My family and I have been coming here for years, but they recently lost my wife's rehearsal dinner dress. They said that they've lost other people's dresses, and also given some people the wrong dresses (swapped them) without noticing for months. To make matters worse, we were using them to preserve my wife's wedding dress, veil, and shoes. When we went to pick them up, everything was very sloppily tossed around in the box. They agreed to redo it free of charge, but needless to say we will not be coming back here. Very disappointing and frustrating. read more

Warning!! Shop around. I tried to get a single pair of shorts dry cleaned and they quoted me $16.99 before tax. I thought the price was really excessive so I told them I'm going to shop around. I called Preston cleaners and they quoted me $6. Avoid this place at all cost right down the street. They did just as good and for more than 60% cheaper. read more

Went for first time. Foolish me, didn't ask for pricing. Charged $56 for 2 slacks and 3 shirts. No offer of coupon pricing or discount. I don't mind paying a fair price but $16 per slack and 6.25 per shirt seems a bit excessive! Definitely check pricing policies before using this place, will not return. Service was average but pricing 5 star, that doesn't work folks. I highly do not recommend!! read more

Extremely overpriced! They charged me three prices for one trench coat, $50.54 for the coat, $11.41 for the hood, and $4.91 for the belt. Over $65 for one coat is ridiculous! This was a standard dry cleaning , not worth the cost. I will not be back and will not recommend to anyone. read more

Feels a little expensive compared to other shops, but they do good work, and are very fast.. And free candy !

The customer service is absolutely hard to beat. Doug went above and beyond for my boyfriend's shorts. I was never expecting these stains to happen but they worked on it twice without asking! So thankful for Doug! It is on the pricier side! Well worth it! read more

I'm really upset. Reduced to tears. I got my bill for 22 items (nothing fancy - a few button up shirts, one denim jacket, some slacks, two cotton dresses) ... $360. God, I wish I had read the reviews here first. read more

they are ridiculously overpriced... They charged $16 for my son's pants to be dry which was more than what they were worth... Also, they charge for cleaning when told that the shirts were cleaned before several read more

This is a true criminal enterprise. 1. They are disorganized As a first time guest they - got my name wrong - they had my phone number wrong 2. They failed to disclose pricing - it's a very unimpressive location - THEY CHARGE 200 PERCENT MORE THAN WHAT THEY CHARGE IN HIGHLAND PARK OR UPTOWN. Two far more affluent areas. 3. Bait and switch I went to pick up my dry cleaning. They charged me 350 dollars for what might have been 100 dollars worth of cleaning. The clothing I dropped off was barely worth 350 dollars. I felt raped and abused and mislead DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. THEY ARE CRIMINALS!!!! SPREAD THE WORD, WARN YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS NOT ONLY DID THEY OVERCHARGE ME THEY COULDNT EVEN BE BOTHERED TO GET MY INFORMATION CORRECT. WHAT A CLOWN SHOW. Avoid at all costs!!!! read more

Pricey, but their customer service is fantastic! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, especially for my most treasured possessions like carpets and gowns, but I might opt for a cheaper place to launder and press every day shirts. I was greeted when I walked in the door, and the gentleman behind the counter took the time to explain the service options available for my husband's work shirts. We agreed they would launder and press them using a light startch. The shirts came out perfectly and were ready for pickup the next day after 4:00 PM. I even received an email reminder that they were ready. When I did stop by, the staff offered to carry the items out to my car for me. They are conveniently located at the crossroads of Dallas, Addison and Richardson off of Beltline at Preston Road behind Trader Joe's. Lots of parking is available. It really is a perfect location. Unfortunately, my husband won't spend more than $2 per shirt, so I have to find another place, but I'm already planning my return trip here for a few special items. read more

This review is very overdue. Several years ago my in-laws lost their home due to a hurricane. The home was flooded and it had to be completely gutted. My husband and I took a boat to the home and grabbed what we could salvage including the window treatments. I brought the drapes from Southeast Texas and dropped them off at Pepper Square close to our Dallas home. Pepper Square cleaned the window treatments and stored them for us (for free) until the house could be repaired. These were very long and heavy curtains. They held them for us for OVER six months. The family lost everything in the hurricane including family photos. Those curtains are a link to the past and they make us smile every time we visit. Very grateful to Pepper Square read more

