    Gluten free cake

The inside of this place is so insanely cool, you just have to find it! Cute little cafe with stores surrounding it. Went for a sweet and got a gluten free orange pistachio cake, it was moist and delicious! The employees were very sweet and attentive. Great spot to chat!

Loved this little place! The bagel had the best taste and chew, scones were amazing, and the Victoria sponge cake was unbelievable!!! Definitely coming back on my next trip to Dublin.

Pretty cups and teapots combined with delicious baked goods make this the perfect spot to take a break from sightseeing and rest tired feet. Located in the repurposed city home of the Powerscourt family, The Pepperpot is on the second floor overlooking the courtyard area. It was fun to watch people come and go. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient, the tea and shortbread both yummy. Pop in for a restorative beverage and treat. You know those pastries are calling your name!

I have been coming here for lunch since I moved to Dublin two years ago. I love this shopping center. You can sit on the balcony and people watch while you have lunch The soup is always a good choice. The tarts have all been fabulous. They try to use Irish sourced products. I highly recommend this place on a gloomy cloudy day. You can stay dry while still seeing the light outside. Staff very friendly.

This was my first breakfast in Ireland and I'm not sure what I was expecting but the food here was average. There were limited items on the menu and nothing stood out except the scone and the fluffy eggs. The restaurant is located inside of a shopping center.

Hidden inside a building, super cute gem. Loved the seating and area. It was crowded for a weekday, but we got seated within 5-10 minutes. Our waitress was a little aloof and didn't understand what we were asking for.. but we got it after the 4th time. Plus it was SUPER cold there.. so I sat with my jacket on the whole time. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a bagel. It was basically a bagel with scrambled eggs, but it was DELICIOUS! Super messy, but completely worth it. Boyfriend had the salmon bagel sandwich and also loved it. We shared a scone and it was great. Highly recommend checking this place out!

    Scone with jam and cream

We discovered this gem on a food tour. They make small batch, homemade bagels which truly do rival New York's. We tried a bagel sandwich with bacon and cream cheese - weird combo but it totally works. I also had a delicious scone with jam and cream. It was good, but maybe a bit dense for a scone. I also sampled a bite of my boyfriends red pepper and goat cheese sandwich. First of all, it was colossal. It was good, but needed something else other than just those ingredients - it was too much goat cheese and a bit dull. It is a tight space and we were seated next to another two top and it was really snug.

I don't know what the fuss is about this place. It was very busy on a Saturday morning and we were happy to get a table. I ordered a latte and a salmon, cream cheese bagel and it came with a small side salad. To be honest, there was nothing special and I was a bit disappointed as my friend had raved about it.

Roast pear, bacon & cheese sandwich

#Dublinshopslocal Came back here on a stormy Sunday day for lunch (not brunch as no alcohol) They have a lovely menu with a couple of specials but I chose the roast pear, bacon and cheese sandwich again and an Americano. They serve Ariosa coffee. Beautiful setting. Powerscourt centre is ready for Christmas and it is fab. The staff are always v pleasant. The sandwich though!!! OMG the bread was chunky but so soft and the filling was delicious. You can see why it's so popular... Wouldn't have put pear and bacon together but it was still oh sooo v good :) You should def try here!

    I want that teapot. Stat!

Had a very lovely salad here yesterday. Strawberries, rocket, toasted halloumi, and (as requested as an extra by myself), bacon, with a kind of a tangy dressing on top. It was really, really good. Not an awful lot in it though (only three small bits of halloumi, and maybe the guts of two strawberries cut up), so definitely not worth the tenner price tag. It also came with the inclusion of some surprise cucumber which I wasn't too enamoured with! It's a lovely setting though, looking down over Powerscourt, drinking out of cute china, with the rain pouring on the glass ceiling above. I would go back and try something else, but just hope to get more bang for my buck next time!

Scrambled egg with mushroom on toast & cup of mushroom soup (€10)
    Andy O.

