If I could give us a zero star I would. We drove all the way from trafalgar indiana Which is over a 4550 minute drive. We get there and we get seated. We can go up and get some food and it all looks like it's been there all day. We also went around 530. The lady on the phone told me the dinner price was 8.99 on the phone Per adult and kids 3 and under are free 3+ kids were 4.99. We kept having to go up and get plate after plate because everything we tried was either extremely hard or dried out nothing was fresh. We had to get up and get our own drinks because no one really ever came back over to help serve on us if you had to ask for some thing they seemed irritated and mad. After a little while the lady brought us her check. Our check was $70. They charged us more than what they told me on the phone. When we told them we didn't think it was fair for what we were paying for all the food that was all dried out and have been there all day. And that's not what they told me on the phone before we came over. The lady then got mad and acted like she was going to grab my card out of my hand because I didn't think that the service was good or the price. She then got mad at us and took off five dollars. I will never refer this place to anybody that I know. And will never be going back again. read more

Absolutely awful!! Food was cold. And I love Chinese food but could not stand to eat the food here. When we told the personnel they got hostile about the issue. Very rude and not understanding at all. Let alone I couldn't understand her. It was my worst restaurant experience EVER.!!! read more

We were just passing through and looking for a decent Chinese buffet to eat at and instead we found this dump!!! Food was absolutely disgusting!!! Appeared to be there at least all day and possibly days old. Had a hard ti.e finding anything that remotely looked appetizing at all. Wish I could give it less than 1 star. Nice atmosphere, decent food. Service is, however, subpar. I used to come here with my boyfriend on occasion in the past two years, but the recent addition of rude staff has us looking elsewhere. My boyfriend first went in to eat by himself after work one night and told me how the staff basically was rushing him to eat then pay. I didn't believe it until I went with him. Where do I start? Our waitress didn't offer refills and was slow to take our finished plates. We let it slide, giving her a chance. However, as we were still eating our desserts, she handed us the bill and expected us to go up and pay immediately. After explaining that we would pay once we were done eating (as we've done before with no problems), she backed off but continued to watch us eat and giving us dirty looks. And this was during a slow hour, with maybe two other tables filled. Okay... Like I said, food is decent. Not the greatest/freshest, but at least General Tso's chicken was pretty good. read more

We took my son and his family here for his birthday. He loves crab legs and we checked with them before we went if they were all you can eat and were told they were. We have NEVER been treated as rudely as we were there. When my son politely asked if there were going be bringing more crab legs out soon the hostess began screaming at him in Chinese!! They finally did but only a few. There were some members of the party that got none at all! To make matter even worse the food was disgusting. Items on the salad bar warm, items on the steam table cold. Two different employees (can't bring myself to call them servers because they didn't) refused to give us the manager's name or number. We spent $115 for the worst meal I have ever had. Will eat cat food before returning to this place. read more

We visited on a Sunday. The tables and booths were filthy and sticky. The buffet was barely warm. The crab legs were not available for 30 minutes or more, even after we asked twice about them. When they came out there was only about 7 legs. After taking a couple and sitting down to eat, I notice that my crab leg is smelly mold was all over it. I asked the waitress about taking a couple dollars off my meal for the spoiled crab. She speaks no English. I asked the cashier who I find out later is the owner. She was rude and very aggressive calling me names.....I told her I was willing to pay for what I had eaten but I thought a couple of dollars off would be fair because we went there for crab legs. Nope. She wasn't having it. She suddenly starts holding her chest mumbling something. She falls up against the wall like she is dying .. I kept trying to pay but she wouldn't respond. I tried to pay a waitress who also would not take my money. 5 times I'm waving my money around. No one would take it. So I walk outside. She suddenly recovers from her heart attack, runs outside and says she is calling the police. I was happy! I wait...and wait and no one shows so I think she's bluffing. I finally left. Well she did call the police....said I assaulted her ( what??) ...I went back and paid the bill and paid for the spoiled crab as requested by the officer. But I wouldn't go within a mile of this place if I was starving...and yeah...Im calling the health dept tomorrow. read more

Terrible. Came in restaurant at 1:00 on a sunday. Food looked as though been sitting a long time. Buffet pans were on filled about a 1/4 full, and dried up. Paid 10.98 each on a sunday for seafood buffet. And they never filled the crab legs pan. I tried some of them as they looked dried out. And they were awful. Absolutely no flavor. They were waiting for the last crab leg to be taken out before they would fill it. Will never go back was pretty obvious they were watching their costs, on the expense of their customers. Stay clear of this one. Left hungry and bill was $27.30 for the two of us. read more

They will not refill crab legs and are rude if you ask about (and still don't). They refuse to keep up on the food 2 hours before closing. Also, My boyfriend and I saw a roach on our booth. read more

2-25-2015 I have been to the restaurant several times, and every time it gets worse. There is a lot of selections but they are just warm or not enough in the buffet pans, plus the prices have increased too, the ( hot ) tea was just warm. We were there at 6:30 p.m. dinner time. We were surprised that we were not billed in advance for a buffet, but we found out why when we got a bill for close to $30 for 2. I don't need to have someone pour me a glass of tea for $1.99 at a buffet so that can be added to boost my bill and garner a tip (not). Furthermore, if I "choose" to pay that much for a meal, then I would expect a little atmosphere and not to be inundated by children of the staff running around amongst the patrons. Use to go there at lunch time a few years ago and food was hot and pretty good. Good enough to go back several times. Went there tonight after a couple of years of not going at 7pm. Food was all cold and looked like it has been sitting there since lunch time. The only good thing was that you can have a fresh plate of food cooked there while you wait. There were no egg rolls and I asked and the lady pointed at the spring rolls. I tried one and it was cold and terrible. I have been there probably 20 times over the last few years and I will never go back. When we were checking out, mildly complained about the food being so cold and he swore up and down that it was hot when they put it out on the buffet. Seriously though, most of it that was out there looked like it was sitting there for at least a few hours. Hard to argue with someone that can't speak English very well though. Don't waste your money. Drive to Mooresville a 15 minutes away and go to Dong's. Much better. Will never be back to Peking again. By the way, the ice milk was cold as expected. read more

Awful. The food was cold. It was a Saturday night at dinner time. Some of the food had been alright and even good tasting, but many of the trays at the buffet, itself, had very few pieces and food was hard and/or cold. To top it off, when we tried to tell the "head lady" that the food was cold and we were wanting to leave she questioned us and tried to explain what a buffet was and that she could "bring out hot" They cooked us two meats and noodles in two minutes and it tasted alright, just alright. The buffet was very lacking and the amount of time the few items they had had been laying out there must have been quite long. The service itself seemed to be of inconvenience to them and while we were there I did not see them bring anything else out to the buffet bar. At the end of our "meal" the same lady gave us a check and didn't mention the poor service; so I told her that the food was mostly cold and while it was nice they cooked some more, the service given was definitely not worth the price. She replied that I didn't have to tip but the price was the plate price of the two meats they brought out after the cold food and that she thought the pricing was low and better than elsewhere in Plainfield.
