When you walk in, it has a warm, inviting vibe. There are a variety of tables and seating options (including some couch and comfy chair type seating). You order by going up to the counter, and they either call your order or will bring it to your table when it is done if you are eating it there. One down side is that there is a fairly large menu and it isn't always easy to find/see all of the options when you are waiting to order. My daughter saw someone got a bubble tea but at the time we were looking, that menu wasn't easy to spot so we didn't even know it was something they offered! All of their food items are made to order (well, I suppose except for the soup which is home made and just dished out to order). They even have soup flights on certain days! I need to go back and try that because every soup I've ever had here has been delicious. They have the standard coffee menu but also always have some unique and quirky seasonal options. They also have smoothies, bubble teas and some other unique creations. They have tasty breakfast and lunch sandwiches, breakfast scrambles, mac and cheese and a variety of sandwiches. Every…read moreweekend we try to hit up a new coffee shop, and on this day we happened to be passing Aroma Joe's, so we headed on in. This was actually my second time at this shop in three weekends. They have both a drive-through and the option to walk inside. Both times we ended up walking in, and the inside has a decent amount of seating along with a display case for some baked goods. I believe they also had four people working on both of the days that I was there, and as you might imagine, they do a brisk business. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with a Paris Toast Latte while my wife went with the Nor'threester Iced. The menu described mine as maple, brown sugar cinnamon, and shortbread, while my wife's was white chocolate, vanilla, and coconut. It took about seven minutes from ordering until we had our coffees and were on our way. My coffee ended up being pretty good as the mix of the three syrups melded well together. It was a touch on the sweeter side, but you could still taste the coffee on the finish, which I appreciated. My wife enjoyed her iced coffee here as well. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. As a matter of fact, I already have, as their coffee and flavors are solid.

They had several different types of cupcakes available and I was excited to try a few. I decided on 3 different flavors: Strawberry Fields, Queen of Tarts, and The Acorn. The Acorn was a chocolate/peanut butter combination that features a cute little acorn-shaped buckeye on top. The peanut butter flavor definitely came out. The Queen of Tarts was a terrific lemon/raspberry flavoring. Not only did the lemon cake taste very citrusy, but there was fresh raspberry preserves inside the cake mixed with a lemon curd. My favorite, though was the Strawberry Fields. The fresh strawberries in the middle, combined with the perfect buttercream on top was just the start. On top of the buttercream icing there was a dusting of strawberry crumble. The flavor of strawberry really came through on this cupcake and it was delicious. The icing on all of the cupcakes was smooth and delicious. There was quite a bit of icing, which can sometimes take over the cake, but that is probably just personal preference. The cake, in my opinion, could have been slightly more moist as the cupcakes were all a bit on the crumbly side. But all in all, the cupcake flavors came through wonderfully and I really enjoyed all the combinations.
