    Cheese curds

Beak Breaker Hazy IPA was delicious. Took one home. Sadly the only food I got a pic of was the cheese curds. They were good. Crispy on the outside. Not as melty on the inside as I would've liked. The ranch they gave with the curds was really good. Lots of dill in it. We ordered the fish and chips. Fish was good. Could've been better. It was overcooked. Fries were good. Asked for another cup of ranch. Guy just pointed me to the premade cups below the counter. Nice deck outside. Order your beer. They pour and give it to you the. Order food you get a buzzer. Pick it up yourself. Bus your own table.

Another great location! So happy they opened this location recently in Rockaway Beach. This area could use more restaurant options, and Pelican Brewing is a perfect choice. The only drawback is the parking situation. They do have a small lot, but everything else around there is street parking. There's plenty of seating inside, including an upstairs area. They offer a nice variety of food and drink options. They offer beers on tap, and cans for purchase to takeaway. Our group ordered burgers, tuna melt and fish & chips. We all enjoyed the fries; nice and crispy on the outside. Everyone enjoyed their food as well. They offered a nice portion for the money. We also ordered the cheese curds and brussel sprouts. Both were delicious! Staff is super friendly, helpful and attentive. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. The front area where you order is pretty small and can get congested. Overall we were very happy with our visit. We're just so happy to have another food option in this area. Highly recommend.

A small gem in Rockaway Beach that's absolutely worth the drive to the coast. The food was exceptional and the service truly outstanding. Compliments to the chef for a beautifully prepared lunch. The fig and bacon burger was delicious, and the pelican fish and chips was fabulous. Portions were just right for us. We'll definitely be back!

The best! Teresa is amazing along with the rest of their staff. Went for happy hour almost every day of the week! Right by the beach with a cool atmosphere.

Very good beer. Had the nachos, very good. Cool atmosphere. Very good service. We will be back

Super cute little brewery tucked away in Rockaway. Definitely a little pricey but so is everything now a days.

Good location. Order at the counter. No vegan options at all, so got a couple of beers and then bounced.

Both Pizzas were good, not great but it was decent. Prices are ok. The young lady that took my order was nice and very friendly. She was obviously the one that handed my order since she said my name as I walked in. It is sorta like a local dive bar but I would sit and have a drink for sure. Overall not a bad experience. I would go back.

The service was very good, and fast. We didn't quite get through shooting pool (free) before the food was served! We had been out to find fish and chips the night before in another nearby town, were served portions that looked like child plates. So we were happy to be served a decent amount, plus had enough to take back to the campsite for later. My only suggestion might be to put some color, maybe flower baskets, or planters in half barrels, out front along the main road. The place is easy to miss and hard to tell if it's open for business if there are few cars there. The view out back to the lake is beautiful!

It screamed Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeve, or Kellerman Resort (Dirty Dancing) with the wood paneling, historic photos and memorabilia on the walls. The booths/tables are large and spacious. The view is Pacific Northwest perfection. We spent a large chunk of our breakfast watching boats, people fishing, and crabbing. It did take a moment to be acknowledged or seated, but it is worth the wait. I think they only had one very sweet host, and she was also taking orders, and running food. I ordered the coconut french toast (half order), and a side of the crispiest bacon. I also order crispy bacon, but rarely does a location truly get it right. There tends to be floppy flaccid parts, and flaccid is never a preference, especially when it comes to crispy bacon. This bacon was crisped to perfection. The french toast was very good, but quite sweet. I couldn't have handled more than a half order. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak, with a side of biscuits and gravy. He annihilated his. We appreciated all that Pirate's Cove had to offer, and will return should we find ourselves in the Rockaway/Garibalidi area.

Extensive seafood menu. BUT... First came HOMEMADE BREAD, which was FLUFFY, SOFT and SO LIGHT with a small ball of salted butter. Wow I thought, I'd return just for that! However...when the rest came, it was such a let down :(( LUKEWARM food almost cold.... - Watery oyster soup that needed much more seasoning and more creaminess to it. - So underwhelming crab cake entree with one small cold baked potato. The butter I put on didn't even melt! The crab cakes were the worst I have ever had. They were cooked with OLD OIL used way too many times so the smell was just awful. Bread, yes, bread is one of the key ingredients. So just imagine, two crab cakes that are heavy, with soggy bread as key ingredient, with some crab and a bit of other usual crab cake ingredients cooked in nasty oil! --The lady who waited on me was very KIND and ATTENTIVE. --The food, just YUCK except for the FLUFFY SO LIGHT bread and butter :((( ----One star - for the service and for the bread and butter! ----Overall high price for hardly edible food! And the lingering odor in there is not great...
