Amazing view from the parking lot!

Super friendly staff are so welcoming! You cannot beat the view, we watched a family of eagles swooping around and playing during sunset. The food was delicious - local oysters are so tasty, my crab louis salad hit the spot, and he enjoyed his surf & turf. We would love to come back!

I first visited Pirate's Cove back in 2011-2012 and still dream about their coconut French toast -- easily one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. So on a recent trip I was excited to come back. Heads up: their hours online don't always match what's posted on the building, and it seems they open when they're ready. We were lucky they opened at 12, but they weren't serving breakfast anymore (sadly, no coconut French toast this time). That said, the food we did get was delicious. The house clam chowder was light, not overly thick, with good potato and clam chunks -- definitely house-made. I ordered the salmon club and it was outstanding: smoky bacon, fresh salmon, tangy tartar sauce with a hint of BBQ, and all layered into a triple-stacked club sandwich. A little messy, but absolutely worth it. Overall, I was disappointed not to find breakfast, but the seafood dishes made up for it. If you're coming, don't count on breakfast hours -- but do try the salmon club or chowder.

Tasty food, amazing view, great service, comfy big booths. A great place we stumbled upon. Things are less salty than normal restaurants.

Pirates Cove Garibaldi is now open to serve breakfast beginning at 8am to 11 Wed thru Saturday and on Sundays from 8 am to 1pm . The food was fresh, made from scratch & delicious! Libations and service were also top notch! Highly recommend Pirates Cove Garibaldi.

    Best cheesecake I've ever had!

Driving along the Oregon Coast on the way back to Seattle, we were looking for a nice spot to have lunch, past Tilamook, we ended up at Pirate's Cove. First off, Holly's welcoming smile and cheerfulness was very warm. We were not too hungry so we just had clam chowder and split a shrimp with melted Tilamook cheese on sourdough. That is all good but Holly brought out the dessert tray and we ordered this lemon blueberry cheesecake which was something that will be hard to forget. So delicious! Had to go so took the other half as take out. Nice place. Way recommended!

We stopped at prorates cove restaurant for some evening treats and decaf coffee. The wait staff brought out a beautiful tray of scratch made dessert offerings. We decided to go with the creme brûlée and the chocolate molten lava cake! Both were very good but the molten lava cake is a must! The sizes are definitely share size. The views were romantic and unmatched of the bay. We will definitely be back!

Came here for breakfast and it was great. It was eggs with seafood. Lots of choices, fair prices for what you order. The lady who served us was great.

The food and service was wonderful but the view was best of all. Clam shower and seafood omelette were top notch. There was only one server while we were there and she hustled to get all her tables taken care of.

I hated to do this since I have had great experiences in the past. That said a recent meal here was highly disappointing and very costly. 2 stars are for our waitress (she deserves more-Service was good). Food awful, overcooked, tasteless. I'm thinking they changed chefs or possibly their vendors? Steaks completely overcooked (ordered medium), bread very dry, soup lacking nearly any broth, onions on steak chopped and raw (not sauté). Prawns deep fried and tasted as if were out of a box. Drinks were tasteless, literally watered down. Luke warm even. $100.00+ was spent on 2 deserts to go (good), 2 drinks, 1 calamari (also undercooked and flavorless)...charged us for the complimentary bread. They offered to remake the steaks; at which time we were done with the experience. They did remove those (steaks) from the bill. Won't be going back.

The food was decent, and the view was very nice, but the service was shockingly slow. We waited more than a hour for our food and my wife's salad never showed up. Our waitress looked like she was about to drop dead of a heart attack any minute. They had these fun custom salt and pepper shakers, but were dirty and looked like they hadn't been wiped off in a year.

Food quality / price (value) rating 9. The atmosphere is Surfside dining where all booths have a view. Every booth and table is huge, and seats six people. The menu is mostly seafood, and it even has a large section dedicated to Halibut. I had the Blackened Halibut, a 6 oz filet prepared beautifully. It could have heen a little spicier, however. I got a side of Garlic Cream Cheese mashed potatoes and it came with a small amount of fresh fruit. The wife had the Halibut with Crab, and it included a decent amount of crab, and was also very good. We split a Cheesecake and Berries dessert, which was rxcellent and WAS BIG ENOUGH FOR FOUR PEOPLE! Our server Jessica was personable, efficient, and well versed in restaurant service. This place is one of the few higher end restaurants on the area.

To say this place is a sticker shock is an understatement. Giving the condition and atmosphere of the building... Our fault on the part for not checking the menu before hand but still. Looking at the location you'd think a cute little ma and pa seafood joint in the middle of nowhere..... Our waitress was nice and made some small talk but she definitely seems super new or didn't give to shits about her service... she was very overwhelmed and it didn't seem like she was getting much needed assistance. My husband and I shared a small appetizer shrimp basket, I had a side Ceaser and we each had a small cup of mediocre clam chowder. I had a beer and he had a cocktail. The chowder was not fresh and I've never seen it separated like it was... lacked flavor but it did have the potatoes finely cut which I prefer. Our kids had a chicken nugget basket (probably Costco nuggets) and a fish basket Our total was 73.00 Also, whatever soap they use to wash their napkins smelled heavily of floral perfume which I'm allergic to and left my hands/mouth burning and red...:/.

My family and I were in town on vacation and were looking for some seafood. After a little bit of…read moreYelp research, we decided on The Fish Peddler. I'm almost a little sad that we picked this place first, because I don't know that any other place we eat at is going to be as good or better. This is a combination restaurant / fish counter. Don't let that discourage you from eating there. When we walked in, there was one table left. Always a good sign when a place is busy, especially during the off season. There's generally a reason why the other places are empty. In addition, there was no smell from the fish counter. A sign that everything is fresh. Honest, you really don't even notice there is a counter there once you sit down. We went with a half-dozen oysters on the half shell, Dominic's Fish and Chips, which is the fresh local catch of the day. Today it happened to be Rockfish, always one of my favorites, the Shrimp and Chips, and The Cioppino, which is a seafood stew. This has clams, mussels, fish, prawns, and crab in a tomato sauce. There's a decent selection of beer as well. First, I want to say these were some of the best oysters I've had, fresh out of Willapa Bay. We should have ordered a dozen or two. These came with some lemon and fresh horseradish. Try the horseradish! The oysters tasted great with nothing on them or with a little fresh horseradish. The fish was fried perfectly, golden brown, not oily, and not overcooked. You can easily tell this was fresh Rockfish. The shrimp were fried perfectly as well. The Cioppino was amazing! Again, all the seafood was prepared perfectly. But it was the flavor of the stew that really stood out. This is a dish not to be overlooked and tastes great on a cold day. The food here is outstanding! Though this is a combination market / restaurant, the atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting. The service was great as well. Everyone here was friendly. If you're looking for some great fresh seafood, the Fish Peddler is a must eat and there are plenty of items on the menu that can bring you back multiple times. Honestly, I hope we come back here before we leave town.
