We safely arrived to pick up our rental at Enterprise on Woolbright Rd. All of the details had been worked out by our insurance. My car was totaled, as I tried to avoid running over a huge lizard. As I looked out my window, with airbags deployed, I saw the lizard, safely across the street, smirking at me! Anyway, we were greeted with a smile by the young man working the front desk. He asked for my name and quickly found my reservation. I said that I would like a compact SUV. And he found one immediately. He explained the pricing and what my insurance would pay. He quickly brought the car to the front parking lot and told me the important details about the vehicle. It was clean both inside and out, with a full tank of gas. He also mentioned that Enterprise has gently used cars for sale at excellent price points. I expressed my interest. Before I returned home, someone from the sales department called me! Needless to say, I was very impressed with the service recieved from the time I walked into Enterprise Rental until I drove out of the parking lot. Absolutely the worst rental experience I've ever experienced in my life. I'm 56 years old and they made me feel like a child. It was ridiculous. All their rules were so beyond anything I've ever experienced in my life they obviously don't need the business or they would not have made it so difficult. I had plenty of money plenty of ID. They just made it so hard so I hope this finds someone was about to deal with them and it helps avoid the problems I ran into will never rent from them again I'd rather use an alternative company or Turo. read more

David was very polite and business like. He smiled while under a lot of pressure from being very busy helping customers in person and on the phone. He didn't have the SUV I thought we might get according to the website and offered us a far better SUV. The vehicle was a pleasure to drive. GiGi made sure the car was clean and comfortable for us. This appeared to be a very busy location. It's probably a good idea to see what vehicles they have early in the day, especially if you are renting during a weekend in season. read more

Never ever try to rent from this location they give enterprise a bad reputation. Long story short I booked a reservation a month in advance for a pick up truck they called me the week before my reservation Feb 11 to confirm in which I did. I arrived at the location Feb 20 to pick up the vehicle with my family to get on our way. Harrison the branch manager said oh hey I tried calling earlier we don't have a truck the best I can do is put you in a car or midsize. No explanation no nothing basically had to call corporate to have them find us a similar truck all the way in delray and they still wouldn't Honor my reservation price. So I ended up having to pay more money for their mess up. Had this escalated to regional manager no word yet. I never call for people to lose their job but Harrison the Branch manager should be retrained on how to run this operation and his customer service did not try to help for their mistake what so ever. read more

Management here is a worse issue than the limited selection. I initially had a great interaction with Se'Anna the Branch Manager at pickup despite them not having the reserved vehicle. Unfortunately Saif "one of the managers here" ruined the rest of the rental experience by demanding I return the vehicle on the same day or take it in to a local Firestone to service the vehicle for him. He had a complete disregard for the customer's work schedule without flexibility to return the vehicle the following day. He called a day after the contract expired to demand return of the vehicle instead of calling a day or two early to allow the customer to plan the return so it would not conflict with their work schedule. Saif was also suspect in saying he couldn't honor the insurance rate and tried to charge me full rate and then tried to resign at the "body shop" rate. I guess the mangers are on commission here? I had to get my Geico claims adjuster on the line for them to approve the correct rate. Proceed with caution or avoid. read more

The car we rented was not working properly. It was a rainy week and the rear wipers screeched every time they were put on. The car sometimes would feel like it's in neutral when you put your foot on the gas and we would have to shut it off and try again. We complained and they said they would replace it. They couldn't find a car. To add insult to injury we complained and they said no problem. What can we do to make it right? And we said take away the charges for the car they said they would and then they didn't and we complain to the credit card company and they would do nothing. I've actually had a pretty good experience with the several times I have rented a car from this location. In general Enterprise is my go to company, but this one is super convenient for me as it's just a few minutes from my house. Prices are always competitive if not always get a super deal with online coupons. The staff is typically revolving, so it's not likely you will always get the same person when you come back around. However, if you are like me that rents a car at least once a month... then you will see familiar faces and strike up conversations. I think one of the best parts is that enterprise picks you up and drops you off, and this is so advantageous that it keeps me coming back. And their main driver Dan is pretty cool - retired and we always talk when he picks me up and drops me off - so that's just a plus. Overall, an enjoyable place and totally recommend renting from this location. read more

