    Harry Potter themed menu

I love this place! They have so many choices of wine and have the most fun wine flights. They also do monthly themes that are so much fun. Last month was Harry Potter themed. They even had a themed menu. I really enjoy their wood fired pizza. They have both outside and inside seating and is family friendly. They can even make a mocktail flight for your kiddo. If you're in the Monticello area, it's a must stop!

I absolutely love Whyte Horse Winery! Its always a party! Love their themed event nights. We went to Barbie night and enjoyed the Barbie themed drinks. They were as delicious as they were pretty. the service is always first class, and I never mind standing in line because I know it's worth the experience of just ordering. Those ladies know how to enjoy their job, and their enthusiasm is contagious! The are so creative with the decor and themes, and really go all out to put it over the top. They also have music most Friday nights outside, it couldn't be more enjoyable. If you're in the area, make sure you "hoof" it on over for a great time. Kids are welcome, too

The ambiance is great! Music by Kyle Bledsoe--perfect for an end of summer day. Charcuterie board was yummy. We also noshed on breadsticks w/ 3 sauces--cheddar, pesto, and white cheese. The drinks were inventive and tasty! Enjoyable spot for pets, kids and their well-behaved adults. Harry Potter theme added to the experience. Table service is available inside and outside.

This place is always wonderful. The pizzas are amazing!!! We had a few of the specialty ones and I'd come back for those alone. One has pesto and chicken on it. It's the perfect end piece to drinking a little too much. Beautiful outdoor space to lose track of time in. The wine slushees never disappoint, either. They have a flight special on them right now and it was great to try the different kinds! My favorite time to visit is Christmas time when they have the decor up. It's so warm and inviting.

I enjoyed my time here! The only problem was choosing what wine slushie to try! Haha what a problem to have. The pizza was good and the pretzel bites were fabulous. My group tried both the wine cheese and cheese without wine and found we all preferred the wine cheese. Plan to relax and spend some time here. You can play cornhole out front. TIP* Take a cooler for any slushies to go!

It had been three years since we last visited Whyte Horse and we liked it then, and now, it is even better! Of all the wineries we have visited, this is the first to offer a flight of wine slushies! Genius idea #1! Since our last visit, they have built an entirely new building with a new tasting room and great outdoor space. It was quite enjoyable to sit outside and enjoy our slushies. They also offer take home wine slushies in a pouch! Genius idea # 2! And they have DOZENS of flavors! It will be an easy decision to visit again very soon!

No matter what state or country I'm visiting, I always take time to wine taste. I was pleasantly surprised at the wine here at Whyte horse winery especially because I was expecting fruit wine. But their Malbec was jammy (not what I was expecting), red and black fruits with a taste of dark chocolate & the Pinot Noir was silky and on the lighter side. I was fortunate to meet the winemaker Amanda and give her my thoughts, and I totally enjoyed our conversation about California wine, Indiana wines and just what a great job she was doing. The other great find was there chicken, pesto, pizza, and when I say it was probably one of the best I've ever had, I mean it. I read the reviews on their pizza and they were spot on! Didn't get a chance to try their wine slushies, they looked delicious and refreshing...maybe next time. Thanks for a great day winetasting in Monticello under the trees, on a beautiful white farmhouse, surrounded by fields.

This was a delightful place to spend time tasting wine. This family owned business has a couple vineyards in state (one behind their shop) and also get some grapes from California so that they can offer more dry wines than a lot of other Hoosier wineries. They don't just order pulp, they get the whole grapes and do all the processing themselves to control the process and flavors. After browsing through the shop looking at wines, cheeses, and artisan products (like sauces), I decided to have a tasting of six wines. (If you buy three bottles, the tasting is free!) I was pleased that I liked every wine I tried! That doesn't happen every place I go, so I was impressed. The family offers wine club options for regular customers that seemed to keep filing in during my visit. I couldn't believe how busy they were on a Thursday evening as the place kept filling with people. The owner did her best to keep up, but obviously, one server for a full house slows down the process. But everyone seemed to be relaxed and go with the flow. That speaks of good wine and a positive relationship with customers. If you are in the area and don't have to rush off, make a point of stopping by and giving their wines a try. Review #2762

This place was perfect!! The wine slush varieties are amazing!!! They are great! The staff were all friendly! Everyone was offering assistance. This area is very relaxing just what we needed after all that society has endured! We will return with guests. Thank you White Horse Winery! Keep doing what your doing! We appreciate not rushing us out even though it was closing and pouring rain

Great wine! And who can pass up a free wine tasting! Love the novelty items in the shop as well. Very important, don't forget to bring ID. Even if your over eighty, I'm sure they will refuse you without ID!

I purchased the Blackberry wine from Whyte Horse Winery. It tasted like sour ketchup, completely unpalatable.

I chose all the red dry wines to try because that has always been my preference. I have tried some pretty good red dessert wine though. After the tasting we bought a few bottles of wine and some snacks that they sold there and sat and chit-chatted. The sommelier was very friendly and informative. The owner came in with his dog who was the hi-light of the visit. It is a beautiful building inside and out. The view is beautiful. The wine was delicious. They had packages of cheese and jerky in the refrigerator that were very good. The prices were affordable. Everyone was so friendly. Everything was clean, including the restroom. The decor was very nice. There was a huge map of the world on the wall where people could stick a in pin of where they came from. I stuck one in for my birthplace. It looks like people from all over the world have visited this winery. The parking lot was a little small, but there weren't very many customers there that day, so we easily found a spot. I will definitely try to get back here someday.

The farmhouse was converted into a winery and the setting is very relaxing and cute. You're merrily greeted and offered 6 tastes - the wines are divided into two groups and I do prefer both dry and sweet. Excellent customer service and a lot of information is shared about the grapes, the wines, the winery - all great to hear as you sip away. I look forward to coming here again and would highly recommend it as one last stop to an oasis, right before you drive into the maddening city.