Gave a price over the phone and asked for more than double in person. Horrible !!! Never go to a place where they lie! read more

Pepper Square Dry cleaners are thieves. Wanted to charge me $119 to dry clean two 8'x8' curtain panels! Twice as much as they cost brand new! I dropped them off and failed to ask how much it would cost and I was stunned when I went to pick up and they said $119! I thought they were joking! They gave me a 25% discount but I still paid $86 which is twice what I paid for them. I should've asked price up front but they should've gave me a heads up of the excessive cost. I wish now I didn't pay and just let them keep the 2 curtain panels. I went to 3 other dry cleaners in the area and all 3 said the cost would be $30 to dry clean 2 curtain panels. Take your dry cleaning anywhere but Pepper Square Thieves!!! read more

I brought in a queen sized comforter and did not ask what they charge as I assumed they were reasonable since I found them through Google and Yelp ratings. That is on me. They charged me $73.30. They gave no explanation of why the rate was so exorbitant. The comforter did look good but for that cost I could have almost bought a new comforter. read more

Customer service and cleaning was fine but they are VERY expensive. $68 for 2 shirts, 1 suit jacket, 1 suit pants, 1 dress. I have never heard of such outrageous prices at a dry cleaner's before... I wish I had read the Yelp reviews prior to visiting. We won't be returning unfortunately. read more

TEN DOLLARS AND FORTY ONE CENTS... for a pair of shorts. not silk, not baby skin, but basic cotton white shorts from theory. over 33 dollars for a pea coat. i get it. there's a lot of money in our neighborhood but i guess there are even more stupid people willing to pay this because at these prices for dry cleaning, it is beyond offensive. oh and i know what i'm talking about. my family owned several dry cleaners for over 20 years. highway robbery. read more

I have lived in the Addison area for many years and have used Pepper Square Cleaners in the past. After returning to in person after working from home during COVID, I needed to dry clean some of my business blazers. The bill was $82 for 4 jackets. Its a jacket(size 4 petite). Half a suit. I don't remember the prices being this ridiculously high, but I'm sure this is not a new mode of operating for them as is evidenced by the other similar reviews. I am extremely disappointed but unfortunately not surprised. This type of behavior is common among a certain facet of our society. The comments noted by other customers from the business such as "go South on 75" or "I don't need your business", speaks volumes. read more

I moved to another zip code and was looking for a new cleaners instead of driving all the way back to my old neighborhood (15-20minutes), I checked around and received good recommendations on this cleaners from few neighbors at "next door" app, I should have checked pricing before I stepped there, They are super nice and welcoming, the place looks great, BUT and it's a BIG BUT they are SUPER expensive!!! They charge more than a double from what I was used to, they charged me 31$ for 3 shirts and one pants which in my old cleaners would have charge 12-15$!! Definitely not going to come back, it's better to drive 15 minutes and not get over charged for a simple dry cleaning. read more

"Here to pick up my cleaning" That will be $83. "For a few shirts?" Yeah, those are Robert Graham, I heard they are $300 each "You base you cleaning cost on assumed cost of a button down shirt?" WTF. That's over $10 per shirt read more

They don't wear masks and they do nothing to create the proper distance between the customer and the employee. Until today when we ask "will you put on a mask" they did. But today the smart ass owner said "no, I don't like them". We said, well we can't come back and the owner said "we'll miss you". I wonder how many people have unknowingly contracted COVID there? It's not possible to know but with the employees of that store doing nothing to avoid transmitting the virus and the dozens, sometimes maybe hundreds of people coming in and out I would say it is likely. And I wonder if any of the 500,000 people that have died from COVID contracted the virus from Pepper Square Cleaners. The Dallas County Health department show revoke their business license. read more