We had a reservation, but had to wait a couple of hours for our car. If you call, expect to be on hold for a while. The first car we received needed to be replaced. We went back the next day and got the same model in better condition. The last rep we were in contact with was Brandon, the assistant branch manager. I would actually give negative one if I could. The cars were filthy. They brought me four different cars. In the last one there were some Clorox wipes and I took one and started wiping down surfaces around the drivers area and it was nasty. The Clorox wipe came out Brown. I registered my final complaint in a frustrated way and yes I did use one swearword that being the word shi__y In describing V quality of what they were trying to provide. The alpha female working on the premises then made me leave the 4th car I was sitting in and would not rent to me because of using a swear word. Well they really tested my patience and I didn't not lose my cool even though I did use that little word. Then I needed an Uber and my phone was running low on battery. Alpha female would not let me come into the store for any reason, not even to plug my phone in for a call. She was threatening to call the police. For what I'm not sure. The police won't come because a person said the word SHi__y. I don't know what kind of sham they are running there but please please please avoid this location. read more

These office charged my mother for insurance she did not need or ask for through what shady but typical rental company practices of asking someone to "sign here" a hundred times on a 10 page contract. To make matters worse, I called on behalf of her to dispute the charge and while the rep was respectful on the phone and told me to wait a few weeks for the claim to be submitted and would likely removed, they went ahead and charged the card for the full amount without any notification (what did you expect?). Very disappointed with Enterprise. My son was set up thru an insurance company to rent a car from Enterprise after his car was totaled by another person. All was set up and he went in to get the car and was asked by agent if he wanted to take out extra insurance for $20 a day. He was to have the car for 5 days and thought this would be good to have so he agreed. The agent told him he would have to put a "deposit " of $150 which would be returned to him within a couple of days. He was sore and stressed out of having his car totaled and signed a contract for 5 days and left. It turned out he had the car for 19 days and the payment was taken care of by the insurance company. It was never explained to him that he would have to call or come back in to extend the extra insurance so he thought that after the 5 days he would be covered by his own insurance. He was wrong. When he turned in car he was charged for 19 days for a total of $417.81 and also he did not get his deposit back so he paid them $567.81. They told him he would have to check with his bank to get the deposit back. I have called 4 times to try and get this resolved. First time was right after he turned car back in on 6/29, then on 7/11 and then on 7/19 and finally today on 7/27. Each time I was assured that it would take 7 to 10 business days for someone from corporate to contact him about this matter, as of this date no one has called. And still no refund on the deposit. I personally have rented a car from Enterprise before, but will never do so again. I will also let all my contacts know to be wary of their practices. There are other car rental places to go, so be aware. read more

Enterprise is only in business because they are cheap and the insurance companies work with them. Their employees don't seem to know what they are saying and just repeat the same nonsensical phrases. The guy in the blue striped shirt was a young kid and looked brand new and absolutely no clue what the hell he was doing!! I brought my friend to take care of some documents for her rental car, and as I "people watched" in the lobby I observed Aisha assisting customers. There were three people lined up - she addressed each one with a genuine smile and advised she would be with them shortly. She asked what each person needed and prioritized everybody accordingly. She approached me as well to ensure I had been taken care of. Her energy was positive and she handled the multitasking like a customer service PRO! This location is absolutely incompetent. Went to pick up a car at this location this week. When walking to the vehicle the employee did not even know which car belonged to enterprise when locating the vehicle in parking lot. As soon as driver door was opened the overwhelming smell over cigars (blunts) and Marijuana almost knocked me over. The vehicle (a Mercedes) had been trashed. There was marijuana and left Ober insides to blunt in console. When vehicle was turned on there wasn't enough fuel to get to a gas station. Save yourself the trouble and go to Delray location on 6th ave those guys are great. If I could rate no stars I would. read more

