    Enterprise appears to be getting worse and worse becoming the least service centric rental company in South Florida. We "reserved" a car for last week while car was in shop and we called in advance and setup time and pickup. We called upon arrival at shop and called for pickup and called and called, no answer. Finally the acting manager answered and offered they had no cars, no pickup, and that reserved cars are simply "first come first serve". The dealerships porter graciously drove us over to see what may arrive if we did not want a pickup truck. Three parties were waiting, one since 3pm. (It was now 5pm) They gave us a much bigger unit as it came back and promised no additional charge. We then had to wait for 50 minutes while they washed unit. Mind you their car wash guy left to porter someone elsewhere and two ladies dressed as service had to wash cars inside till he got back. We would have simply exchanged a tank of gas upon return and had unit cleaned while in our possession. When we left at 6pm there were still 3 parties waiting for cars and business had turned away 2-3 including a dealer service manager locally. We also noted what appeared to be the GM, a nicely dressed woman (white Honda) hiding in back without helping at all leave for night, while other women were involved in cleaning cars after working check ins. Wow ! UPDATE : during rental period the truck locked up due to Fords alarm/protection. Would not start. Called for help and told that Roadside Assistance would visit BUT we had to pay for their visit. What ?? It's your truck and it failed, we are simply renters. Disconnected battery for 45 minutes and followed google key reset on our own. Truck had 60k miles and appeared to be in need of service as other service lights also came on including service 4x4. Truck was not in that mode either. Location wondered why we would not rate them perfect. Hmm !

    Very disappointing experience with Hertz Delray Beach…read more I reserved a Tesla Model 3 through the Uber app because it showed one was available. When I arrived, there were no Teslas. Jasmine offered me a Polestar as a temporary solution until a Tesla became available. While we were inspecting the Polestar, a red Tesla actually arrived. I made it clear that I wanted that Tesla because I have a Tesla charger at home, and she said she would contact me as soon as it was ready. I emailed her my phone number when I got home so there would be no excuse for not reaching me. Instead, I later got an email saying the Tesla had already been given away and that I would be stuck with the Polestar until the following week. That mattered because the Polestar would cost me about $45 every time I needed to fully charge it at a public station. Since I rented through Uber, those extra charging costs on top of the rental made the deal nearly impossible to justify financially. Hertz did absolutely nothing to make this right. Even worse, the local branch does not answer the phone, so everything had to be documented through email. Do not advertise Teslas as available if you cannot provide them, and do not promise customers a swap if you have no intention of following through.

I got into an accident and it was the other persons fault. Her insurance covered the rental and the insurance for the rental because my insurance didn't cover it. I sent a declaration over to progressive and enterprise and enterprise still keeps billing me instead of progressive. I'm very very irritated and pissed off. I've talked to Briar the manager 10000000x and unfortunately he is no help. He can only send it over to corporate. Thank god he knew progressive was suppose to pay it and gave me my deposit back! Now I have an outstanding balance of $500 at enterprise because they don't know how to bill the correct people!!!! Get it together enterprise!!!!!! What does corporate even do all day!? Oh and I forgot to mention they harass me for the money! Calling me everyday and if I don't answer they call my mom's phone. How about you call progressive because they are the ones that owe you the money. And your manager at enterprise knows that. I guess there was just no communication or again what is corporate doing!??? I'm very very angry about the poor customer service. And I'm angry at the lady Keira who keeps calling my phone and my family's phone harassing us!

I had no idea how charging happened and spent 4 hours of my rental time trying to find and put juice in the car. The last time I sprained my wrist trying to manhandle the charger and get it filled it up then made it home. The next morning of day 2 after a full charge $20 worth the car broke down on me. I called Thrifty and told them them the car was broken down and i was strained in the rain and they said ok take an Uber. I said no, they should pay for my uber home and they finally agreed. I finally made it home from the break down in thee rain and called them and they said they would not charge me for the 2nd day. 2 weeks later I get an invoice from them showing they did not remove the 2nd day charge. Bottom line, is I got a 1/2 day use a of a car I didn't want in the first place and was charged for 2 days rental and loss 20$ worth of power that someone else got to use. Trust the other reviewers here if you don't believe me, they are THE worse and failed me at every single step.

He found me a compact car in minutes, had it cleaned and prepped, honored my AAA discounted reservation and had me on my way in under 30 minutes. I was very pleased.

Even during the busy holiday season, when things can get stressful and some customers can be difficult, they remain patient, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. They take the time to make sure everything goes smoothly and do their best to resolve any issues that come up. While other rental companies in the area were overbooking and even canceling reservations (which is crazy), Mike took great care of my rental and made sure everything was handled properly. Website indicated there were many (compact, mid-, full- ...) available. When I showed up, Manager Andrew told me "Yeah, we don't have any cars". Airlines also over-sell their capacity, but when they are oversold, they are obligated to compensate you ("$400 to take the next flight"). This unfortunate site has an unsustainable business model. Hopefully, they will be removed from Kayak and Google Maps soon. If you would like to gamble on being stranded, then reserve a car here.
