Walking thru town with my friend & her dog, hadn't intended to stop anywhere so didn't have our masks... was able to get a table/seat outside with the dog. Server was very friendly. I had the turkey wrap & tots, friend had burger & tots. Food was very good & very filling. Friend got gin & tonic - said was very good. I enjoyed a node cold water.

I love this place but the drama is out there. 2 employees were talking about getting freaky with each other. She was a young looking girl with long dark hair wearing short shorts showing off the tattoo on her right thigh and he's the manager. He's married for goodness sake and she looks 12. Keep that stuff in private. I don't care that she has to take parenting classes either. I don't want to know about him looking out the window to make sure they don't get caught and she wishes he wasn't afraid of getting caught. Found out to that she's texted a few of my guy friends, that go to the pub, wanting sex. Thought this was a pub not a drama filled brothel. The food and drinks were good though.

Well oiled machine. They greet you immediately and help you settle in to a very comfy setting. Music, pool, sports in TV. The type of pub atmosphere you want! Great beer selection and meaningful portions of food. The staff is very friendly. Damn nice place.

Service was awful, food came out cold, ambiance was dirty. Def a dive bar posing as a restaurant.

Gross. It's time to remodel. I felt like I stepped back into the 80's. If they were playing music from then it might have been tolerable.

The Big Bang burger is definitely in my top 5 favorite burgers. Their wings were also very good and like the menus says: crispy.

Some talented and some not so talented regulars took the mic and definitely entertained us. This place has it all going on - great beer options, a limited but worthy menu, friendly wait staff and bartenders, and a good enough cook who can, no doubt, produce good versions of everything on the menu. We loved this place. Other Yelpers I read were enthusiastic about it calling it "a great Michigan dive bar. They weren't wrong. We were so happy with this place we went back the next night. I'm a fan. You will be too. Black and Blue burger was awesome - both nights. My friend had a patty melt on rye he liked - both nights. Karaoke nights are Thursdays abd Fridays.

Well I got home and discovered they charged my credit card over $5 for something I already paid for . Terrible place !

They have a wide variety of beers and and when we spoke with the server, he told us the philosophy of Pigeon Hill is to brew quality beers with consistent quality. Definately worth stopping in , especially when the weather is warm to enjoy the outdoor seating area and the views.

We paid 90 something dollars for a veggie platter, to have wilted tomatoes, dry carrots and no broccoli. We paid 15 dollars a pizza to have the pizza just to be cold and small. If i recall it was only a 12 inch personal pizza for 15 bucks.. And the chicken in the pot was soggy because they steamed it for an hour before we where able to access it. We noticed a safety hazard and made sure management noted it for when we leave and not shortly after that they jacked up the music very very loud intending to kick us out. Overall we where really disappointed and would not recommend this place for a get together.

Yes, they have a small parking lot, and don't fret if you have the park on the street like we did, as we were seating promptly and it didn't feel too crowded. Since we were seated at high tops near the bar, the bar tender was our waitress, and she is literally the nicest, good energy, engaging human ever! She also whips up the custom, creative mimosa recipes, kudos to her for her awesomeness! I ordered the Shakshuka, flavorful, delicious, would order again. Even as a non-vegan, it was satisfying and would recommend to everyone. Husband had the 1964 Worlds Fair Waffle, and it was tiny. Not what you envision when you think of Belgian waffles. He also ordered the Belgian Forest Bacon, again VERY small portion, so much so that at the end of the meal, he had to order a side of the Smashed Maple Sausage. Both our drinks (I had the mimosa) were fantastic and worth ordering, loved the glassware! Aside from the small portions of waffle, bacon, and sausage, the cheerful vibes here are contagious, and I'd dine here again in a heartbeat!

One companion had the Moroccan stew and enjoyed it. Another had a burger, one had fish and chips (fries), another a steak. Interestingly, their steak is cooked in vegan butter. Service was good. TVs are a bit hard to see from the dining area - there is a row of doors acting as a wall between the bar and dining area which blocks the lower part of each TV. Nice outdoor dining space. Will definitely go back.

I call it fate that my 1st choice for dinner was too crowded and noisy for a day of traveling/…read morebiking. But The Alley Bar & Grill was Perfect for what we look for in small town places that don't have bells and whistles but everything else that matters. Great staff interacting with the customers, serving great food and drinks with a welcoming atmosphere. Our server, Sondra, and her fellow "chef" were working hard in the kitchen making the tastiest looking pizzas. It was a challenge to choose our food because we were really hungry. The menu is smaller but everything on it is high quality eats. I had cheese curds and tried the Pollock filet, crinkle cut fries and slaw; my friend had wings with buffalo sauce and the French dip, steak fries and slaw. I asked for another option for dipping and their cocktail sauce with the curds was a great combo. Although the ranch dressing tasted homemade. I'd never had Pollock before and I enjoyed it with malt Vinegar, generous portion lightly breaded and I almost finished before finding a few bones in the meatier part. I know it's expected but I have a quirk when I find a fish bone, I'm done. My friend's French Dip had a generous amount of meat, on a soft hoagie type roll and was "so delicious". This place had just about everything fun to do inside: beer pong, pool, darts, fooseball s as nd even a room/ stage in the back for live entertainment! We had the jukebox this evening, playing good classic rock and when it stopped my friend was going to fill it up with coins and keep it going. But we overheard Sondra encouraging a guy to, "Pick as many as you want to because it's free." Prices were $$ for the quality and portions of food, clean inside and atmosphere. We parked in the street and walked about 300 ft to the door, which has 2 steps to enter. I highly recommend that you go find out what's happening in The Alley, I bet you'll have a great time!
