Manager helped secure AAA discount so that I could save some money on an already expensive move. Thank you Penske Delray!

Very disappointing experience with Hertz Delray Beach…read more I reserved a Tesla Model 3 through the Uber app because it showed one was available. When I arrived, there were no Teslas. Jasmine offered me a Polestar as a temporary solution until a Tesla became available. While we were inspecting the Polestar, a red Tesla actually arrived. I made it clear that I wanted that Tesla because I have a Tesla charger at home, and she said she would contact me as soon as it was ready. I emailed her my phone number when I got home so there would be no excuse for not reaching me. Instead, I later got an email saying the Tesla had already been given away and that I would be stuck with the Polestar until the following week. That mattered because the Polestar would cost me about $45 every time I needed to fully charge it at a public station. Since I rented through Uber, those extra charging costs on top of the rental made the deal nearly impossible to justify financially. Hertz did absolutely nothing to make this right. Even worse, the local branch does not answer the phone, so everything had to be documented through email. Do not advertise Teslas as available if you cannot provide them, and do not promise customers a swap if you have no intention of following through.

Buick GMC made all the rental arrangements. I was told by Buick and my insurance company my rental would be waiting for me at Buick GMC, when I got there my rental car was not there. Prior to my arrival (the day of pick up) I had called Enterprise from my home to confirm my reservation I remained on hold for over 45 minutes, after I arrived at Buick GMC and after Buick GMC called them to have someone deliver the car, mind you I'm still on hold with Enterprise, 20 minutes later, a van arrives taking me to Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I'm still on hold. I finally arrive at Enterprise and guess what? No one has answered any phone calls coming into the shop as they are apparently "shorthanded". As I'm still on hold, and my name was called to the counter. The gentleman asks me are you speaking to someone and I said no I'm on hold here at your shop waiting for someone to pick up! Secondly, on top of that, I went to get my car at GMC Buick following the repair . There were still problems with my original vehicle. Buick told me they would extend my rental with Enterprise while they did the additional repairs at no charge. I'm now going on almost an hour and a half, still no car. I had another appointment which everyone knew about but it was still slow moving finally I'm at Enterprise and I get asked. Would you prefer the car? We just drove you back from the Buick to Enterprise or would you like an upgrade to an SUV my response was I don't give a shit I just need to get out of here. With that being said Will, the general manager said we are not gonna rent you a vehicle. After almost 2 hours of this I was done. I asked Will for his manager's name and he said he didn't know it. I said well then how do you contact your boss? He says I just go to the website! Run from this place they don't know how to treat their customers.

Really surprised by all the negative reviews. I had a pretty good experience with this branch…read more I was having my car fixed at the GMC dealer across the street. They set up a courtesy car at this Enterprise branch. I was looking for a particular car type and even though they didn't have it, they took the time to check in inventory at other branches which was very nice of them. Ultimately we could not find the car I wanted. The car they gave me was perfectly fine, and there were no issues with the pickup or drop off. Actually I was in a bit of a rush and they got me in and out both times in just a few minutes. Nice work enterprise, really appreciate the hassle-free experience.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD! RUNNN!!!!! This company will do anything to keep your deposit…read moreand charge you extra money and harass you for months after the incident. I got into an accident and it was the other persons fault. Her insurance covered the rental and the insurance for the rental because my insurance didn't cover it. I sent a declaration over to progressive and enterprise and enterprise still keeps billing me instead of progressive. I'm very very irritated and pissed off. I've talked to Briar the manager 10000000x and unfortunately he is no help. He can only send it over to corporate. Thank god he knew progressive was suppose to pay it and gave me my deposit back! Now I have an outstanding balance of $500 at enterprise because they don't know how to bill the correct people!!!! Get it together enterprise!!!!!! What does corporate even do all day!? Oh and I forgot to mention they harass me for the money! Calling me everyday and if I don't answer they call my mom's phone. How about you call progressive because they are the ones that owe you the money. And your manager at enterprise knows that. I guess there was just no communication or again what is corporate doing!??? I'm very very angry about the poor customer service. And I'm angry at the lady Keira who keeps calling my phone and my family's phone harassing us!

STAY AWAY, STAY FAR, FAR AWAY as many others have said. These people are CON ARTISTS. You've…read moreheard of scam moving companies that up the price after your things are loaded on the truck. Well, this is one of them, only much worse. The initial quote was less than 3k. Then it doubled to 6k. Then it tripled to 10k. It's a total SCAM. After we paid the non-refundable deposit, it was so difficult to get ahold of anyone at the office to find out when our things would arrive at our new home. We were told the movers were driving our things from Florida to Philadelphia on a Friday and they would arrive on Sunday (it's a two-day drive), so we left on Friday as well, driving the two days up there to intercept them. They did not show up on Sunday. They did not show up on Monday. They did not show up on Tuesday. It was a nightmare! They finally arrived with our things on Wednesday after we had to go without our things for three days and the head mover was gruff and rude and did not apologize at all for our things being late. When they first picked up our things, they had already loaded them onto a truck that was much larger than we needed because they were moving other people as well. After they drove off with our things, they reloaded them onto an 18-wheeler for some reason. Then they realized that they didn't have anywhere to park their 18-wheeler at our new place, so they reloaded our things again onto a smaller truck. So when they finally arrived with our things, they demanded another $550 for them having to move our things from the 18-wheeler onto a smaller truck when we never asked them to load our things onto an 18-wheeler in the first place! What was even worse about them reloading our things from one truck to another and another (and charging us more for it) is that a lot of our furniture was damaged or broken. The items in my filing cabinet were tossed around as if it had been in a tornado or an earthquake. I have never had this happen before in my life! On top of that, the filing cabinet was dented. This is an metal filing cabinet that was wrapped in a blanket! It was as if they deliberately went out of their way to damage it. So, we basically paid them a lot of money to damage and break our things.

Before I move on, please note there is investigation in progress against Cross Country by the Attorney General of Florida (Sworn Consumer Complaint) - this is should enough for not hiring them - please follow up with Shawn Lux ( Office of Attorney General Ashley Moody) for more information. Cross Country provided a wrong quote (not sure was an honest mistake). I shared detailed pictures of what I wanted to move and they considerably underestimated the volume. When the carrier came over, I had to pay 1/3 more (total $2.800) - I did have more boxes than I shared with Cross Country so I was prepared to pay more but I also decided non to move some pieces of furniture. The additional boxes were not 1/3 more of the volume for sure. Besides, Hamilton, the sale rep I engaged, lied to me about everything. First he said they would not use carriers (instead they did), they told me would be the same truck that delivers my stuff to my new property. That was not true so my stuff were loaded/unloaded 5 times before the final unload to my property - several furniture were damaged. He also told me they would take 3/5 days (instead it took 10 days).
