I am extremely disappointed to say that this bank has the most poor costumer service I have ever…read moreencountered. I strongly believe the problem was rooted in poor training for employees and extreme classism and/or racism by an older teller named Cynthia. Cynthia refused to serve me, Cynthia refused to offer me an explanation, Cynthia refused to share the name of her supervisor, Cynthia refused to share her business card. When I told Cynthia that this is the most outrageous form of "costumer service" I have ever encountered her response was "Good, go somewhere else". While I am of Middle Eastern descent and just finished a run-- that does not imply that I do not deserve service. I am a well educated, successful, respectful and well spoken contributor to society. This kind of treatment and behavior is embarrassing for this institution.

I have been a business customer of Pentucket bank for about 5 years, and the customer service,…read moretechnology and overall experience has not only deteriorated, but has reached a point of absurdity! Their ATM's are outdated; it takes 5 minutes or more to perform any transaction. Also, their debit cards wear out after a few months. I went into a branch today to replace my debit card and that wanted to charge me $20.00 to replace it. Furthermore, their tellers and branch managers change on a weekly basis which is an indication of a bank that lacks leadership! I am definitely looking to find a good local bank that values customers. Horrible bank

But now my ex husband passed away and that was reported to the bank. They returned benefits checks that were due me because they reported that I had decreased. A person that had written a letter to my brother about my passing, with inaccurate information on what they did with some benefit monies, could not even bother to contact me and to offer an apology. He relayed a message through someone for me to fix the problem by calling Social Security. They found the problem the bank had created. This man is VP Director of Customer Experience. I would say this was a significant failure in his job.
