Mariners fans, here's your guide to a great day at the park. Head to the stadium early to watch the guys at the practice fields. It's free, and gates open at 9:30. See dozens of players on the various fields throwing pitches, fielding balls, and taking batting practice. On game day, the guys wrapped up practice around 11:50, so I recommend getting there at least by 11. Don't miss doing this--it's just as entertaining, if not more entertaining than the game. Where else can you see players this up close? Then, walk on over to In-N-Out or Raising Cane's for lunch before the game. They're about a 15 minute walk away. I feel odd recommending fast food, but you gotta try what you can't get back in Seattle! There is food at the stadium, but it's not discount prices. Expect to pay just as much (or more) for a drink than you would at T-Mobile Park. After lunch, head to the park for the 1:10 game. The stadium is very intimate, and there really isn't a bad seat. It does get hot tho--the seats themselves are very toasty. Fortunately, we brought some towels from the hotel to sit on. The couple in front of us had to go buy some towels in order to sit comfortably. Also, pack a small portable fan. As someone who doesn't like hot weather, the fan made a huge difference and made sitting in the seats tolerable. Lastly, bring a water bottle and some sunscreen. There are cooling stations throughout the stadium, and some shaded spots. Parking is right in front of the stadium, free, and plentiful. You do not need to worry about not getting a spot--especiailly if you come early to watch practice. read more

This is a great stadium! The team store has a wide selection of merchandise (Spring Training, Mariners, Padres). There's also a variety of food and drink options. There's even a kids mini baseball field! We sat in Section 120. There's a good amount of space between the rows of seats and the section is right along the first base line. The bathrooms are close by. The only downside is there is NO SHADE whatsoever (this goes for most of the stadium). However, the weather was perfect today! I enjoyed accompanying my husband to this venue. We were here to see the Padres for Spring Training. Before my visit, my husband came a couple of days before me and was able to score an autograph of Tatis! I got to see the Padres train! And all the fans waiting patiently for autographs from the players. The training fields are next to each other about four of them maybe 5. The stadium is not too far away. My family will be there next week to watch the games! We were able to visit the Team Store and purchase some merchandise. It will save time and from being in the chaotic crowd during the games. read more

My son's baseball league has been using the Spring Training practice fields for their games now that spring training is over. The fields are very well maintained and there is plenty of parking. The training fields are a little bit further down the road then the main stadium. There is a concessions stand that sells all the things. There is also a bathroom for spectators (as well as a closer bathroom for coaches and players). The bleachers also have awnings so that was a very nice feature since the sun is always present!! The only downside is the spectator bathrooms are a bit of a walk but other than that very happy with the location for the rest of my son's baseball games!!! read more

Did I adore this stadium because I saw a player hit a Grand Slam here? Perhaps it was because they had beer on tap (unlike the Giants' Scottsdale stadium). Or maybe (probably) because the tickets were cheaper (by a lot) than the Giants ($45 vs $65 all in) and parking was free, well-managed, and ample. Not only did I get better seats for a far better price, the stadium was smaller and it appeared - at least from where I sat - that this field was designed for a stellar experience. Whether or not that's what it was designed for, that's what I experienced. This park is the Spring Training shared home for both the Mariners and the Padres pretty much ensuring that there's a game being played here daily. I had some small quibbles with the soda offering but I'll let those slide since I had such an enjoyable afternoon here at Peoria Sports Complex. read more

This is the among the oldest of the stadiums in the area so it's not as impressive as Goodyear or Camelback Ranch, but you get to sit nice and close to the action, giving the feeling of attending college ball, which I love. The bathrooms are clean, parking is free and not too far away, and there's a decent selection of food which is always of reliable quality. Everyone from the ushers to concession staff also seems genuinely psyched to be there, like they are there because of how much they love baseball. It feels like a community. read more

More 3.5 stars. Out of the 4 Cactus Leagues stadiums I've seen a game at this was towards the bottom. It's a nice facility, however terrible foot traffic flow - they only had one gate open on each side so security and getting in took a minute. Then the seating bowl only has 2 entrance/exits so that getting crowded as well especially when the game finished. That bridge was really crowded and then again only one gate open to get out. The parking lot was also hectic getting out as well. Lawn tickets were $25 on the day, paper tickets. Free parking. read more