I went to Florida to have a retreat from the loss of my husband of 26 years. On July 23 I rented a car from Enterprise and paid for all the extra insurance waivers. Later that day I was hit by another car, completely their fault and they took responsibility with me and the police and their insurance company. Enterprise reported a false insurance claim to my insurance company and to date is taking no responsibility for the error now affecting my insurance. After numerous calls and no return calls back from enterprise I'm told to call the place that did the oil change! How ridiculous! Of course the oil change place never called me back and then enterprise tells me to call their insurance company!t They keep blowing me off and they don't care about the fact that their car caused damage to my driveway. Now my HOA is giving me a hard time and wants to find me because of the oil spill on my driveway that looks horrible. Worst experience and zero customer service. An interesting experience to say the least. I was set up through my insurance company (USAA) to have a rental from Enterprise for the period of time my personal vehicle was in the body shop for damage repair. I was directed to the Woolbright office for my rental. The staff was initially very kind and courteous, informative, etc. I was asked to put down an initial $150.00 deposit on the vehicle, which I was previously aware of. Also, the representative assured me that the deposit would be returned IN FULL. From there, I was offered (to the point of a hard sale/scare tactic) to apply for the extra "Bumper to Bumper Insurance", which is an extra $20/day during your rental. Unfortunately, I agreed. After a few days of having the vehicle, I did cancel the extra insurance. I was contacted by my insurance and they informed me there was 0 need for me to have any extra insurance, as they cover the rental fully (just like my personal vehicle) minus the collision deductible. They agreed to cancel the insurance. The issues began once I returned the vehicle. The representative explained that my $150 initial deposit was in process and would show up in my account in 2 - 4 days. Knowingly, my account was charged $197.00 for the $150 deposit and the $47.00 for the extra insurance. 5 Days after the return and the "processing of refund", still no money returned from Enterprise. I contacted my bank before reaching out to ensure there was no pending transactions. As I was under the impression, no pending deposit/refund. I contacted Enterprise corporate to see what was going on. The customer service rep. I spoke with informed me that no refund was initiated, which means I was lied to at the branch office about that. The length of time the rep. gave me that the file would be reviewed was too long in my opinion. I had already been waiting 6 days for something that was promised within 2-4. I was told it could be another 5-10 days before any DECISION was made, not the refund returned. I asked to speak with a supervisor, who was actually, extremely rude and unhelpful. Matter of fact, the customer service rep. was a whole lot more respectful and understanding. The supervisor flat out told me, "I am not going to be processing your refund, whatsoever, sir." I made sure I was on a recorded line and explained what she had just told me and she did confirm. Shocked. After, I proceeded to call the Woolbright branch office to see what they had to say. I was told a completely different story from the other two I had gotten from corporate. The branch office told me, unbeknownst to me, that my insurance company had stopped paying for my rental 4 days prior to my personal car's completion. Although, USAA fully covers rentals (with my policy) for the full term, there is no cap. And if this were true, as a customer of Enterprise, you are to receive a call from the branch office 1-2 days prior to insurance cut off to let you know. I never received that call. I did verbalize this to the rep. from the branch office, and the question was brushed off and led into a different topic. I was told I would be receiving minimal compensation ($30 - $50) for the bumper to bumper coverage and the extra days I had rented the vehicle. I was completely unaware of this, due to 0 communication from the branch office. My card WAS charged for these issues. I politely got off the phone, frustrated. Finally, I contacted USAA, who I explained the situation to fully, I was put on a hold and they resolved this fully, with me receiving full compensation in return and expressed their deepest apologies and they re-assured me I will be set up with a different car rental agency in the future.
