I ordered a make your own omelet with sausage, cheddar, and mushrooms, and at just $9.85 for a three-topping omelet, it felt like a great value. The omelet itself was tasty and well-executed. Nothing revolutionary, but it's hard to complain when the quality and price line up this well. My friend ordered the Char Broil Special, which came with a double stack of pancakes and eggs over medium. The eggs were a little runnier than expected for over medium, but fortunately my pumpernickel toast came to the rescue and soaked up the yolk perfectly. The real standout of the meal was the grilled cinnamon roll we shared at the start. It had a nice crunch on the outside, just the right amount of sweetness, and was perfect for sharing. The corned beef hash was probably the weakest part of the meal. It was a bit greasier than I would have liked, though the flavor itself was still quite good. Overall, breakfast for two, including a coffee and an iced tea, came to about $41. Believe it or not, that's more affordable than many diners these days. It had home fried, sausage links, over easy eggs, cheese, and of course topped with meat sauce. You can decide if you want sausage or bacon, how you want your eggs cooked, and what kind of toast you want (bagel, biscuit, english muffin, wheat or white toast). He pretty much cleared his plate. He really liked it. I definitely want to come back here and try their other items, maybe some of their breakfast options this time. Oh, and their milkshakes... gahhh I really wanted one but I had to go into work and was worried I would have a tummy ache lol.