Hey Yelpers!!! So I'm here to check out the spring training baseball game between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Seattle Mariners. I love spring training! As for the stadium itself, this place is nice. It's very clean and well kept, and there's not a bad seat in the place. I will say that if you're a bigger person, the reserve seats can be a little bit narrow. They are about 16 inches wide. but there are lots of seats available and some bench seating a little bit higher. Even the bleacher seats are super close to the field anyway. You can also sit out on the lawn in the outfield and have a great view as well. One thing here that they have set up are some upgrade seating in the left field area. It has couches you can sit on. It's $30 a seat (after your initial ticket price) and comes with two drink tickets for drinks of your choice. They have lots of different food options, including your tradition, hot dogs, peanuts, and stuff like that. They also have dickies barbecue set up as well as some Ramen, gourmet hotdogs, gyros, and other goodies. I haven't had any of the food yet, but it all sounds really good. As for the service, the staff here are very friendly and helpful. I was able to talk to a few of them and just super nice people. if you get a chance, come here for spring training or Arizona fall, I definitely recommend it. Went for a Spring Training game. Parking lots full so we had to park across the street in the Target lot and walk. Entering was easy, virtually no security. Several old timers manning the entrance not checking bags, relying on the metal detectors only. Several adults near us wrapping shooter vodka bottles in their blankets to smuggle in. Restrooms clean with very short, fast moving lines. Lots of food options. We opted to share a hot italian sausage sandwich with peppers and onions. Roll extremely fresh and soft. Sausage spicy and cooked perfectly. Peppers and onion could have used a little more cooking time but overall this was a great option for us. Cheaper than the foot long hot dog at the vendor next door. Couple we were with ordered a block of fresh cut fries. They were good but vendor was not informing customers the stadium had run out of salt until you ordered and paid. These fried potatoes would have been excellent with the much needed salt. One draft beer and a bottle of Dasani water $22. Yikes. Be prepared they do not accept cash only cards. Overall it was a good time. Food was good, beer cold, stadium clean. Tip your workers when ordering. Found out from a worker that most are volunteers for nonprofits trying to get money for their organizations. Beer lady was working to earn money for her daughters college. Would have been a five star day if they would have not more parking and the much needed salt. We had an amazing time at this well kept ball park. From clean restrooms to many vendors & real grass made the Friday night extra special. We took the grandkids to see the Savanna Bananas. It was an epic night. We arrived at the park 90 minutes before the game. There was a steady traffic of people and cars, but it moved rather quickly. We entered the park as we were greeted by individuals in banana suits. The game was awesome and very entertaining. Some players came through the crowds signing autographs and dancing. This was our 3rd stadium we visited while in town for Spring Training, and so far its been the best out of the three (Camelback, Tempe). The back fields were easy to get around to before the game. What surprised me was it was a little too easy to gain access to the players if you wanted, since the fields didn't have a lot of security or gates. In terms of the stadium itself, plenty of vendors and a variety of different food and drink choices, plus a nice tent in the outfield to get out of the sun if you so choose. We had such a great experience at Peoria Sports Complex. We came the night before slept a few hours in our car to come and enjoy spring training. GO Angels! We did not have to pay for parking and it was easy to find parking and the attendants were friendly and kind. The sports complex itself is on the smaller side but it gives you an experience unlike no other. Up, close and personal to the field and players. Such a beautiful clean and nice stadium. The bf and I came here for the Angels spring training game they played against the Padres today. Angels won btw :) We arrived thinking where to park and how much it's going to cost for parking but to our surprise parking was free! That really made our day and there is so many parking spots as well. The whole property is clean the staff is super friendly and helpful! Restrooms are also clean updated and has seat covers!!! Restrooms also provide sunscreen available which is amazing. Gosh if only the Angels own would upgrade the Diablo Stadium like this place. There was also a wide variety of food and beverages areas to choose from and there's plenty of bench tables you can sit to eat. Plenty of covered shaded areas for the seat sections. We sat at the club level 308 so the seats had some really good seat cushions which is a big butt plus!!! Overall great experience here. We hope to come back for more Angels away games! Had a wonderful time at Spring Training today! This is one of our favorite spring training facilities. We were able to watch practice and then walk over to the field for the game. Everyone working was so extremely friendly and made our experience that much better. Coming out for spring training has been a family tradition we hope to continue for many years. I do wish the parking was a little better thought out for entry and exit. It seemed as if the parking attendants didn't know what they were doing, but it was opening day so maybe they were new. Almost zero signage explaining where to park and how to enter and exit properly which meant people were constantly turning around. When it came time for us to leave we ended up being one of the last cars out even though we had waited an extremely long time (30min +)because one line snaked around the whole parking lot only to join up with the quick line which we could have been in from the start. One person in-front of us finally got out and started directing the cars on where to go! Plan ahead to sneak out early or stay at the field and hangout for an extra 30min until the madness is over! The complex is an intimate place to watch baseball. You can count on being close to the action in most of the seats. It can be hot in the sun, so I recommend getting seats as high up in Section 200 as you can to get out of the direct sunshine. Sunscreen and a water bottle are absolutely necessary. Also, get here early. I planned to be at the stadium a half-hour before the first pitch, but there was a long line of cars getting into the park, and we need to buy lunch first, so we missed the first pitch. (By the way, the vendors don't take cash.) We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the camaraderie in the stands--it felt more like a family picnic than a major league baseball game. We have come out to AZ for spring training quite a bit now, and I was really pleased on our last visit out to Peoria Sports Complex. I am a girl who enjoys her baseball, and with MLB seat prices going up during regular season, spring training is such a great way to catch baseball with great seats at great prices. Since Peoria is closer to where my family lives in Buckeye, it is much easier to check out the Angels here then going to their home training stadium at Tempe Diablo. Peoria Sports Complex is the home training complex for the Mariners and the Padres. There were a lot of people coming into the game with the Angels playing the Mariners the evening we were there. Parking was easy though once we got into the lot. Besides having food vendors at the sports complex, there are also food trucks scattered throughout the place. We ate dinner before we got there, so we didn't end up eating much but snacks and drinks. I have read reviews with a lot of people complaining about this venue, but I am not sure what people expect for a training complex. This is not T-Mobile Park or a major league stadium and people really shouldn't expect the amenities here to be such. You are paying cheaper prices for seats, parking and even food compared going to what I used to catching an Angels game at Angel Stadium. It is also a great place to get autographs as you can get up close to the players and it is awesome to see the excited faces of kids getting a ball or mitt back with a player's signature on it. Staff at this stadium was kind and helpful. Even the other patrons watching the game were really nice. We happened to be sitting next to two retired gentleman who were originally from Southern CA and we had a great time talking to them as they readily knew the area we currently lived in. I really enjoyed taking in a spring training game here, and I would highly recommend checking this place out if you planning on coming out for spring training. read more

