What an awesome way to spend my birthday. We had 3 wineries on our list to visit but once we stopped at Peltzer, we didn't leave. Our bartenders, Dillon and DK were phenomenal. Very knowledgeable and fun. We had a group of 21 ladies and we all enjoyed ourselves. Thre entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even gifted me a bottle of their great tasting Prosecco as a birthday gift. We all loved the little tasting glasses, too bad we had to leave them behind, unlike some of the other wineries. Other than that, we all wanted to buy some of the olive bread they give with the tastings but it was sold out. We will definitely be back!!! read more

Don't care to come back. First let me just preface the fact that most of Temecula is 21+. We've been going for years now and joined pelzter after being told Sundays were not 21+. We recently went and parking was a nightmare. After searching for a place to sit we decided to go to members area (current members) they told us that the members area was 21+ on Sundays. So we went into the barn (non members area) to enjoy a glass a wine. Well then they told us that strollers were not allowed in the barn.... The amount of rules this place has with 0 signage. We had to leave our stroller outside. Whatever no big deal. After long thinking my husband and I decided that it just wasn't worth it anymore and that we were going to cancel our membership. Well we had to pay $75 fee because if you haven't received your mandatory 4 shipments you had to pay a cancelation fee. This is all something we had no clue about.... Lets just say we won't EVER come back. There are plenty of other family owned wineries that care more about there customers elsewhere. read more

I came here twice. The first time, I would give this place 5 stars. It was recommended by a friend for its ambiance, a big barn, silo, rustic charm. They serve their red/white wine tasting with Great Harvest bread. It was great on a Monday this summer. Service was great! On a Sunday in September, we were able to find a seat outside and at the outdoor bar with sangria and wine. We chose the sangria sampler, which was refreshing and dangerous! It got hot so we headed inside with our group. We stood at the bar for our wine tasting and service was horrible. There were plenty of employees, mostly 20-30 year old guys, who did nothing but stand around. However, our server was a woman, possibly involved in ownership. She seemed to have too many duties and was juggling our wine tasting as well as logistics elsewhere. Still a beautiful winery with good reds and whites. I liked their pinot grigio. They have less options than other wineries but enough for me! read more

Sorry for the 2 star review but they earned it. First off I'm not a fan of the cattle call system of the way you pile up for a tasting. They could have a host or appointment system. Second the folks pouring wine know little about what they are serving. A simple study guide could be given to them. Third the glasses, what the heck was that? Nice place to come to. My family and I have been here multiple times. Will continue to come here in the future. Sometimes it can be a bit crowded though. Especially during special events like the egg hunt this past weekend. Very crowded and at times chaotic. Especially the lines to pick up wristbands and tickets. Hard to tell which line was which. Staff seemed to try their best to keep things organized. It took an hour and a half in line in the hot sun just to jet the complimentary shaved ice. Also, even though parents are told to stay out of the egg hunt area there are some that can't seem to control themselves. My husband and I did the tour with Kelsie and she was amazing! We truly enjoyed our time. The live music was so much fun and the wine was great. We enjoyed it so much, we stayed until closing time. Ok I'm gonna be honest that I feel like this place warrants one of few true 5 star reviews I went for my sisters bachelorette party and was not disappointed. My other sister booked us a tasting tour which was a steal at only $30 each if I remember correctly - and it came with a box of cheese and crackers and 6 different glasses of wine. We got there early and hung out to get some AC and eat since they had a food truck when the operations manager (I forgot his name but he was so nice!) asked us what we were celebrating and gave us a free bottle of prosecco while we waiting for our tour. Danae helped us on our tour and we told her beforehand that we were hoping to stay indoors since it was so hot out, which she gladly accommodated in their wine storage room. After having gone to a different winery in Temecula literally right before, this definitely knocked that one out of the water. The server at the last place poured heavy but Danae educated us on each of the wines and how to properly go through the process of tasting them which I really appreciated. All of the wines were amazing in their own way (I've had some very mediocre wine lol) and I can honestly say my tasting at Peltzer converted me into a budding wine snob (hah) I'd wholeheartedly recommend coming to Peltzer during your next Temecula trip and definitely / especially requesting Danae who was so fun, sweet, approachable, and knowledgeable! The fact they are so prejudiced against families that they allow no kids on the weekend has severely soured our previous love of this winery. We live out of state and we love Peltzer wine to not be able to visit while there because we have a toddler is very upsetting and we feel attacked as young wine loving parents. not everyone can afford for a babysitter when your in a state on a vacation. So I would give this a 0 and tell all other young parents steer clear there is a lot other truly family friendly wineries whose wine tastes much better. This winery is not truly family friendly as they boast. read more

NOT kid friendly. Rule #1 on their posted signs is to keep your kids at an arm's length. If you violate this rule and let your children move outside of your strike zone you will be spoken to by the uniformed security guard and the owner and then closely monitored until you leave. Writing this a bit late, but my friend and I went up to Peltzer Winery for their Nashville Nights event they were throwing. We decided to get there early because I had never been and she really wanted me to do their wine tasting because it came with a bread pairing. Who doesn't love bread?! Kenneth was the one who helped us and he was nice and funny! He made sure to explain what the wine was I was drinking as well as the pairing of the bread with it. He could have said they name of the wine and the bread but he tried to explain it a little more. He made the whole experience more fun! As for the Nashville Nights event, so much fun! There was a band, amazing food, and dessert to die for! Next time there is an event at Peltzer I will me dragging all my friends up to go! read more

This winery was not only beautiful but they also had a great wine selection. Unfortunately due to the recent California covid rules we were unable to do any tastings, but the wine we ordered by the glass was good.
