    Nachos! (Enough for 2+ people)

Great food and beer! I love going to People's after work and getting a beer and an appetizer. I also enjoy their new patio. It's small and looks like a garage, but it's so much more.

    Cool place

This place had friendly ambiance. Greg lived his beer flight and there were 6 to try for just $10. What a deal. They had delicious bratwurst bites as a special of the day, the spicy beer cheese is highly recommended!

Stopped in on one of the nicer days we have had lately and sat on the patio with our pup. The staff was friendly and provided us with information on their beers. We tried several beers and they were all quite good. We ordered the spinach dip and mushroom Philly. Both were absolutely amazing. Some of the best food we have had at a brewery! We will definitely be back!

A surprisingly good beer. Not too fruity and easy to drink. Will enjoy some patio time at Peoples enjoying this when it warms up!

Visited People's today for lunch on a Friday. We walked in and sat down and were promptly greeted. There were 6 other customers at the time. We were given the Holiday special beer list and the regular Tap List. My favorite beers are traditional pilsners, lagers and ales so most of what People's has is not my thing. Although, I am known to enjoy Boiler Gold at Purdue games. . I looked for Ol' Tavern in the tap list and was disappointed it was not being served right now, but I get the variety and how the taps rotate. Thankfully, the Nine Irish Red was available!!! Ordered our beers and ordered food. We had not eaten here. I got the BBQ pulled pork flatbread and my wife got the Soup of the Day- French Onion. She really enjoyed it. Normally, I am a pizza sauce and pepperoni flatbread guy but really enjoyed my Pulled Pork flatbread. It was hot and tasty and just enough crisp on the flatbread. We always enjoy coming here and........ingot my growler filled with Nine Irish Red in our way out the door!!

Fantastic local brewery and tidy restaurant with homely barn atmosphere and venue for an ideal summer time sipping spot. We found the beverage menu quite limited surprisingly to the July styles, IPA and seltzer, only one dark thing but oh what a fine black brew it was. Both of us enjoyed the Space Pilot Coffee Porter too well! Highly recommend that one, wished for a tap of the canned brews too but like most little family run businesses there's a quick keg turnover. Makes for more reason to come often, not just for the drinks, the beer cheese nachos were recommended to us and we quickly realized we will also recommend! Probably the best thing on the menu, a huge mound of the right toppings and fresh made ingredients. Could have gone for two but we also tried the hummus and french onion, the soup was excellent making me wish I'd also gone for a bowl even though the hummus was fantastic alongside their own pesto I would need protein included not just veggies to try again. This is easily a fine choice for the relaxed and carefree 21+ crowd, to escape the campus ruckus, right up there with Escape Velocity, Brockerage, Thyme & Wagner, and People's.

You would think you'd come here just to drink but this summer when finishing up school I took a break and decided to try their tacos and chicken salad sandwich with my boyfriend. They were both so tasty and although I was a bit stressed that day, the waiter was very patient and kind to me as I was trying to figure out what to get. Ambiance is very neat! It's a hidden gem since it's a bit far from the little downtown Lafayette has but do not get discouraged by it once you get in, it's a cozy nice little place! 100% recommend!

Stopped by here last weekend when I was in town for my cousin's wedding. I'm glad I did, as it has good food, good beer, a cool look, with an open wall that looks like the opening to accept a semi truck, and very nice staff. I got 3 beers there, the grapefruit moundbuilder, nine irish red, and phantom assassin; and then got 2 six packs to go- the original moundbuilder and the lager. For food I got the baked pretzel, had I not had the wedding to attend I would have gotten a full meal. Later as luck would have it, at the hotel bar I was able to try the boiler black porter, also very good. The prices for a pint are surprisingly cheap. It has its own parking lot you don't have to worry about street parking. I'd definitely recommend checking here out if you're in town and like breweries.

Very friendly....nothing fancy just perfect enough beers on tap to keep you coming back for more....with it being a small place the food menu is large and has a great variety

I finally stopped by after being in the area several times. Good beer with great prices and friendly service. If you are heading north to the brewery from downtown Lafayette, know that you will have to go beyond the entrance because 9th Street has an unbroken raised median in the way, so turn into the Trailhead Park to turnaround and head south again. The brewery has its own parking lot out front. I climbed a few stairs into the main room of the brewery. There is a seating area with tables spread out around the long bar on the rear left of the space. I was impressed that they had a lot of house beers on tap. They are rapidly approaching their 10th anniversary as I write this, so they've learned something about making beer and are able to provide a wide variety of options. I really liked that they offer six selections for their flight for only $8! That's a great way for first time visitors to get a wide sample of what they have to offer. I tried a pilsner, golden ale, porter, cocoa stout, pumpkin ale, and and IPA. All were good to really good in flavor. I will say that the golden ale (Boiler Gold) was really impressive while the Moundbuilder IPA is the house favorite. I also will say the pumpkin ale had a nice blend of spice and pumpkin flavors for an enjoyable drink. Not sure if I would drink a whole pint, but it's a great choice for a flight selection. If you are in the area, this brewery is worth turning around for! Review #3342

Tasty beers, great selection, super friendly staff and a great group of local patrons to hang out with us out of towners. We got a flight of Boiler Gold, Boiler Black, Boiler Black Nitro, and some other seasonal beers. Also got two pints of a couple other beers on their list. All together, the tab was less than $15. Boom! All in all, my kind of place.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming, my husband had the Farmers Daughter and The boilermaker black and I had the Wild Strawberry Hard seltzer. All of our drinks were perfect, the staff was so stinking kind and the atmosphere was upbeat, we will be back soon!

I can't drink Miller Lite. I just can't do it to my palate. I want to taste hops, and luckily People's does that really well. I've had many a Mound Builder IPAs at restaurants or from the local liquor stories, which is why I knew I wanted to try as many beers from this brewery as I could in person. There were 12 taps to be tried when my husband and I came in on a Sunday, and I love how I was able to order any six beers on the board for a flight. The hops came through, and I was a very hoppy drinker. (If there's an Amazon Princess or Phantom Assassin on the board, add it to your flight!) Other things worth mentioning: -The parking situation is kind of weird, so pay attention to the signs. -People's does not have a food menu outside of a bowl of pretzels, but you can order in. -You can do growler/howler fills on a Sunday.

I love People's! It is my favorite all of the breweries in the Lafayette area. The people, both staff and regulars, are always friendly. They have an excellent selection of beer that is available to take home in cans or growlers. While they don't serve food, they have local food trucks on site on a regular basis. Their merchandise is excellent too, ranging from stickers, growlers, shirts to hats.

    Typical beer selection at People's.

Do they allow children or is this 21+ only?

That is correct, we are over 21+ only at our Lafayette location. We do however have our People's Revel Room, in Lebanon Indiana, which has family dining. Cheers!

I ordered the Mac and Beer Cheese burger that came with seasoned fries. The burger had a freshly made patty with a brioche bun. Bacon, tomato, red onion, and lettuce came on the burger as well. The mac and beer cheese came grilled on it and seemed to soak up some of the cheese. The one complaint I bad about the burger was that it wasn't cheesy enough. The fries were fantastic! They had some kind of seasoning and went well with the parmesan garlic aioli that came with it. I love sauce and I asked the waitress for a Kickin Bourbon BBQ sauce on the side. That would be the first sauce I put on wings with its sweet but spicy Bourbon kick. The service was good for a Saturday afternoon and the stools are pretty comfy. Plus, I love the TVs every where. I would try the Tap again as the burger was good overall.
