Came back to this yummy little pizza joint. It had been a year since we were in the area but knew we had to stop here for yummy pizza again. We had a party of 8 which they handled like pros and were nice about it. This place is tiny and cute and clean and had amazing food. These are all the things that make this a gem..

We stopped by crab rock pizza on a busy Friday night during the summer. Crab rock pizza is a sweet little Pizza shop located in garibaldi Oregon near the bay/docks. The pizza was excellent. Everything looked fresh. They were throwing the dough as I waited for my order. They have indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of parking. I would recommend ordering in advance, especially during busy times.

This was right next to the motel we were staying at and I really wanted pizza (go figure), it's a nice little wood fired pizza place right along the harbor with both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the Riptide pizza which was really good, I usually like more topping (especially cheese) but this just worked. The edge crust was perfection. Right consistency of crisp but chewy. The only downside of this was that at the center of the pizza the heat made it sweat which made it sweat but did not keep me from eating it. Also paired it with an orange cream soda from a small brewing company called the Public Coast which I really enjoyed as well. Service was just average but I didn't go for that

So if you are a fan of pizza like myself then keep on reading because my friend, you will want to... RUN to this pizza place! If you stay at Hotel Garibaldi, do yourself a favor and take the five-minute fast - walk to Crab Rock Pizza. The staff put so much love and pride into their craft, from their sourdough starter to their high-quality ingredients. I got a simple cheese pizza, and I swear--it almost made me cry bestie - The sourdough crust was perfection, the cheese blend was rich and balanced, and the tomato sauce (imported from Italy!) brought everything together in the most authentic way. You could feel the passion in every bite and after a full day of shorting family sessions I was excited to devour half a pie! Families all around me were loving it just as much as I was, and it's now one of my favorite pizza spots on the coast -- A MUST TRY!

My wife and I went here with a friend who said "best pizza you'll ever have." Bro is usually a bit of a troll and so I knew I shouldn't take him too seriously as I've had pizza from both coasts already! Needless to say, he was right. The Sow and Fig is so DAMN MEMORABLE! An absolutely unique taste and definitely an ambitious choice for a first timer but my god. The flavors are immaculate. For those wanting something a bit familiar and more tame, The Rough Bar is a wonderful choice. And the Greenside was suuuper tasty too! Now if pizza is not your thing, the Gelato is TO DIE FOR. I wish I lived in Oregon so bad because the Hazelnut flavors are just better there. The wife and I can't wait to visit again and make this place a staple. The owners and the staff were super sweet and accommodating even though we wanted to try a little bit of everything haha. And lastly, the bathrooms were the most pleasant and clean I'd seen in a long time. Maybe I'm just bitter here on the east but I feel like bathrooms are typically never cleaned lmao. Sorry for the long review but 5 stars warrant it. Long story short, a great place for an adventurous and hearty appetite. You won't leave feeling that "I ate too much greasy pizza" feeling. And the staff were dope and kept the place cleanly.

If you're looking for a chain pizza place this is not it. This is Quality woodfired pizza all fresh natural ingredients. Small little place has beers on top and super fresh ingredients. All the combos are very good.

Great people. Great place. Even greater pizza. We visited Crab Rock with two hungry kiddos and left satisfied and stuffed. The pictures alone from other past patrons convinced us to try Crab Rock, and we were not disappointed. The small, inviting atmosphere has a great ambiance and I love a "order at the counter" system. We enjoyed a brief chat with the owners who were excited to ask where we called home. Although the room was full of families, our piping-hot, freshly baked pizza was brought to our table in what felt like minutes. I got the Hobsonville and every piece drew me into the next. It has a beautiful flavor and just-right filling amounts of each ingredient. My sensory-and-texture-sensitive son can be picky...but I'll let his review of the Dori (Cheese) take it away: "This is the best pizza I've had in my life." "Best day ever." "You're totally bringing us back here Dad." What he said. Thank you Crab Rock. Unless you're opening a location soon in Camas, it looks like we'll be planning more 2 hour drives to hang out this Summer!

Business is going great! Called to order take out and they were too busy to answer. Tried a few more times in route but no luck. It was 7pm and they close at 8 and we are staying in Rockaway Beach (about 15 min drive). We ordered when we arrived and it was about a 30 minute wait for our pizza. They were nice and helpful when ordering. Has to be the best pizza place on the coast. They even have local gelato available. Our margarita pizza was pretty burned. Pizzas were good and was light enough that you could eat one per person. It was just over $40 for two pizzas. Crust is a little chewy but overall felt it was a good find. Location is cute along the docks in Garibaldi. Plenty of seating outside and picnic benches outside.

In fact, it was one of the most memorable stories I've heard all year from a long-time local. You see, in its current form, Marzano's operates solely as a take away pizza place several evenings a week. But, years ago, this location included a dining room. Imagine, if you will, a foggy night on the coast, off season, and you bring your family to Marzano's and order a bottle of wine to share with your partner and some Garlic Cheese Bread for the table to nibble on while your pizza bakes. When the pizza arrives hot from the oven and your cheeks are rosy as you are surrounded by the aroma and witness the cheese still bubbling as the mighty pie is delivered to your table. Hot pizza on a cold night is a magical thing. I've been a regular customer for the past year and have settled on the Combo Traditional as my favorite pie. Three sizes available (10, 14, and 18 inches) and slices on the large pizza are significant, so I recommend you have them double cut. They have a prime location only a couple blocks from the beach, so parking can be a bit of a challenge in the summer, but they do have short term parking out front. Now, one last tip from a semi-local... they don't accept timed orders. So it is a bit of a learning process to figure out when to order starting at 4:00p, since the wait can be anywhere from 20 minutes to 2-1/2 hours based on the day of the week and a few other factors. But, it is one of our favorite dinners in town if we time it right. I just can't help but wish I got to experience the Marzano's dining room on one of those long ago foggy nights.

We also tried the fried chicken gizzards which were surprisingly really good - solid 8/10. Also worth mentioning they come in a FULL basket, so definitely great portion size. The cup of chili was just okay for me, probably around a 6/10, but not bad by any means. The highlight honestly was our bartender 10/10. Great personality, patient, and we genuinely enjoyed our small conversations throughout the night. Loved the local vibe here and would definitely return next time we're in town!

We started out by taking the self guided tour of the cheese process, then we went to sample - they had five types of cheeses for us to try. Here's my ranking in order of favorite 1. Then we stopped in another section to learn about the farm and milking the cows and the types of cows they have. We made our way through the timeline then headed to the cafeteria area to try some of their food. We ordered the burger and subbed fried cheese curds with all the sauces (ranch, chili ranch, and bbq) and the mac n cheese. The food was just okay tbh. If you are coming from out of town I recommend coming early in your trip so you can bring some home, tragically none of us could buy the rarer cheeses due to flights the next day. One thing I would have loved more of was more information/experiences in the cheese making process included in the free self-guided tour, it focuses more on packaging. I love to see machinery and the actual 'how it's made', but unfortunately didn't have time for the paid tour. Overall though, fun place and worth a stop! P.S. pro-tip: they DO have lactaid in the gift shop.
