We walked into the place pretty late & by mistake since it had started to rain & we needed a place to eat. cute place, nothing too crazy . two floors they have tv to watch sports , music on. the bartendor put on a little show for u behind the bar & after he is done u get one of the shots he prepares. we sat down for pizza & beer. i had peroni beer love this beer really good. my pizza was mozzarella , prosciutto & hot salami ... this was really good , thin crust too so u dont feel like such a pig eating a whole pie so late. my date had the marguerita pizza, good as well. read more

I wanted to give a zero, however since that's not posible, I give a one. Came here for breakfast today and asked for a water, a redbull, and a NUTELLA waffle. First thing I notice is that my "Nutella" waffle is in fact not Nutella. It is some generic chocolate sauce (like the Hershey's chocolate syrup). When I get the check, my small water had been charged as a large. When I spoke to the waiter about this, he told me that since they were on the piazza they could charge whatever they please. He also said that the price displayed was doubled when a customer sits down inside. Do not come here unless you want your money taken away from you. read more

The food here is horrible. I wanted to spit out my sandwich. The coffee was weak and only one stall for the toilet with at least 100 seats. Not the best place to eat though. Very nice spot right around the corner from our hotel - recommended by the hotel staff for a quick breakfast. Great choice. Situated on a very busy corner named Barberini - great place for a croissant and cup of espresso and watch the Rome world go by. Excellent service from Mose - so much so we came back the next day for breakfast as well. They also do a light lunch, but we did not try that (this trip). Located in the Piazza Barberini, this is a great place to stop for lunch while exploring Rome! The sandwiches in the deli window lured us in! However what we got was half the size and not as stuffed. Busy but friendly. I spied a table for four at the back from the sidewalk so we grabbed it fast as it was hot out. The waitress was efficient, if not rushed, and friendly. She steered us to more expensive stuff. At the end she told us to go to the cashier to pay. My friend and I shared a "Tramezzini" Pollo. Prime location for a spectacular view of the streets of Rome. This spot had a variety of food, alcohol, and dessert that was on display. Very chilled setting compared to the roaring traffic going past. The staff are really friendly but please be aware they are very adamant they will bring a menu to you if you sit outside. Why?! It's located in a prime area that's great for people watching if you get a table outside but that also means you're squished near all the foot traffic of the street. It is a very low price-you get a sandwich for less than 6 euros and it's ok but still not worth it. The staff hardly pays any attention to any of the tables from my observation. It took me at least 5 mins trying to wave down any wait staff. When one finally came over she appeared to be very displeased. You go to the register to pay your tab and then happily leave. Was wandering around this area one morning looking for a reasonably-priced quick lunch bite that looked decent. Found a number of places where the sandwiches were quite overpriced, and a number where the sandwiches didn't look up to par, then we found this place, and were happy enough with the prices and the quality. This bar is really cute inside but I was so disappointed with the food. I ordered a tuna sandwich with eggs and when I got it there was barely anything in my sandwich. It was so sad. TOURISTS STAY AWAY! Horrible service...the cashier and waiters are absolute con men! I went up to the bar and ordered something simple, 2 pastries and 2 esspresso. Everything in Rome has two prices - standing room (bar) is one price and a table with a seat has another price. Being aware of that, we decided just to consume something from the bar. So it is paid for and the order arrives. At this point my wife wants to sit down, so I tell the waiter that I am aware that I have to pay a "table fee" so I tell him just to add the difference to the bill. I get a second bill for the same items + table fee. The staff is adamant that I have to pay. So a haggling in bad English ensues for over 30 minutes with an ugly scene straight out of a Felini movie. I considered calling the police as it is definitely customer abuse and double charge. Considering that the bill was a ridiculous 10 euro I decided to leave instead and have this as one of my memories of Rome. As a contrasting experience, I have to say that on my trip thru Italy I've received amazing service in many other places and this place was definitely the exception to an amazing visit. read more

The food was incredibly bland. I ordered the club sandwich for 6€ and it was mushy with very little flavor, I didn't even end up finishing half of it. My friend got the Greek salad for 7€ and it was also very bland - not very fresh. The service was pretty mediocre as well, we felt as though we were being ignored. We did watch many people around us get amazing looking drinks so that's why I'm leaving two stars. Third night here. We have only come for a nightcap, so can't speak to the food. They have a good bar selection, particularly the scotch. Prices on par with US. Sit on the street facing Bernini Piazza, nice breeze and lots of people watching. Most patrons are friendly and we had some great conversations. Our waiter Francesco was great and attentive. Our scotch came on a mini pallet with dark chocolate and strawberries. We'll never drink scotch again without a chunk of chocolate. read more
