Good pizza for the area and reasonably priced. Also really nice folks greeting you at the counter.

The man at the register was excellent, no complaints there. Man at the front gets five stars.

Visited here with a large group and they were extremely accommodating. They have a large dining area with plenty of tables and seating. Everything was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. We purchased multiple pizzas as a group and did our own little buffet set up. The pizza was amazing. Every kind we tried was delicious. I especially loved the thin yet crispy crust. We will be back soon. read more

Love their pizzas and the service is great also where that are located now has a great ambiance.

Amazing pizza and Cheesy Garlic Bread. I love their Marinara sauce and the crunch, crackery, crust is my favorite on the pizza. It was so hard not to finish the whole pie in one sitting. They have lunch specials 7 days a week also so be sure to check those out. read more

Tomato paste for sauce, zero flavor hits IMO. Crust is so thin is pointless! Not impressed. You expect a mom and pops pizza joint to be above chain pizza but just about every chain pizza is better than this. Don't waste your money on this. Very little effort into their product is what I see here. read more

Disappointing. We paid $80 for 3 pizzas that were just ok and did not look at all like the pictures on the website. The picture for all meat and supreme that we ordered where round thick crust cut into pie sized pieces. What we got was round flatbread cut into squares pieces. The toppings were also skimpy. read more

Square cut, just okay pizza and flavorless wings. The service was good and the pizza was fresh and hot. The chicken wings tasted like old grease so I guess that's a flavor. ‍ It's an average pizza joint and they have square cut pizza if that's your thing. I prefer a standard triangle like normal pizza. read more

Closing soon as they sold their location to the City. Unfortunately the new location is not viable. And they are trying to sell the name and recipes only. Not sure that is going to work out for them. Their pizzas are pretty expensive. read more

I ordered pizza with the works as I had in past years. What I got was next to nothing for toppings The crust was awful. Like I said...where are the toppings?? I wondered when I picked it up, it was very light. That should have been a clue something was wrong. I paid over $ 26 bucks for crap pizza. Too bad because we used to get one every week, now I remember why I started going to Little Cesars!! I can get two pizzas with actual toppings for the price of one Big John's nasty Pizza. Beware, I normally give all positive reviews but just absolutely need to warn you all. Do not waste your money, you deserve so much better food. read more

Great place went with my Scout Troop and service for 10 people was amazing. The pizza was great and the environment was a mom and pop style. Great place definitely recommend. read more

Wow! I totally enjoyed my pizza! I loved the thin crust. I don't like thick crust. It seems you lose a lot of the flavor of the toppings. I ordered the Supreme. The spices were great. I tasted fennel which I love. Don't know if it was in the sausage or the sauce? As I ordered the 9" I was disappointed I didn't order a larger pizza. Would have enjoyed some leftovers tomorrow! It was worth the wait! read more

Supreme Pizza Freshly updated exterior and interior. However the product isn't a value. Average quality and amount of toppings for a Franchise pizza. Not sure being in the family since 1970 makes good pizza. It's average pizza at a Premium price. Oh and plates and napkins other items you will be charged for! Just letting you know my opinion glitzy without the YUM. read more

This is my very favorite pizza in the entire world! The crust is the perfect thinness. The toppings are fresh and yummy! The people who work here are absolutely lovely. I ordered delivery and had to run an errand ... I left a note on the door to please leave the pizza inside. When I got home there was a sweet note on my door saying that they left it on my counter. How amazing is that! And it's like that on all levels. What a great company! Way to go Big Johns! read more

One of my local favorites. Whitehall doesn't have a lot of food choices, and many restaurants come and go that is why it is important to note that Big John's has been in business for well over 50 years. All my family loves the thin crust pizza. However, for me it is not really my thing! That is why I love the fact they have so many appetizers, and other meal options! I highly recommend the fried portobello mushrooms! Everyone is happy when we order from Big John's. Not to mention: when you pick up your pizza Christian music is playing in the background. Creating a calm, relaxed environment. Whether dining in or eating on the patio; you feel happy to give your money to a great establishment that gives back to its community. read more

This is a signature pizza for the area. If you like crispy pizza with a a bit of a tang from the cheese and sauce this will be your jam.

I'm not really a fan of thin crust pizza but my family is. They say it was good. Service was fast

We arrived to a family lake house and they just picked up some pizza from Big Johns. I couldn't stop eating it because it is exactly what I want in pizza. Thin crust pizza with fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back when we need to order some pizza for the family! read more

Big John's is moving to the Plumb's plaza in Whitehall. Their pizza is the best around and I personally love their Chicken Parmesan sandwich w/fries. Also the garlic bread with cheese. Everything is great! They will be reopening in October, in their new location! read more

A local pizza place that has been a staple to the community for several years. Good pizza and subs + a variety of appetizers to choose from. I was bummed that the bbq chicken pizza was more barbecue than chicken. Consistency is key in the restaurant world, so I hope in future visits that does not happen again! Overall a decent place for a pizza craving. read more

Stopped in late Friday night hoping they were still open. Yay! They are open later on Friday! We ordered a half-and-half pizza with Hawaiian on one half and Chicken Bacon Ranch on the other half. Tomato base on the whole thing with ranch drizzled. The meats were very generous, not like some places that put a few pieces scattered around. I mean lots of delicious meats, and then plenty of cheese! The crust was not too thick or too thin, just right! read more

This is always our stop for pizza when we come to the Whitehall / Montague area. They make a great pizza and it's even better because they're near Fetch Brewery. We can order our pizza and eat it at Fetch. We usually go for the veggie pizza and maybe a side. The crust and sauce are always good. The service at Big John's is always top notch and you can tell they really aim to please. Give them a try. You'll be glad you did!! read more

Big John's is our favorite go to for awesome thin crust pizza. The wings are great too!

Ok tasting but I am not a fan of dry thin tasteless cracker crust. I felt like I was eating pizza on a dry cracker.

Pizza is delicious! Great local family owned business! I highly recommend..Many menu options to choose from. Pick up and local delivery

Tried them for the first time today and got delivery to Fetch Brewery. Got the Supreme Pizza and fried dill pickles. They were both fantastic. Great thin crust and spectacular sauce. We will be doing this again!! read more

Really loved this place ! Being from Chicago it's not easy to find a good slice of pizza when your out of state sometimes. Had a great family friendly atmosphere, and the owners were super friendly and polite. I liked that it was a intimate setting, nothing fancy just a little pizzeria, but nice lighting and a cozy place to take the family. Ordered the wings and a Pizza both really great!! Was just treated incredibly rude by the owner when they made a mistake with my order. While trying to discuss, she hung up and said to never order from them again.
