This casual spot is comfy and offers a booth next to an outlet for time to work if you need it. I ordered a Honey Lavender Matcha made with oat milk - it was creamy and delicious! We were also excited about the varied options for scones and baked goods. I was tempted by the cannolis, but decided on a cherry white chocolate scone and was blown away at the flavor and texture. I got the peach salad that came with curried pumpkin seeds and shredded asiago and croutons. I added grilled chicken for $4. I wished there were some fresh peaches on it but the salad was tossed in a peach dressing instead. The croutons also tasted like fried pieces of sandwich bread. I will say, I was so pleasantly surprised by how delicious this salad was! Holy cow, after a few days of camping, having vegetables was one thing, having this salad changed my outlook on life. My fiancé was a little saddened by the fact that we will be no where near this place (from Connecticut) becuase he thoroughly enjoyed his brisket wrap. Maybe it's the Mid Western charm and hospitality, but our experience was so great. After getting the bill, our waiter (who had two colored socks on and my friend thought he only had one, but alas, one sock was just black while the other was a hot pink) offered us our drinks to go and brought us back a full cup of iced tea and Dr Pepper. Parking was an issue for the same reasons and while I don't mind too much going to the atm, it's 2024 and cash and check only businesses can be frustrating.
