches a little below my ears,it doesn't turn under well anymore and the back is barely an inch long. I didn't realize how butchered it looked as my eyesight is poor, until I got home. She did say several times, "It's pretty short" but I trusted her to follow the length instructions I had given her. Never again! read more

I DO NOT recommend this place at all. Went in to get full highlights. This BARELY made a difference in my hair, all of my friends/family tell me they can't see a difference. On top of that, the woman blow dried my hair without asking me, so I assumed it was just a normal service. I spent the whole time sitting there thinking about how I couldn't wait to go home and shower to undo her styling, because I looked like an 80's housewife (NOT in a good way). But then was charged $18 extra, for a service I did not ask for- and the woman didn't even ASK if I wanted my hair dried. Will definitely not ever be going again. read more

I am impressed with this salon! Quality service with reasonable prices. Shannon is my hairstylist and is very knowledgeable and gives great suggestions of what I want to accomplish with my hair. He did my ombre and I received plenty of compliments! The color lasts forever and doesn't fade out. I love how Young, the owner, and her staff attends or educates themselves with new, improve ways in the salon industry. read more
