I never ever yelp while eating but I often do when I am drinking so my grammar always makes me seem like an idiot. The spot is hip and perfectly sized with awesome owners who are always around. Service was expeditious. This hits the spot. Ordered some cheese and crackers with the amazing wine and beer selection. I am not a heavy dark beer drinker but they always have something for me on the lighter side. They have some great yoga, painting parties, and dancing classes which is way cool for the Kankakee.

    Wine flight!

The COOLEST place!!! A winery, distillery, and brewery all in one. Not only did my husband find some tasty beers, but I tried the wine flight (delicious!) and The Peacock (an amazing slush). We had so much fun and even brought our furry friend. He loves the back patio and found plenty of shade under the umbrellas. Would definitely come here again and HIGHLY recommend for a fun time!

Spring wine flight! All the fruity flavors!

One of my favorites local places in Kankakee! Great vibe and the staff is super nice. Always rotating wines and beers, it's something different every time. I love my wine so I tend to usually stick to my wine flights or try whatever they are offering:)

Terrance rules ! Local wineries , breweries and now whiskey ! He is a good host and this place is a little hidden gem. Right in the heart of good ol Kankakee. Wines are always good and rotating flights. 6 dollars for wine flights , 5 dollars with Yelp check in!

Great local place to hangout. Love that they support the local Illinois wines. This place is awesome for parties and get togethers!

No trouble getting a table but the bar area was pretty full. Our server was fast and professional. She nailed everyone's drink and food orders with no issues. Food came out fast and hot as well. Tough to do with 10 people at a table. I ordered the Honey Glazed chicken. It was pretty good but the chicken had a few chewy spots. Flavor was great though. The glaze was sweet but not overpowering. 2nd night I ordered the Parmesan chicken. That chicken was great but o didn't care for the pasta it was served on. Flavor was good but just not my thing. Service was great both nights. Pricing is fair as well. Recommend if you're in the area and looking for something different than your typical nationwide chain.

Service was slow -- to non existent -- at best. We ordered two saganashkees that were bland, with little to no crust. The server said he has never served two at once before, so I guess we loose. I ordered the Poke. It too was bland and some of the tuna was hard!! Yes, hard!! The serving included a dollop of guacamole that had no business on the plate, in my opinion. Chunks of avocado, that I thought I was getting, fine, but not a traditional guacamole. Not good. Three of the four persons at our table ordered burgers and were all equally disappointing. It seemed like the burgers were diced up like it we to get used like in chili. But then, there tried to make a hamburger out of it!! Really weird. The taste was good, but unmanageable as a hamburger. One of the persons at our table ordered a shrimp appetizer. He said it was "ok". This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is quite comfortable and the beer is okay. But, that's all it has going for it. Our previous visit a few years ago was much more enjoyable. We see no reason to return.

Emancipation is a brewery not a lot of people have heard of because it's not close to anything of course. Has a surprising amount of variety on tap and in cans to go. They may not have a whole lot but everything is full of flavor and quenches one's thirst. Even with it being a smaller brewery it still has quite a lot. It's got several of their own beers on tap along with a few others. There's also more cans in a refrigerator. Has the basics along with a few interesting ones. More than just the IPAs and the usual. It's about $7 a pint. The Farmer's Favorite is the IPA and is a pretty good medium one that's crisp and smooth. Has a few things to snack on here. It's about $3 for the Krack Mix. Basically like Chex Mix but it's made locally. They also will let you bring in stuff. Great place that's pretty hard to find the first time going here. It's located on N. 2500 East Rd. a few miles north of Fairbury surrounded by corn fields pretty much. They're closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
