I was really happy I came here. I was pretty hangry by the time I found the Lateran Basilica, and felt it was wise to eat lunch before I went inside. This place delivered. Attentive and expedient service, clean, reasonable price points, and tasty food. I ordered the Lasagna Bolognese and Caesar Salad, which to my delight came with grilled chicken included. After a long night cheering on the Trojans of USC and partaking of many birrea and sharing both football and futball experiences with a group of Brazilians here in Rome we 1st needed to get back to the metro (subway) to get back to our Airbnb. #1 the last metro runs at 1:30am local time. #2 taxies don't answer when it's raining??? #3 we're 10 minutes away from the metro and its 1:20am So, we catch the metro, get back to our place, discover the restaurant next door stays open till 5:00am!!!!! It advertises itself as an Irish pub and its pretty large as Roman restaurants go. Bottom line I had the lasagna, it was great and a mista salad that too was great. On top of all this we get a 10% discount for mentioning we are staying in Franco's place Great service and food. We'll be back. read more

Looked like a pretty cool Irish pub so we decided to stop in for lunch. We were basically the only people there and the waitresses were very friendly and helpful. Really cool decor inside makes you feel at home. I ordered the Ambaradam burger, my wife got the pasta with pesto and my father in law got a double cheeseburger. Ordered Guinness and whiskey as well. The Guinness was good and their whiskey selection was pretty big. My burger was pretty good, had fresh tomato and lettuce and the bun was fantastic. The beef was cooked properly at a medium and showed a bit of pink. Pretty solid selection here and the food was good. A bit pricey for what it is though. Overall pretty good place to stop for a bite or drink if you're craving one in this neighborhood. read more

This small restaurant holds a special place in our heart since it was our first stop during our culinary adventures around Italy. We hadn't researched it or even knew about it but we happened to run into it the afternoon we landed. From the start, we fell in love with the decor and attentive staff. It was 12pm on a Saturday and it was quite empty, which was exactly what we needed after a 9hr flight. Upon opening the menu, you're greeted by a message from the restaurant: "We serve only organic vegetables and earth products made and offered by the farm Agrimarks located in Nepi(vt), via Umilta 3577". This was great! I ordered the Fetuccine ai porcini (mushrooms) and my boyfriend ordered the Tonnarelli ala gricia (pasta with pecorino cheese and bacon). They were both perfectly al dente and delicious! Note: I recommend sitting close to the entrance when it's not that busy; we had trouble getting the waitresses' attention since they don't come by the table that often. Either get up and ask for the check politely or try to wave at them when you see them. read more

The downside: 2 of us ordered 2 beers, an appetizer, and 2 main courses. 25 minutes later, I had to go to the bar for the drinks. 40 minutes after ordering, the caprese arrived. 80 minutes after ordering I had a conversation with the waitress and the food came 10 minutes later. Their service seemed good in general, since everyone around us had eaten and gone by the time our appetizer arrived. We may have been an anomaly for them. No sorry or your food is on the way. It just showed up. Mediocre. Fries were good, pasta was from a box. To summarize, good environment. Try it out, just hope you don't have the same experience. We went here because our hotel has a deal with this cafe to provide its guests with complimentary breakfast. The food is amazing. The service isn't. The waitresses are polite, but take an eternity to bring you things. Our waitress also didn't know how to use the credit card machine when we went to checkout, so we had to pay in cash. read more

We came here for dinner. We were seated promptly inside, there's AC and free wifi. I got the pasta with tomato sauce and bacon & my boyfriend got the cheese and spinach ravioli and the veal in lemon sauce. All of the dishes were absolutely delicious! Inside decor is also very cool, like an old school tavern. I guess it's supposed to be an Irish pub anyway. I would recommend this place for dinner! Prices are average.
