I went home and checked and I never had to pay a copay. I called Stop snd Shop pharmacy and was told to call my insurance. Did not bother to check the system, immediately dismissed me. I called my insurance and was told the pharmacy never billed insurance. I called the pharmacy and told them they never billed insurance. I was told i would get a credit. I checked my bank after a few days and no credit. I called the pharmacy and was told the "money" refund was there. a reasonable person would think credit means a credit to your account snd refund means money returned. I questioned how it happened and was told "computer glitch". I just picked up a prescription 9/3 and paid $11 change instead of $2 change. I did not check till a few days later and called 9/8. i called my insurance and was told the stop and shop pharmacy never billed them. I called the pharmacy and was told it was past the time for them to bill insurance and I sign for my prescription and agreed it is ok. I should have checked it. I stated pharmacy did not bill insurance and should not be my problem. Then Marissa said too late to back out of the system, they had billed a discount instead of my insurance. First was told she was not the person who did it and did not know why did not bill insurance, then kept repeating alot of customers have different insurance and discount cards and can't remember everyone and it is my responsibility to check it and I signed for it. I kept questioning if my insurance is in the computer, why isn't it billed. Marissa then repeated about all the customers with different insurance and I signed for it. Marissa then became rude and stated we kept going round and round with the me asking the same questions. i just wanted to know why my insurance was not billed. Note I have been taking this med for almost a year and the copay was previously correct. No flag in the system there is an issue. logically, if you have insurance, the pharmacy bill s the insurance. instead of taking responsibility for making a mistake "again", Marrissa put the blame on the customer and have to pay out of pocket for it. I am on Medicare and a limited budget. I have multiple prescriptions and can't remember all the different copays. I asked Marissa if I have to bring all my receipts everytime to check if correct, no I can ask. Why would I ask if the "system" can't be trusted to even bill insurance. or is it the pharmacist pushing the buttons. How many people on Medicare with prescription plans have had wrong copays ( can't afford it) and just did not know because it is a one time fill. Another time Stop snd Shop put the wrong milligram in the prescription. I caught it because I know the difference between 30 and 60 milligrams. Another time they filled an old prescrtion of a higher milligram instead of filling the newer prescription of lesser milligram. I urge everyone to check your pills, copays, and the total pills if you use Stop and Shop pharmacy. Needless to say, I will no longer be going there.

On Wednesday 10/1/25 a relative of mine was simply just trying to get a flu vaccination. Three of the pharmacy staffs took a look at the insurance card and could not figure out if they accepted it or not. This relative of mine had been coming to this pharmacy for over one year already and had picked up many prescriptions using this one insurance card for coverage. The pharmacy staff decided that they needed a different card "prescription card" for one entire year that has passed not once was this ever asked before. My relatives information has been in the system for one year already. The young woman with very short-haired and glasses with black scrubs who seemed to have more seniority. Would not help the young man at the cash register who also had short hair and black scrubs. The young man seemed to be very frustrated and nervous. So he provided me with some information for my relatives insurance comp. My mentally disabled relative could not receive her flu shot due to the fact of the pharmacy staff stating the insurance card is has expired and is not in the system. My family and I left the pharmacy and went over to cvs in the same town since my relative has also used them over the years as well. The experience at cvs was so phenomenal. Not only was my relative greeted and treated so kindly, but was also given the flu vaccination using the same exact and only insurance card. This Walgreens Pharmacy really should be ashamed of themselves for the behavior me and my family witnessed and how my relative fell of victim to. A formal phone call complaint was made within the same hour and reported to the shift manager named Chris (female) who apologized on behalf of the pharmacy staff. Chris also stated that due to her position she didn't have the authority to oversee the pharmacy customer service.Chris also stated she will hand over the information to her overseeing manger Christina. Unfortunately Christina the main manager had just left for the day. Chris assured that a phone call back with an update would take place the following day. CHRISTINA THE MANAGER may have never received the information. My relative called back the next day,and received alot of hang ups, excuses for call backs. It became very unprofessional and distasteful and represents a big stain on the store. No accountability was taken and that is unacceptable. Today is October 5, 2025. It's in the hands of corporate management now. This absolutely needed to be spoken on the inappropriate, disregarded,discriminatory acts of customer service given by walgreens Pharmacy staff and store managers. I really hope this doesn't continue and a lesson is taught in how it's effortless to be kind to one another. Best regards.

There was one left and it was on sale! Score! I was then taken in by all of the seasonal displays and the massive holiday aisle. Thankfully, along several aisles, there are baskets stacked for your convenience. Because if you're like me, you come in for a couple things, and soon your hands are full! Story of my life. So I grabbed a basket and it didn't take me long to fill it with candies, gifts, cookies, stuffed toys, makeup and accessories. I also stocked up on travel items from the great inventory on the travel section on the back wall of the store. I picked up some magazines too! I saw some Pez dispensers, and it was tempting to add them to my basket as I was an avid Pez collector but I used my will power to leave them for another PEZhead! This store is well stocked, clean, organized, and the sections as clearly marked making it a breeze to navigate along the aisles. Check out was seamless and the employees were pleasant. What's not to like about this corner convenient pit stop and pharmacy? (The parking lot and front could use a tidy, but other than that, it's a easy quick stop for your seasonal, office, grocery, office, photo, household, & health and beauty needs).
