Charcuterie board, cheese plate, Moscato and wine slushie

Lovely place! The wine slushies are delicious and the cheese selection is very good. We like to make a stop here every now and then for their award-winning wines and relaxed atmosphere.

A hidden gem! The tasting room is cozy, inviting and has modern vintage charm. There is a very nice selection of wines, including a good selection of sweet ones. And you MUST try their Jalapeno Pineapple wine! You have never tasted anything like it; It is truly unique! There is also a spacious outdoor seating that offers a great view of the surrounding rolling farmland in the warmer months. Though we were on our way to dinner and did not order from their menu, they have a generous selection of cheeses, wine slushies Tapas. The one thing I feel they should have, if possible, is WiFi. Our Verizon phones did not even have 1 bar of signal but do not let that detract you: Hooker Corner is definitely worth checking out!

Hooker Corner Winery is such a cute spot out in the country in Indiana. This hidden gem is a must see while in the area! The prices are reasonable and the wine is delicious! I had both a strawberry rhubarb wine slushee and a sangria wine slushee, both very good! They're definitely sweet, so if you like drier wines, I suggest skipping the slushee and getting a glass instead. The wine slushees are only $5 each! I also had the chips and queso appetizer. It was a decent sized portion and the flavor of the cheese was really good! It was a white cheese and had the smallest hint of spice. We also ordered a block of cheese and a jar of jam to share (comes with crackers too - which I didn't eat) The cheese and jam combined was so tasty! I can't wait to go back and try more wine flavors and different cheeses!

He was so incredibly knowledgeable on wine making and opened my eyes to a few new wines I would have snubbed my nose to before. Randy I will not "prejudge wine" by its name or grape again. Your the best. We will be back and we will be buying more of your wine. I want to add .. They also have a bird sanctuary here. So many beautiful bird songs to listen to while sipping wine and doing morning yoga in the field. It was a great experience.

I chose all the red dry wines to try because that has always been my preference. I have tried some pretty good red dessert wine though. After the tasting we bought a few bottles of wine and some snacks that they sold there and sat and chit-chatted. The sommelier was very friendly and informative. The owner came in with his dog who was the hi-light of the visit. It is a beautiful building inside and out. The view is beautiful. The wine was delicious. They had packages of cheese and jerky in the refrigerator that were very good. The prices were affordable. Everyone was so friendly. Everything was clean, including the restroom. The decor was very nice. There was a huge map of the world on the wall where people could stick a in pin of where they came from. I stuck one in for my birthplace. It looks like people from all over the world have visited this winery. The parking lot was a little small, but there weren't very many customers there that day, so we easily found a spot. I will definitely try to get back here someday.

This past weekend while doing a wine trail with friends, I decided to add this to the list as a new destination. Boy am I I glad that I did. This isn't your typical Indiana winery specializing in sweet fruit wines. This is a winery opened by two people who lived in California and decided to move east, ended up in Indiana, and decided to open up shop. My group of 7 bought more wine here than at any other winery we visited over the weekend, combined. Wines here run on the dry side. We left with more than a few bottles of the Riesling and the Petite Sirah, and I think there were only one or two out of the MANY samples we had that I didn't care for, but others in the group did. Not one wine got the thumbs down from every member of my group. The tasting room is nice and big with a lovely patio on the back that overlooks the grapes. We saw several hummingbirds buzzing around the feeder, and could have spent the afternoon here relaxing with a glass of wine. This is one you've got to try, especially if you like California Wines and haven't been impressed with the sweet. fruit based wines in Indiana.

I had never been here before so I wanted to look around and see what they offered. I was pleasantly surprised to see much more than just wine. They have cheese, crackers, local artists pottery and adorable wine related towels and clothing. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor venue is especially inviting with small clusters of tables for groups to enjoy their time together. I was especially pleased to have one of the owners, Kathy, step away from busy morning to chat with my Mother and myself about a local "hero". I do not drink alcohol, but I have friends that adore wine and there are enough "other" items here that I will be dragging them out "in the country" to get acquainted with my new find.

This is a nice winery with lots of different seating options outside on the property. I saw people sitting off by themselves at tables in the middle of a field, and people sitting on the patio of the main building. There are also a few places to sit inside, but mostly bar-height seating. I wanted to do a wine tasting, which I believe you can only do inside at the bar. You can pick five different tastes of wine. I asked for a couple of the driest reds, but then also threw in a Traminette and Riesling, which are semi-dry. I really liked the semi-dry wines, which I never go for in real life, but I'm glad I tried. The dry wines (there were only two options) were still a little too sweet for me, but that's Indiana wine for you. If you lean toward sweet wines, you will like the majority of the wines at Wildcat Creek Winery. This is not really a place to eat and enjoy wine, although you can find some packaged hunks of cheese and whole summer sausages in the fridge. It's more like a place to enjoy a nice glass or bottle of wine, and then grab some charcuterie fixin's on the way out, if you want to.
