Having recently returned to the area after years of globe trotting I HAD been searching for several spirits most have no clue about... this store carries or can get me those things I crave and need for making my culinary learnings to come alive.... Selection of Sherry's is PHENOMENAL! From sweet to dry its in the store. Needing a "green sherry" to pair with Pallea.... They carry it and it even comes from Andulicia Province of Espana. Needing the true Polish Vodka (high ABV %) to please my elderly relatives with.... They carry it! Being a Stout Beer drinker am very happy with the selection they offer, several of which are AMAZING.... GREAT LITTLE PLACE WITH A HUGE SELECTION AND MY NEW GO TO STORE FOR ALCOHOL. read more

Good on selection, not so great on price. They are in a market (Kankakee county) that doesn't have a lot of great liquor stores and they take full advantage of that. I'm speaking about there craft beer strictly. Expect to pay more for any craft beer here than most places ($1-4 per 6-pack). The thing that gets me the most is they stock a lot of limited release beers and REALLY increase the price on those. Just today the owner told me planned to charge $29.99 for a single 12oz bottle of Founders KBS. The normal MSRP would be $19.99 for a 4-pack. While most liquor stores do split the 4-packs they usually let them go for $10-12 per 12oz. I have decided not to support a business that likes to take advantage of there customers and will not be going back here anymore. There are actually have two locations. In town to visit family and decided to grab some good craft beer to bring. Found this place on yelp, and boy was I suprised! 3 Floyd's, AleSmith, and a number of local Chi beers I cannot get in STL or DC! After wiping the drool from my chin, dropping over $200, and getting a nice tongue lashing from my wife, I cracked open a local Revolution IPA and realized it was well worth it! read more

At first, I was greatly amazed by their vast selection. I was greatly disappointed when I bought my first six pack of craft beer from them (at a less than reasonable price) only to find out after I got home when I started drinking it that it had expired months beforehand. On subsequent visits, I found that several of their beers were expired. Liquor Zone in Bourbonnais has a much better selection, along with Jewel. Won't buy from again, unless I have to.
