I am a fan of good wine. A friend of mine who is also a fan of good wine and I visited this winery a few months ago. We had a blast. We did the wine tasting. I chose all the red dry wines to try because that has always been my preference. I have tried some pretty good red dessert wine though. After the tasting we bought a few bottles of wine and some snacks that they sold there and sat and chit-chatted. The sommelier was very friendly and informative. The owner came in with his dog who was the hi-light of the visit. It is a beautiful building inside and out. The view is beautiful. The wine was delicious. They had packages of cheese and jerky in the refrigerator that were very good. The prices were affordable. Everyone was so friendly. Everything was clean, including the restroom. The decor was very nice. There was a huge map of the world on the wall where people could stick a in pin of where they came from. I stuck one in for my birthplace. It looks like people from all over the world have visited this winery. The parking lot was a little small, but there weren't very many customers there that day, so we easily found a spot. I will definitely try to get back here someday. read more

If you find yourself driving north on I65 from Indianapolis toward Chicago, you might want to take a break from looking at all of the farmland around you and stop here - for a brief and pleasant respite. The farmhouse was converted into a winery and the setting is very relaxing and cute. You're merrily greeted and offered 6 tastes - the wines are divided into two groups and I do prefer both dry and sweet. Excellent customer service and a lot of information is shared about the grapes, the wines, the winery - all great to hear as you sip away. I look forward to coming here again and would highly recommend it as one last stop to an oasis, right before you drive into the maddening city. read more

I love this winery! It's so cute and rustic. Prices are very reasonable in my opinion. And there's a winery dog named Port. How adorable, right? The only thing sad about it is the location. It's kind of in the middle of farmland Indiana. I just did an event here and it was super cute! Would drive the 1.25 hours to do it again. read more

He was so incredibly knowledgeable on wine making and opened my eyes to a few new wines I would have snubbed my nose to before. Randy I will not "prejudge wine" by its name or grape again. This is an amazing place that has put a lot of love, care and attention into everything they're doing. We drove in in our truck and 30 foot RV and there was plenty of room to maneuver. Signs were very easy to follow, it's only a few miles off the highway and it was a beautiful drive. They are very conscientious about these crazy times and we felt really good about visiting. Masks, hand sanitizer and social distancing was well implemented. Wine tasting is free and the manager was very knowledgeable about all the great wines we tasted. Free wine tasting and cute outdoor seating, what more could you need? Stumbled upon this winery coming back home to Indy from Chicago and fell in love! It's a little off the highway, but they make up for it with the free wine tastings. The staff was super friendly. After helping us find our favorite wine, we were able to buy a bottle and sit outside to drink it. They also offer to recork a bottle if you're unable to finish. Will defiantly be back. read more

I've been here three times and I'm never disappointed. Free wine tasting as well as great wine slushy's. We usually get some cheese and crackers and take a bottle of wine and enjoy the outdoors. Sometimes Port (dog) will join us. Staff always friendly . read more

Literally an awesome vibe and so secluded! I chose this place to cement my relationship and it has been a date that is unforgettable. There is a vineyard dog who roams freely, so don't be alarmed. Also, you can bring your own food. We had lamb chops and the people next to us brought McDonalds. Lol! Feel free to give them a shot , and whatever bottle you buy, they will record it for you. We stumbled on the quaint winery on a drive home from Turkey Run State Park in Indiana. It's conveniently located right off of I-65. The day we stopped was a Saturday and there was a guitarist/singer playing outside in their nice yard. The small crowd of about 15 people were all nice, fun people enjoying the day! We bought a bottle of great wine and sat down to relax and enjoy the music. We met some nice people too! The owner made everyone feel right at home. Nice place, I will be back! read more

This cellar/winery is FANTASTIC! We went on a Saturday around 1:30p there were two other couples there and the gentlemen that was there serving the wine tasting was great. He was so knowledgable and detailed with the description of the wine and made our experience just wonderful. Let me remind you that they offer a COMPLIMENTARY (free) wine tasting which will make you want to purchase bottles of wine to take home. I prefer more dry red wines so I enjoyed those and my husband is more a sweet/rose type. They all different verities and I ended up purchasing 3 bottles and enjoyed 2 full glasses of wine each ($5 value each glass) and met a great couple of IN. The people that are there are very friendly and you most likely make conversation with them. A definite must see when you are on 65!!!! It's a small red barn in the middle of nowhere and let me say that the bathroom was very clean and smelled nice and the entire tasting room was clean and cozy. Being from Chicago and this winery being 1hr and half drive away my husband and I will be back! What a fabulous place!! FIRST the drive up said welcome!!! The grounds are clean and neat...We met our dear friends for Mother's Day weekend, this was our very first stop and let me say it was a PLEASANT SURPRISE! Did we hit the jackpot, we headed to the front of the establishment and a lovely young came out and greeted us...The gentlemen behind the counter was so knowledgeable and friendly, along with everyone that worked there. We are definitely going back to one of there concert night's...If your pass by on 65 don't make the mistake and keep going, get off on exit 205 and take a couple of minutes to be pleasantly surprised!! read more

Loved the semi sweet wines. Not too sweet, like most Indiana wines. It's a great place to sit, enjoying the flowers and quiet. It's definitely worth the drive. I hope to go out on a Saturday some day when they have live music. read more

Visited this winery on our way back from Chicago. The owner and winemaker were there to greet us. We are normally dry red wine drinkers, but their wines, while keeping to true Midwestern culture, are very much drinkable. I was pleasantly surprised with their Traminette. It was deliciously sweet but with a light finish as well, contrary to 99% of others I've tasted. Their whites are quite delicious. The winemaker has really mastered how to make sweet wines for discerning tastes. We are heavy travelers and have visited many wine regions from Oregon to Hungary. This is the best winery we have visited in Indiana. We'll be back in the summer for wine and music! read more

Visited today with my husband and mother. We all enjoyed the wine tasting. The guy that was serving us was very knowledgeable about the different wines they make at the vineyard. They have wine classes upstairs. On Saturdays, they have live music with a variety of music that is played. Very nice atmosphere. Plan on going back. read more

First stop on a trip to Indy. LOVED IT! The barn is SO unique! I really enjoy having a story in the winery vs just a building that they threw up to have a winery. We actually came while they were bottling the rose and one of the owners gave us our tasting. He was really enjoyable to talk to and shared the story of the opening and how they revamped the barn from its original state. Worth the trip just to go there! Think we enjoyed that place than most of Indy! :) read more
