Honey Glazed pork ribeye, carrots and those little potatoes with REAL key lime pie for dessert! Yummmmm

We came in this past weekend for lunch after seeing the positive reviews. There were 4 adults and 1 child in our party. Asked for a table outside and were told there weren't any (despite us seeing many). When we switched to inside we were told 15-20 minutes (again, many open tables). We all got drinks from the bar and decided to wait. About 20 minutes later were told our wait time would be increased to another 25-30 min. By this time many people were waiting. Seemed very understaffed, dirty, messy and chaotic in there. And definitely not fancy as advertised. We finished our drinks and went elsewhere. Disappointing experience all around. read more

Great location with views on the outdoor patio. Unfortunately the food was subpar. The service was okay...nothing amazing, nothing bad, just okay. I tried it like the last restaurant at this location and well...I won't go back. It's a great location that attracts not so great restaurants. read more

Hanson Hill has been a great addition to the White Lake area! The new owners have absolutely changed this place around from what it used to be. Each time we have visited we were greeted by a smiling face at the hostess stand. The space is calm and inviting. The neutral colors match the beachy vibes that the White Lake area gives. The dark red paint from the previous restaurant is gone and I am glad because it made it feel like a dungeon in there! There is also outdoor seating that overlooks White Lake and Montague in the distance. It is truly the best view of the area! The Edison lights on the deck also really level up the space. The bathrooms are well kept and clean. There is a large free parking lot in front of the restaurant behind the furniture store. Each time I have eaten here everything has been so flavorful. The grilled chicken wrap is certainly my favorite. The sauce in it is so good! It isn't too spicy. The menu has a variety from handhelds to entrees, including seafood. Seafood is hard to find in the White Lake area but Hanson Hill has shrimp, mussels, perch etc. The service has always been timely and punctual. They all are great. Hanson Hill has become a favorite. I also really enjoy how involved they are in the community. They are a part of every community event and they cater local events. 5 stars for sure! read more

My wife and I stopped in after a recommendation from a local store near by. They accommodated my wife's gluten and dairy allergies and her glazed Pork ribeye was excellent. Great outdoor seating area. Vigilant wait staff. Wonderful food and cocktail menu. Prices are par with similar restaurants. My friend ordered duck (small portion) and said it was very good. I enjoyed a Hot Honey chicken sandwich with homemade chips. Will definitely revisit! read more

My hubby and I went for a celebration on NYE. The waiter was prompt and excellent. The atmosphere was nice and the view is beautiful. Our food arrived timely and was delish! Appetizer: bang bang shrimp. Different but I liked it. Healthier version and we appreciated that. They are not breaded but have a good flavor and tender, heres the kicker- the heat is in the delish interesting Japanese style salad thats on the plate. If you combo them-= its yummy, healthy bang bang shrimp. We usually order the roasted brussel sprouts because they are the best and addicting. Dinner we shared the Bayou Pasta. We had enough to share and I couldn't even finish mine! Its creamy comfort and just the right low heat flavoring hits the spot. I also appreciated the toasty ciabatta bread that came with it! Finally, after years and years, I feel this place is finally gotten decent! no, not everybody will probably agree with the quality, but it sure is an improvement and I feel like it's better and better every time I go there! There is very good things on the menu like their corn dip their bang bang shrimp, their root vegetable salad is very good(Add grilled chicken )to it. Their hot honey Chicken sandwich with sweet potatoe fries .Their cocktails are very good. We have become regulars there and have been very happy with the service! read more

It was our first time in Whitehall and Hanson Hill did not disappoint ! The sea bass was amazing and the ravioli was fantastic. My son said it was the best perch he has ever had. Service was excellent and it was a beautiful night to sit outside on the patio read more

Food was ordered while we were on the road. It was served within a few minutes of our arrival. Waitstaff was great. Carli took part of our order on the phone but I had to hang up because we were in a dead zone. She still recognized us when we came in. Food was great, though very spicy (we both had the Pasta Bayou). My husband ordered his without onions and there were no onions. That doesn't usually turn out well, so double kudos for that! What a breathtaking view! Having said that, somewhat disappointed with the food, although it wasn't a completely bad experience, there was some YUM for sure! I ordered the Sesame Ginger Stir Fry, and it was offered GF to me, which was a delight since I rarely see something Asian-style on the menu that is GF. So here goes: The kale/vegetable blend was done to perfection, taste-wise & texture-wise it was spot on, and I finished every last bit of it! I opted to add chicken. This is where I was extremely disappointed. I am very skeptical these days of 'add on chicken breast' because it always seems to be frozen and heated (not at The Station Grille and I can say I am super impressed by this, and no I do not work there or affiliate in any way I am very appreciative of a chicken breast made on the spot and fresh tasting- so take note if you care about improving over being insulted and make a change IT MATTERS!). There was a bit of char on the chicken, and a few grill lines were noticed, but still, the integrity of the chicken breast was destroyed and for me this is unacceptable. I was hoping to love, Love, LOVE it, but was surely let down by the chicken breast add-on being a frozen chicken impostor. Another thing to note: since I ordered it GF, all the grains were removed from the dish. I would have loved to see, at the very least, some quinoa atop the entree for texture and that delicious grainy flavor and hardiness that we GF people crave. But again, the vegetables and flavor were very good, and I would absolutely return for this dish, I would simply opt for the no meat add-on (a $6.00 loss for HH each time and with each customer who felt this way, something to think about perhaps). My drink was also very good; I ordered a specialty drink with gin. The gin to soda water ratio was good, and it was very refreshing. Cudos to HH for making a nice cocktail! If I could offer advice- no fake chicken breast EVER! Customers always remember that, no matter where you go and you're not saving money simply because customers will not repeat ordering it on any of the salads/entrees, so you'll actually be losing money when/if we return. Also, our waitress was so lovely. She truly was a doll. I would suggest, however, offering drink refills more often. My husband sat about 15 minutes with an empty glass on a very warm evening, on the deck. I was offered another, but declined because I felt I might as well wait now since my meal would arrive shortly. I would have ordered another had she offered dessert and drink after. And no water was refreshed, a must on a hot night, and always do refresh in my opinion! Overall: HH food is good. My husband is picky with burgers, and he said his burger was 'very good' and grilled perfectly. I'd rate a 3.5 rather than 3 if allowed above, and a 4 had I not had the chicken! Even though you can go online and order curb side service it is not available when you get there. Hostess was unfriendly. Offered no apologies or explanation just repeated we don't do curbside and that was that. Too bad. We could really use a nice restaurant at this location. read more

Our service we received during our visit was an ABSOLUTE grand slam! First of all, beautiful space, excellent views, very professional and attentive staff. Our server, Zach, was an excellent host and made us feel right at home. Started off with fried green tomatoes and bang bang shrimp appetizers as suggested by our server. Both were incredible. My husband tried the pork belly sandwich, and I had the grilled salmon with herbed rice and gorgonzola potatoes.. To say we were blown away just isn't enough. The level of creativity and care in our dishes was just SO impressive. My husband and I were also fortunate enough to be visited during our meal by Jenelle, the general manager. I was touched by her warm welcome and genuine love and care she has for the staff and establishment as a whole. A true delight during our meal! My only wish is that I had room left for the delicious sounding desserts! 10/10 highly recommend, and will definitely be back! read more
