First, this place is empty and smells of an old dusty closet. No smell of food present.... I'll finish review once my food arrives. So the food arrived and it looked good, then tried to cut into the biscuit and it was hard, then felt it and it was cold. The hotel I'm staying at is advertising this place, I wouldn't suggest either. Really disappointed.

Server was prompt and very friendly. It's set up like an old time diner and is very clean inside. Food was made to order and pretty good. I got the western burger which wasn't bad but the bacon could have been cooked longer. Overall not too bad.

All the classic dishes like the lavosh, the prime rib enchiladas, the voodoo, chicken, etc. are still on the menu. On the whole, our table enjoyed the meals we got. That said there were a couple little notes I have. I've said it before, but the way they plate salads is impractical here. They serve side salads on small glass plates. Of course I appreciate the effort to make it a nice sized salad and fill up the plate, but with no overhang and no depth because it's not a bowl, it makes it really difficult to stir around without making a big mess. They don't serve the salads tossed, so this continues to be an issue for me as a diner. The other thing I noticed is that the building itself definitely needs a little TLC. Everything just looks a bit worn... in particular the walls, the baseboards, places where there's wear and tear, and it just doesn't look as crisp or as modern or updated as it could.

I've been coming to this location for a few years now, and it actually holds a special place in my heart. We celebrated our engagement here back in 2021. My usual go-to is the Baby Back Ribs; they're fall-off-the-bone tender and truly the best in my opinion. This time, I switched it up and tried the Steak Kabobs. They were SO good and might just become another staple order for me. The veggies were delicious and the wild rice was the perfect pairing. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, keeping our drinks refilled and checking in just the right amount. I'll definitely be back!

The onion rings are huge, definitely enough to go around for everyone. The breading is what got me. They were cooked perfectly, but tasty and crunchy at the same time. Finally said hello I ordered an IPA (very good beer but visit went down from there) there were dirty glasses amassed on the end of the bar a gentleman asked her why and she said her drain is clogged she can't wash them. He put on a glove reached in the drain and pulled out piles of limes lemons garnish and told her "it's clogged because you put all that shit in there" she came back with "to be fair it's not just me." Glasses remained. I then ordered a club sandwich (California style which is added avocado) while waiting I took a pic of the beer taps go share with my husband because we love beer. Because of hos questions I (waited for her eating and typing again) and asked if they sold cans or crowlers to go. She had to ask someone if they still have cans (no) and had no idea what a crowler was. I'm visiting so a growler wasn't practical. Food comes. No detectable avocado. I swear she was going to reach over and spread apart my sandwich but she was annoyed and told me "well I rang it up right!" Like that matters. Eating decent sandwich and i notice a nitro tap. Ask her about it she explained it 1000% incorrectly but i got a splash anyway. It was very good and I ordered one. Check comes oops needs to take off avocado upgrade (didn't leave it long enough for me to look harder. 2nd attempt realize she didn't charge me happy hour price for the beers huffs away to change that. While she was occupied a manager type person was near me and said "how's it going" my answer was "beers good but she's dumb as a rock" ok not the best word choice but I was beyond frustrated at that point. He snaps at me about how horrible it is to call people names )I didn't call her anything just an observation) he starts to madly comp my check (I had asked for nothing) she asks why and he told HER what I said then She address me "well that's a mean thing to say" I now have 3/4 of a beer left and I'm sitting at a bar with a pissed off bartender. He won't let me explain or in anyway tell him what happened so I went and sat at a small table with 2 empty beers on it so I don't have to stare at her. He comes over and loudly busses the table without a word just a dirty look. So I finished my beer and left. PS glasses still not washed woman still picking at food and playing with the register. Don't live there so won't have the chance to check it out again but as a beer lover.. very nice beers. service gets an F

There is seating internally and also patio seating perfect for summers. We were seated immediately at a booth. They were already looking a little busy for a Sunday afternoon lunch crowd. We ordered two beers. Hubby's was light and what sounded delightful to me a vanilla porter. Loved hubby's beer. Didn't like my own- it tasted too bitter and coffee like. I was expecting a smooth sweet-ish dark vanilla scented porter with chocolate tones as described. We both weren't feeling too hungry so I ordered crabcakes for my meal from the starters menu. And hubby ordered cheeseburger without buns. The crabcakes were not really what I was expecting- looked a little pitiful when it came out with a small bit of coleslaw and a couple of pieces of avocado. Tasted good really- but I also wasn't expecting corn in the crabcake. Overall- delicious but small portions even for a starter. Hubby got the cheeseburger without buns. Everything was fresh. But he wasn't feeling very well and so didn't finish it all. We then ordered a red velvet cheesecake for dessert The base was chocolate cookie. And the cheesecake was velvety smooth. I didn't care for the whip on top nor the extra icing on the cake. The cheesecake itself was delicious even though a tad too sweet for me. Overall, a great time. We will be back.
