Eli is an outstanding driver. He never parks the delivery van in an illegal spot and he is a nice guy.

So, my friend got COVID. Well, her entire family did. So they're quarantining. She's fine, but has…read moresome pretty bad symptoms. So she asked me to help her out, get some prescriptions and OTC stuff at this Walgreens, right near both our houses and drop it off on her porch. Sure, is Sunday afternoon, I'm not doing anything else. Go to the pharmacy, easy as pie. Bam, get the Rx. Time to get the OTC stuff via curbside to go and this whole trip will be 15 minutes. Park in the curbside to go parking spot, call the store, tell them who I'm picking up for, "OK we'll be right out." 10 minutes later, nothing. I text her, she says she'll call. 5 minutes later, "OK, they said they'll be right out." Another 5-10 minutes go by, I call again, and then they tell me I need to come in to present my ID. This isn't ideal, because I have a toddler, who hasn't mastered wearing a mask yet, but I could have made it work, if I had just known right away that I needed to go in (like if the guy on the phone had just told me the first time I called?). Also, why can't they just check my ID in the car. Also, if they didn't realize that they needed ID prior to hanging up the first time and didn't have my number to call back, just walk out to my car and tell me. And then, why lie/withold this information from her when she called too?? I finally went inside, and they didn't even care about the inconvenience. Would have easily been a 5 star review for the pharmacy, but the curbside fiasco, waiting almost a half an hour drove that way down. I understand everyone is under a lot of stress/inconvenience with COVID, but like, use common sense/decency.

Worst service ever. I went there to pick up a medication. The cost was over a $100. I asked if…read morethere was a cheaper alternative. I was no, take it or leave it. I couldn't afford it. I left. I went to a near by Stop and Shop pharmacy. I asked them the same thing regarding the cost of the drug. The attendant went to a computer came back in about 5-7 minutes. I ended up paying about $10.00. She made an effort to help me. I will never go to a Walgreens pharmacy again.

I called the pharmacy to verify that they got the correct prescription, a girl answered the phone told me to wait, I understood told the girl to take her time. She puts me on hold then hangs up. I call again and get hung up on, I call again and someone answered but they were speaking fast and stern the only thing I heard the man saying "we cant help you" mumbled something else and quickly hung up. If someone had answered and politely told me that the person who can help me is unavailable and to call back later, then there would be no issue. But that is not what happened. I unfortunately had to tell my patient that the pharmacy was hanging up on me and she would have to try calling herself. Im not sure what children are working here but they need to be retrained.

Staff acts like you just asked them to boil the ocean for you if you ask for an item to be unlocked. To top it off, I placed a large photo print order the previous night and went in the morning to pick it up. I had the order number confirmation email that my order was ready, but I was told that the order was never done and that I'd have to do it myself at the kiosk. No apology, no offer to look for my order or ask someone else. I specifically spent time editing the pictures and ordering them so I wouldn't have to spend a long time at the in-store kiosk. Pharmacy is awful, as if you couldn't already guess.

Been using this CVS for the convenience for many years now. Get all my flu, Covid, etc vaccines…read morethere and that's always been a positive experience but yesterday I ran into a situation that I feel was unprofessional and intolerable. I had two prescriptions to pick up and entered the drive thru line with about 5 cars in front of me. Sat in the line for 20 minutes to finally get my turn at the window and the clerk says, sorry, unfortunately we're closing for lunch now. I said, you've got to be kidding me! I've been in this line for 20 minutes. He replied that I could come back in a half hour when they reopened. That's it, window closed. So, after years of using them for all our family prescriptions, I requested that everything be moved to Yale Outpatient Pharmacy in Hamden where I already had two specialty meds that they fill for me. Thanks CVS, it's been real. By the way, Yale doesn't close for lunch. Someone is always available to take care of you. And they're always very pleasant. Never leave feeling anything but SEEN.

The line at the pharmacy counter was backed up all the way to the front door. There were a group of high school students who work there stocking shelves. However, none of them knew where anything was located. It was also interesting how many things were under lock and key. Prices were extremely high at this location. Parking is available and easily accessible right off of Washington Avenue. Sadly, we couldn't find many of the items my neighbor had requested .

Unfortunately after the unprofessional and inappropriate behavior by the pharmacy staff at this…read moreparticular location. It really leaves me no choice but to leave a very bad review, with hopes that change with come out of all this. On Wednesday 10/1/25 a relative of mine was simply just trying to get a flu vaccination. Three of the pharmacy staffs took a look at the insurance card and could not figure out if they accepted it or not. This relative of mine had been coming to this pharmacy for over one year already and had picked up many prescriptions using this one insurance card for coverage. The pharmacy staff decided that they needed a different card "prescription card" for one entire year that has passed not once was this ever asked before. My relatives information has been in the system for one year already. The young woman with very short-haired and glasses with black scrubs who seemed to have more seniority. Would not help the young man at the cash register who also had short hair and black scrubs. The young man seemed to be very frustrated and nervous. So he provided me with some information for my relatives insurance comp. My mentally disabled relative could not receive her flu shot due to the fact of the pharmacy staff stating the insurance card is has expired and is not in the system. My family and I left the pharmacy and went over to cvs in the same town since my relative has also used them over the years as well. The experience at cvs was so phenomenal. Not only was my relative greeted and treated so kindly, but was also given the flu vaccination using the same exact and only insurance card. This Walgreens Pharmacy really should be ashamed of themselves for the behavior me and my family witnessed and how my relative fell of victim to. A formal phone call complaint was made within the same hour and reported to the shift manager named Chris (female) who apologized on behalf of the pharmacy staff. Chris also stated that due to her position she didn't have the authority to oversee the pharmacy customer service.Chris also stated she will hand over the information to her overseeing manger Christina. Unfortunately Christina the main manager had just left for the day. Chris assured that a phone call back with an update would take place the following day. CHRISTINA THE MANAGER may have never received the information. My relative called back the next day,and received alot of hang ups, excuses for call backs. It became very unprofessional and distasteful and represents a big stain on the store. No accountability was taken and that is unacceptable. Today is October 5, 2025. It's in the hands of corporate management now. This absolutely needed to be spoken on the inappropriate, disregarded, discriminatory acts of customer service given by walgreens Pharmacy staff and store managers. I really hope this doesn't continue and a lesson is taught in how it's effortless to be kind to one another. Best regards.

There was one left and it was on sale! Score! I was then taken in by all of the seasonal displays and the massive holiday aisle. Thankfully, along several aisles, there are baskets stacked for your convenience. Because if you're like me, you come in for a couple things, and soon your hands are full! Story of my life. So I grabbed a basket and it didn't take me long to fill it with candies, gifts, cookies, stuffed toys, makeup and accessories. I also stocked up on travel items from the great inventory on the travel section on the back wall of the store. I picked up some magazines too! I saw some Pez dispensers, and it was tempting to add them to my basket as I was an avid Pez collector but I used my will power to leave them for another PEZhead! This store is well stocked, clean, organized, and the sections as clearly marked making it a breeze to navigate along the aisles. Check out was seamless and the employees were pleasant. What's not to like about this corner convenient pit stop and pharmacy? (The parking lot and front could use a tidy, but other than that, it's a easy quick stop for your seasonal, office, grocery, office, photo, household, & health and beauty needs).
