Empty restaurant with 35 minute wait on order.

This is a second chance review! They have improved tremendously!!! I would recommend this place now, very good food. Veggie burger was great needs to be firmer but had good flavor. Tuscan grilled cheese was amazing definitely a winner. The power wrap was ok too much oil imo but very good. Now the star of the day for me was their fries wow are they good.... Overall pleased with my lunch I will be back soon.

Delicious food, nice coffee shop style atmosphere, and friendly staff. The dirty Chai latte was the best I've had. We will be back.

We stopped here on the way back from Electric Forest and it did not disappoint. I got the Chai Tea Latte which was absolutely delicious and hit the spot. It is sweet but still delicious. I got the sriracha honey biscuit which included a biscuit with egg, bacon, and cheese. This was also delicious. The sriracha honey did not really stay on the biscuit but where it was on the biscuit was absolutely yummy. The service was good, but a little slow. For instance, our drinks took a half an hour. The ambiance of the place is casual. I was most impressed by the prices of things and the quality of the food.

Oatmilk iced latte with decaf coffee and shot of caramel syrup

We were staying at an Airbnb nearby and needed something for breakfast. This place had some vegan items on the menu so we decided to try it out. I was a little skeptical but it was that or a typical greasy spoon with not so many vegan friendly dishes. I was very pleasantly surprised to see the espresso machine and that they do offer decaf coffee and espresso plus few diffetent options of dairy free milk. We ordered at the counter, got a number and headed to the booth. I got a oatmilk ice latte with decaf coffee and hazelnut syrup. It was phenomenal. I haven't had such a good latte in a while. Hubby got regular coffee and he also confirmed it was very good. For breakfast I had avocado toast with seasoned potatoes, he had breakfast burrito. Both were very good. Well seasoned and fresh. Did I mention the coffee? On our way back home from the dunes we stopped by again so around 5pm as I needed another iced coffee, it was so good. We decided to stay for dinner. I got the vegan burger and he got regular burger. We also split a side of fries. Both burgers were again delicious and the best part were the fries. I've never seen potatoes cut this way but they were amazing! We got two iced lattes to go with oatmilk, decaf and caramel syrup and we enjoyed it on our 4h drive back to metro Detroit. It's rare that we eat at the same place twice a day but I'm glad we did as the food was really good, fresh and homemade. And the coffee...I should mention the coffee...mmmm... We will be back for sure. The place is very clean, modern decor and friendly staff. Be prepare to wait a little for the food but it's worth it.

Amazing little cafe and lunch spot. One of the best Broccoli Cheese Soups I've ever had.

The Veggie Goat Panini + bacon and avocado toast + egg

Great local spot for anything from a coffee or Italian soda to a snack or meal, any time of day. Order at the counter, take a number to your table. Very cafeteria-like feel in the seating area, though the booths are comfortable. Clean and modern decor with nice bathrooms. Service is quick and friendly. Food is moderately priced, but good. I tried something new... veggie goat panini with bacon added to it. They cut the bacon up so it was easy to eat. Overall, I find the paninis to be very greasy, but maybe that's just how paninis are. The housemade chips are really good. The avo toast is definitely something we can make at home for half the cost, but my daughter said it was very good. I love their chili... just wish they offered it in a cup size, not just bowl. Lotsa good coffee options and they are good with modifying. They also have a drive thru. Colby's is a great addition to the White Lake area... happy to have ya here. :)

This new cafe is so wonderful! The portions are huge and the flavor of every meal was great. All the food is homemade and that definitely is a plus. Today all the staff could not have been friendlier.

I'm so glad to see a place like this in Whitehall! I don't live here anymore but would have been thrilled to have it growing up. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, breakfast served all day, and tasty coffee. Perfect for me! There's also plenty of gluten free options and baked goods. The only complaint I'd have is that it's a bit pricey - so - I don't think I'd frequent as much as I'd like, but it's worth the cost. Hoping this place stays around.

A great new spot in Whitehall! What I have been wishing for! The space is so welcoming and clean. Colby's Cafe features coffee, bakery items, breakfast and lunch items! At this time, Colby's Cafe is open breakfast-dinner time. The prices seemed reasonable. The bread for the grilled cheese was fabulous and the seasoned potatoes tasted great! I did order a piece of carrot cake to take home and it was certainly the best carrot cake I have ever had. I wish this establishment great success!

    Sweet potato breakfast bowl (special).

This place is amazing, I have been here a couple of times and each time I am beyond impressed with the quality and creativity of the food. The coffee is great and the mugs let you settle in. This restaurant is a bit hidden but you will be rewarded when you come in!

    Frozen Italian Soda
    Logan W.

This place serves up breakfast: Breakfast Burrito, Pastries, Coffee, Espresso drinks, frozen sodas(like a shake), and Lunch: Paninis, Burgers, Fries, Soups/Chili all day long. My personal favorites are the breakfast burrito, reuben, chicken bacon panini, espresso and frozen Italian sodas. It is super cute in here and I highly recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch or dinner... Or even just a coffee, espresso, or Italian soda. Also, they have a drive thru if you're just looking to snag a drink! Great addition to the white lake area!

Everyone was incredibly friendly, offered great recommendations, and made us feel welcome the entire time. The vibe is a 10/10. Whether you want to sit on the patio, inside, or at the unique breakfast bar, there's a spot for everyone. I wish I had taken pictures because every dish that came to our table looked incredible. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage and hash browns, and it was grilled to perfection, packed with flavor, and served piping hot. We also shared a waffle with blueberry topping, and it was easily one of the best waffles I've had in a long time. The prices were fair and right in line with other breakfast spots in the area, especially considering the quality of the food and service. If you're in town, do yourself a favor and stop in. I have a feeling you'll be just as impressed as we were.

Our waitress was super kind and attentive, which honestly carried a lot of the experience. And I have to start with the highlight - the chai pistachio latte. Phenomenal. Perfect balance of bitter and sweet, the pistachio flavor hit, and easily my favorite part of the meal (also just aesthetic). Food-wise, it was a mix. I got the Gouda Breakfast Burger and I loved it - juicy, cheesy, stacked, and exactly what I needed (pregnant me was very happy ). I'd honestly come back just for that. My boyfriend got the Kickin Chicken Benedict, and while the jalapeño hollandaise had a really nice kick, the poached eggs were more "gel" than runny... which is a little disappointing for a brunch spot since that's kind of the main event. Other than that, my boyfriend said it was alright. We also did ask for extra crispy hashbrowns and... they definitely did not understand the assignment. More soft than crispy, which was a letdown too. We also tried the Peanut Butter Stuffed French Toast - good, but not super memorable. For two people, our total was over $80 (three entrees, two lattes, a coffee, and an orange juice), which felt a little high for the overall experience - but not unreasonable if everything hit a bit stronger. Overall, this place has some strong highlights (drinks, burger, and service), just needs a little more consistency across the board to really stand out.