When I first walked in, I was greeted very quickly. I had 4 suits and a dress shirt - total was about $84, which is worth. They have free water bottles to. What I appreciate the most is the turnaround time - 1 business day and the quality was there. Everything was pressed and came out right with no issue. Only thing I would note that it's a little wasteful with all the paper that they stuff in the sleeve, but I appreciate the thought. When I need to dry clean, will definitely be back. read more

AMAZING dry cleaners. The owners is great & I've always had very positive experiences here. I think the pricing is very fair for what they do. I especially appreciate the delivery service they have where they pickup your dry cleaning & return it to your doorstep totally clean. Very convenient for when I need my items cleaned but I don't have time to drive over that way. They also have a wash & fold service which I have used a few times. My washer was broken for about a week & while I was waiting for a part Pepper square cleaners took in all my normal clothes for a basic wash, dry, fold service. I was charged by the pound for clothes & it came out very reasonably priced. 10/10 recommend & I will be using Pepper Square long term. read more

The staff are very friendly, and always do a great job! Plus, I get a free bottle of water from their fridge everytime I go!

I needed two cotton dresses ironed and thought I'd try PSDC because word of mouth was good. I knew they were a bit pricey but I was given a rude awakening. I didn't ask about pricing but the area avg price to launder (wash-dry-iron) dress shirts is about $1.50 each. I was willing to go $4 or so for each dress. Imagine my surprise when I was told $29! To iron two dresses? He lowered it to $20. Still too much. I'll drag out the iron and board and put the $20 towards some good wine instead from now on. read more

Moved to this area from Houston and decided to give this cleaners a shot. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I was given a "gift" as a small token for entrusting my garments to Pepper Square Cleaners. Although this was a nice gesture, I assumed there must be some hefty prices to accompany this gift. I was correct to assume. I dropped off 9 pair of work pants/capris and a jumpsuit. $80.64 was my total, $8.16/pair. That is way too expensive for a pair of Zara pants. I'm not sure what they use to dry clean garments or who they may be splitting the costs with to dry clean them, but this seems like price gouging! Thanks but no thanks. read more

I have had the pleasures of doing business with Pepper Square Dry cleaners since 1997. My corporate job took allot of my time so washing clothes was not in my schedule. Corporate attire was a must and all of my designer clothing had to be dry cleaned. Never had a doubt Amean was on top of it. My home was flooded during this freeze Feb 2021 and my entire closet, bedding etc..was dropped off. They as usual took the best care and and once again never had any doubts. Thank you Pepper Square and Amean!! read more

I've had a fantastic experience, I constantly bring my uniform jacket and it's always done quickly and well.

CONSUMER BEWARE! This place is SUPER EXPENSIVE! I would recommend you go somewhere else unless you want to be WAY OVER CHARGED! They charged me $32.00 to dry-clean my wool coat which anyone else in town charges anywhere between $12.95 to $20.00. Also, they didn't do a good job cleaning the coat either. When I picked up my coat from Pepper Square Cleaners, it still had dog hair on it in several places. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! read more

The staff is polite and friendly but that comes with a high price. Very expensive cleaners. Prices go from 3.50 to 7 dollars for a man's shirt and women's start with 7 to 11 dollars each. read more

We love Pepper Square cleaners and use them regularly. Their attention to detail is well- known, but yesterday they were extraordinary. During the ice storm, I wore an old cashmere sweater. It had several small moth holes, but I love the bright blue color. When it returned, the holes had been carefully repaired with matching blue thread. Every single hole had 'disappeared'. This wonderful care for customers' garments is their hallmark. They pride themselves on replacing missing buttons( notice the giant button in the front window). I highly recommend Pepper Square Cleaners! read more

Nice staff. Gave me free laundry bag on my first visit. BUT, when I picked up my cleaning I was completely shocked by the prices. Over twice as expensive as my old cleaners. Some items almost 3 times what I am used to paying. Again, VERY EXPENSIVE!!!! Won't be returning. read more

My family and I have been long-time customers of Pepper Square cleaners and not once have we been disappointed with their service. The employees and the manager (he is the owner too I believe) are both friendly and helpful. I had 3 dress shirts done for $8. ~Carpe Diem~ read more
