Cookie Case!

Cookies are their jam! Nice selection, always fresh and delicious. My favorites are the apricot filled and peanut blossoms.

Donuts maple iced, strawberry iced with sprinkles and chocolate iced with mini M&Ms

This place is so good that I find any and all excuses to go back home using Route 30 even if it takes longer Growing up, I remember selling their pies, cinnamon rolls and snails -- everything is fresh and their renovation expanded their options even more! The deli sandwich I had during my most recent visit was great and the homemade roll was the icing on top (pun intended). I also love their pizza and highly recommend it. I had to get some donuts while I was there, too -- they're the old fashioned, doughy, homemade kind and they come in a ton of great varieties. Definitely worth a stop for lunch or breakfast if you're in the area or need an excuse to be like me!

I stopped by with my sister on the way to the airport. I walk in to the smell of delicious baked goods. It took a bit to decide as they have so many choices. We ordered an orange cookie, mini blueberry pie and pepperoni roll. We enjoyed them outside on the patio. Our favorite was the orange cookie, soft delicious and great flavor. The blueberry pie was good but could have had more filling in it. The pepperoni roll was exactly what my sister had been wanting. The bread was so soft and tasted fabulous. The filling did not take over the bread so you could enjoy both. What a great shop!!!! We saw many locals getting take out, wish we lived closer.

The BEST orange cookies, maple doughnuts, pepperoni rolls and lemon pies!! I'm from North Carolina and always drive 30 minutes from my in-laws to splurge on the tasty goodness!

Most of the pies available, plus cakes and pastries around the other side

This little pie shop totally rocks. I mean 6 types of apple pies, seriously. We stopped to pick up a blueberry crumb pie. Will update with a pie report when we get home.

After much debate, I ordered the glazed oreo doughnut, a pumpkin gob, and a chocolate chip gob.

It did also have a sort of weird layout where it looked like the ovens were maybe up some stairs in the back but that is not really anything that the customers need to know. After looking over the cupcakes in the display case my wife and I decided to split the lemon and blueberry cupcake which had a blueberry filling and also the salted caramel one. We ended up taking these home and then eating them later in the night. They were both decent cupcakes but the opinions of my wife and myself differed as to which one was better. I preferred the salted caramel as it had a nice strong caramel taste while she preferred the lemon and blueberry which I thought needed to be stronger. In the end though we were satisfied and happy to have been able to try more than one flavor. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Buying the cupcakes was a breeze and the flavors of them were pretty good as well.

The cupcakes looked beautiful and tasted delicious, and both the bride and guests were beyond pleased! In addition to the actual product, the customer service is top notch. The owner was willing to work with me on whatever flavor combinations, icing styles, and decorative features I wanted for the cupcakes, and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend them for baked goods for events or just to satisfy your sweet tooth!

I saw a social media posting that they were featuring Native American frybread to celebrate Indigenous People's Day, and I have always wanted to try that. Portions are huge and delicious, and the people behind the counter are incredibly kind and welcoming. Their frybread is 100% authentic: the owners are Native Americans and are very proud of their culture. The frybread could be ordered sweet (with honey) or savory (with a choice of pork or chicken, including salsa and a cilantro cream drizzle, plus an excellent soup). We tried both, and both were excellent. I was impressed that their advertisement of this dish included a link to a Smithsonian Magazine article that explained the cultural significance and controversies surrounding frybread. Their counter in the food court includes cultural artifacts and information about Native Americans as well as foodstuffs. This family-owned bakery/food court food counter features a beautiful range of baked goods, including one of the best cookies I have eaten. No menu is posted, which could account for lack of food traffic. When I asked about this, I was told that the menu changes often and they are not ready to post a permanent menu yet (they have only been open since July). I hope that frybread will be a regular feature, and I look forward to any new dishes on their menu. I also hope they will post a menu soon--people need to know what wonderful dishes await.

My personal favorites are the iced sugar cookies. For some reason these cookies hit different. Lisa, the owner, seemingly loves baking and it really comes out in the taste of all of her creations. I am usually pretty picky when it comes to my treats and I know most people are, but I can honestly say I have absolutely nothing to complain about. We even ordered some Gluten free Peanut butter cookies that I would probably prefer to eat over most others. This is hard to say out loud because I generally do not like peanut butter and Gluten free always tastes like it is missing something. NOT THESE! Absolutely mind blowing how good these were. Customer service was excellent and talking to Lisa was super easy and she just nailed it. Thank you again Lisa for making this a great experience, I will return for more goodies! P.S. I just found out they sell these around town in various locations and if I ever come across them I do not think I will be able to not but some.
