This review is from my experience 1 year ago in 2024: Incredibly annoyed and very disappointed, to be completely honest. Pegasus was recommended to us by a local hotel (for wedding guest transport), and all of the Google reviews are glowing! However, right from the start, customer service seemed to be severely lacking. I requested a quote online on Monday (immediately received an automated email acknowledging my request and indicating that I would receive a response "very soon"). I waited until Wednesday - after not receiving any communication, I followed up via email (the email they have listed on their site). Waited until Friday. Still nothing. I called first thing in the morning on Friday, but apparently while their hours are 6am-5pm, their Sales Team does not start until 8am. No biggie. The lady on the phone took down my name and number and told me that someone would give me a call before 9am. (side note: I did not mention my 2 previous requests... simply approached it like a brand new inquiry) 11:30am rolled around - nothing. So I called again - this time I did mention that I had called in the morning and didn't receive a call back. I finally got through to someone on the Sales Team, and she gave me her email address (I believe this was her direct email address, as it is not the same as the one listed on their website) and told me what information she needs me to include in my email. I emailed her all of the information within minutes of hanging up the phone. I received a proposal about 3.5hrs later, reviewed it and found that it did not take into account the details I had provided. I replied to the quote within 20 minutes of receiving it, requesting a quote with the details I had already provided. Today is now Thursday of the following week, and I've not received any response or updated quote. I've decided to book with another transit provider. Update: it's now Tuesday of the next week and I've finally received an updated quote. 2025 Update: I received a phone call from Pegasus in the second week of March 2025 inquiring if I was still interested in their services. lol read more

This is our 3rd year using Pegasus Transit to transport visiting Executive MBA Austrian students for the two weeks they are here in Thousand Oaks. The drivers, (we had several over the two weeks), were exceptional. Very patient and kind. Wonderful communication all around. The drivers called and introduced themselves before each trip. And the service from the office was second to none! It's a pleasure to work with everyone. They're always responsive, making sure everything is as it should be, and then some! Thanks for everything. On April 27, 2025, we chartered a 56-passenger bus with Pegasus. This is not the first time we have gone to Dodger Stadium via Pegasus Transit as a group; we have made over five bus trips with Pegasus to Dodger Stadium. They made the whole process easier, from booking the bus to delivering on every request I made of them. Shout out to Dena Bridges for an excellent administrative job. Shout out to Onofre Hernandez. This is the second time we have used Pegasus Transit to transport a large group from Oxnard to LAX for a tour to Israel then back to Oxnard once we returned. EVERYTHING, from the original contact, to the trips to and from the airport was stellar. I rarely give 5-star reviews. "Good" for me gets 4-stars. WOW! What a class act company!!! We ordered a charter bus for our high school senior trip to Disneyland. LISA our driver was hands down the nicest and most amazing driver we have ever had. We have been on dozens of field trips and LISA is the absolute best! Even the kids were like, "WOW SHE IS SO COOL!" The person ordering made a mistake, and Pegasus FIXED IT FOR US! Used Pegasus Transit for a corporate event to a Dodgers game event for 50+ people. From the start, the booking process was super easy and all of my many questions were answered. When it came down to the event, our driver was extremely thorough with his safety talk and wanted to make sure we were all comfortable. Pegasus Transit is a great company. Our family and friends (50 People) plan an annual trip to go see the Dodgers at Dodger stadium. We worked with Melvin, who was great from the initial quote to end of our trip. No last minute surprises. Mel was very responsive to our wishes. Yesterday, i was nearly hit by one of these buses and only avoided it by swerving into the median turn lane. I was then stalked by the driver after honking at him and indicating my displeasure with his driving skills through use of a popular hand gesture (he deserved it). He actually followed me for a while then tried pulled up next to be and began yelling. When I attempted to pull away he used his bus to block me in. I then called the main office to complain and was essentially disregarded. I was told their compliance department would call me back but never heard a word. This company does not seem to take the safety of their passengers seriously and I would seriously consider an alternate choice. Follow-up: The day after posting this review I was called by someone from Pegasus for more information so it looks like they're taking this seriously. I'm adding a star to my review but I'm still really bugged by their initial response and the actions of their driver. read more

Last year I had to go from Simi Valley, CA to the embarkation point in Long Beach, CA for a family cruise. We were two families, two pick ups and two drop offs back to Simi Valley. There were many scheduling changes from our part but the people at Pegasus did not skip a beat. The most important part to me of any service is their timeliness. Our pick up was scheduled at 5:00 and the driver was at my sisters house early by 10 minutes. They loaded the kids and luggage and came for me and my sons. I had them, our luggage and many nerves for the experience. My oldest son has a disability. The driver was evidently knowledgable as to how to interact with my son, how to approach and help him. He told me the drivers are trained for people with disabilities. He was courteous, helpful, his driving was impeccable, and knew exactly where we needed to go. I had the incorrect information for the loading point but he had the correct one printed with him. The drive was smooth because the van was clean and tidy and all seats felt comfortable. I am planning this years vacation and will use them to take my family to and from the LAX airport this June for our Hawaii trip! Pegasus Transit is a fantastic company. Angie Torres is our customer service representative and she is very quick to respond when we ask for a bus. Angie is friendly and conscientious. She takes pride in her work. The buses are clean, seat belts are all working and the drivers are very friendly and accommodating. Our bus driver Jose Herrera arrived early and ready to do his best for us. We plan on a long relationship with this wonderful company. We tried two other bus companies that we were very unhappy with; arrived late, one bus did not show up at all and they had trash all over inside the bus. That part of vacations I I hated most was always the trip to and from the airport -- until I found PEGASUS TRANIST! I love these people! Starting with the very first call, I didn't get an automated system, I got a very friendly and very knowledgeable person on the phone who answered all my questions. Now, I just book very conveniently online. I LOVE the fact that the vehicle is dedicated to ME! The very courteous drivers are at my door 10 to 15 minutes ahead of schedule. They take me straight to the airport -- no other drop-offs or pick-ups. When my return fight arrives, they are at the gate waiting for me. If there is a problem with my arrival, they've given me the driver's cell phone number on the receipt. After pick-up they take me straight to my door. LOL! They've even offered to take me to pick up coffee or a bite to eat. Last week, my return arrival (and my daughter's return departure, which was dependent on that arrival) was fraught with delays, but each change was met graciously and accomodated. Since I began using PEGASUS TRANSIT, I have never used any other airport shuttle -- and I never will! By the way, they also provide bus service for group outings and tours, etc. My Rotary club uses them for our annual Cajun Festival and for our wine tours and other events. Same exemplary service. Their prices are extremely reasonable and their service absolutely rocks. I can't compliment these poeple enough! Try them, you'll love them too.! read more

Finally I get to review. I walk my dog every morning and notice a bus in Ventura. I just want to say this lady and men are doing a great job. The wheelchairs costumers they transport are always happy. They sure make there day.This workers seem like they really enjoy what they are doing. They communicate with them and the home. I have a aunt in a wheelchair and sure she would love to ride in that bus. Friendly people and professional. Good job pegasus. read more

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT use this bus company!! The customer service representative I believe her name was Cherri, was so rude and disrespectful. She belittles you and laughs about it! She needs to change job selection, customer service is not her forte. I can just imagine how the drivers are, she gives the first impression for the company and she is not a good one. I recently just called to get some questions answered and hung up feeling like I was stupid thanks to her. I called back later in the day hopeing to get better service, I did not!
