TD put the checks on hold, which they legally can do and I have no problem with. I met with Sheryl yo see how long the hold woukd be. She pulled-up my account and told me she could see the checks were deposited, cleared and I had spent the money. No matter how I attempted to explain to her and basic math would have shown that I had not spent the money. I left frustrated and feeling belittled, called customer service and they were able to quickly see the money eas in fact just on hold, not spent and gave me a date of availability. The CS agent called her while I was on hold explained the situation to her and still claimed I had spent the money.

This is the WORST bank ever!! I have had nothing but problems and today is the last of this, I am…read moreclosing my account as soon as my direct deposit goes to my other bank. I was told that it takes 2 weeks to transfer and it's "not them it's my employer". We'll see about that. I went in yesterday to cash in some coins. The coin machine was not working, so I went back today. There was an elderly man trying to use the machine. He clearly did NOT know what he was doing. One of the tellers was standing outside taking up an entire parking spot and looked at me, did nothing. I would have been in there before this man had she gotten out of the way. My coins took 1 minute after waiting for 25 minutes to use the machine. Instead of helping the man, the tellers are just standing there without anyone in line talking. The girl with the black and white hair was extremely rude to me. I asked her why she can't help this man and she just stared at me. She then came up with "he was here first". I was there first but couldn't park because the teller was in the way with the man's door wide open. She was helping him bring in jars and jars of pennies. Then she leaves him to shake pennies out of bottles for 25 minutes. He had almost jammed the machine. Then he said he had to go get more coins out of his car. What the tellers could have done was just cashed out what he had so far and added the slips together. "No, that's not an option". Neither is hand counting change, I get "we can't do that either". They also could have helped this man, but chose not to. I am disabled and was in excruciating pain waiting for this 25 minute transaction to be over. As soon as I am able to see my direct deposit, I am done with this bank. Branches are closing, they do not have cash back checking anymore. Instead they punish you if you don't have $500.00 in your account each month and charge a $5.00 "maintenance fee". Their hours are awful. Closed on Saturdays. Another time I went in there and closed an overdraft protection loan because I paid it off, they didn't close it. I see my account still there with fees on it which went to my son's account. If you are considering doing ANY business with this bank, you should definitely think twice. It is a horrible bank with horrible customer service.

If I could give this Bank 0 stars I would. Upon opening a brand new account, I was NEVER told that…read moremy deposits would be held hostage for 5 days. I was NEVER told deposits over $1500 (hello-every person's deposit) would be held for 2 days. So EVERY TIME I make a deposit they hold my funds for 2 days. I was NEVER told you can't make a mobile deposit for 60 days. Save yourself the headache and bank ELSEWHERE!!