This review is for the 2019 city of Peoria 4th of July celebration. Great venue but the food offerings were kinda meh esp for the $$; however, on the other hand most of the 4th displays have nothing at all so it's a wash. Mayor's statement was pre-corded... That was a fail. If you can't be there, please have someone else kick it off. The event itself was fun with a live band (who honestly didn't sound good in the stadium... Maybe could have been corrected with different audio setup idk) and eating contests. Even tho we arrived a few hours before the light show, it went fast. 2018 Update - the place is just too crowded. Too many families and kids. They oversell the park. Buy a lawn ticket, but no lawn seats. Place reminds me more of a carnival than a baseball facility. Plus you can't watch game wandering around really, so this place stinks. Does every team have to jack up prices every year? Those $7 lawn seats are now $11 Metal Detectors force people to wait 15 minutes to enter Craft Beers are now $9. Food Choices are boring. This stadium forgot to hire somebody to invent interesting food. So your left with chicken nuggets, weird seafood stand and hot dogs. Hands down worst ballpark experience of all time. Surprised this place is rated so highly. Long lines to get in for seemingly no reason. Staff does nothing to help expedite anything. Food service staff is even slower. I understand staffing shortages, but there is a complete lack of urgency from everyone. Spending more time waiting in lines than enjoying the game. Lastly, shade is lacking when you need a break from the sun. Will not be coming back ever! Camelback Ranch is the way to go. read more

My spring time home for baseball in March. I've been coming here since the place opened and it's still my favorite spring training venue in the valley of the sun. This year ( 2015 ) the complex surprised me and has spruced up the park, bravo it needed it. One of the highlights of coming to the Peoria Complex is how close to the action you are compared to Safeco Field which you could be miles away from the play. Players are friendly and eagerly await the autograph hunters. If you get there early enough the Mariners will sign outside the stadium and inside as well. Sometime even from the dugout if your lucky... However beware of bats and balls cause your and they do come into the stand and will crack your skull open. You'll find many food stands around the out field ranging from Gyros to BBQ so don't eat breakfast before you come. Coming to the park is always a good experience but even better in March when in its in the 80's and Seattle is freezing cold. read more