Pepperpot Cafe made me look forward to being hungover. Wait...what? As I ate the delicious scrambled eggs on a thick buttered wedge of toast, with a meaty giant mushroom on top, and sipping moreish mushroom soup, I thought "If I was hungover now, this would be curing me". And by god I'll be willing to put it to the test come my nearest weekend. The location is a nice one as you get to look out over powerscourt shopping centre from a high balcony. It's like the best part of being outside, but you're inside, caus Ireland! A definite recommend.

    Sausage sandwich

Oh man, I love the sausage sandwich here; just thinking about it makes me drool. Sausage sandwich. Sausage sandwich. Sausage sandwich. That's all I can really say about this place - amazing sausage sandwich. Also, the elderflower fizzy drink they have here? Yum! The quiches are quite decent as well. I love sitting up here as the space is always sunny from the glass roofs. You may have to suffer a wait though for a seat - Pepperpot gets pretty crowded and hectic busy.

Pulled pork with apple slaw and relish
    Darren C.

This is the kind of place you'd dream of if you were looking to open your own wee cafe. Such a wonderful location, great friendly staff, super tasty variety of foody stuffs with unbeliveable desserts and coffee. I had the pulled pork, apple slaw with an incredible tangy relish. Honestly, I wasn't even that hungry and yet I was practically licking the plate!! Our party of three shared the chocolate cake which was decadent, moist and most importantly full of chocolate. They have a grest facebook page btw!!

Since I don't eat red meat, I was very excited to see a vegetarian Irish breakfast option. I ordered this as well as a mocha latte. Despite the rain, my friend and I sat outside since all of the indoor seating was occupied. Thankfully some heaters provided warmth for what could've been a chilly breakfast. Very quickly the lattes came out which my friend and I sipped on. They were soooo cute, mine had the design of a little bear on top! The latte itself was hot and not too sweet, the perfect start to the experience. After a few short minutes, the food came out! Immediately, my friend and I dug in. It was honestly everything I expected and even more! There were no weak links on the plate and there were generous portions as well. I sat there for a while working my way through my delicious plate!! Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Beanhive. It was an aesthetic cafe that also provided a hearty breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

The first day we arrived to Dublin, I had a bit of a headache. I sent my husband in search of coffee and a bite in the hopes of warding off the headache. He brought back a tuna melt and mocha from The Bald Barista. Both were excellent. The tuna melt was herbaceous and flavorful and the mocha was the perfect blend or rich chocolate and strong espresso. So, a few days later when my mom arrived and was hoping for coffee and a bite, I said--I've got just the place! On that visit, we enjoyed our coffee and food in house. You order at the counter where you enter and if you're dining in, you simply take the stairs to the dining room and they'll bring you both your food and coffee. This time, I ordered the same coffee (why mess with a good thing) and a yogurt with everything (fruit, nuts, seeds--the works!). The shop itself is cute, warm, and inviting. The service is top notch with beautifully friendly folks working in here (including the Bald Barista himself). They prepare and serve up coffee as a city better than any other city in the world. Sorry Seattle, Portland, its the truth. As a full fledge coffee nerd/snob I am looking for great coffee nothing more. Also if they don't roast their own beans and they are just serving someone else's coffee they will never get above a 3 star from me. I am looking strictly at the coffee and the customer service in my reviews. Accents was fantastic. When I walked in the Barista, a pretty little red headed Irish woman was doing some spectacular latte art on a Mocha, she smiled and asked me what I would like. I order just a regular Latte. They do not roast their own beans, but she was out of coffee in the grinder, she reached for a new sealed bag and I caught the name, McCabe's. I was unfamiliar so afterward I looked them up. here is the link if anyone is interested. (https://mccabecoffee.com) Local award winning Cork roaster. I watched the Barista, fill the grinder and then told me it would be a minute as she needed to dial in the espresso. I shook my head in a circle like I didn't get it but okay. She had it dialed in after 3 shots. looked like 18 in and 36 out. She was a pro, steamed my milk while the shot pulled in about 24 seconds. I ordered my drink to go but it was still presented with great art and a smile. Told me where the sugar and lids were but suggested I tried it before i added anything, that the espresso is very good. I tasted it and said, "You are right, needs nothing" and it didn't. BEST LATTE I HAVE HAD THIS TRIP TO DUBLIN.
